Some great shots there mates, here's my entry:
I wanted to show much headlight detail but at the same time show a bit of the car. Funny thing is: On the headlamp it says: Made in Germany haha, I just did not expect to see this on a F40.

- The detail shot on the F40 is great, maybe its just me but that red just doesn't seem "Ferrari Red", lighting issue ?

- The color in the Audi pic also seems dulled, maybe its a jpeg compression thing, but love the use of surrounding decorations

Here's what I came up with after some angle/filter experiments

My bad, sorry, and a big sorry to the OP, because this rule rules lol, great idea for a picture thread, here's my take:

I find it kinda boring sorry lol, it's just that the car does not really match with the background, just my opinion, but nice car anyway. 6/10

Thx dude, your pic is quite good too, yep, like it.-same location by the way.

Selective color instantly ruins any photograph for me. It's a cheap way to draw attention towards the subject and most of the time looks bad. Even though the white line grabs a lot of attention. The angle is all right, on the other hand, but not spectacular. I really knock down scores for selective coloring, but I'll let it fly with a 7/10.
GT5's filters aren't that great, except if the tilt-shift one is used right. They all are very easily to replicate and improve on.

3rd one, is by far the best of the 3; the GTR the least. Unfortunately, gt5 doesn't render flames well. It would've been great if the flames lit up the car, and the tail-lights are really not round looking. Veyron is just funny, but a good shot regardless.

Zonda 9/10
GTR - 4/10
Veyron - 8.7/10

@suzq044

I like the use of negative space in the first one nice composition, the grille and headlamp shape give the impression of a monster lunging out of the dark. The composition of the second one looks good too nice use of negative space on the front grille the exposure level works well with the background. The third one didn't work for me, it was hard to tell what I was looking at the F stop could have been higher but lighting and reflections are nice.

1. 9/10
Great lighting effects on the car and the background is nice. My only gripe is that the tree cuts into the car. Personally ruins the photograph for me when a backround object seems to "stab" the center of the picture. But it's only minor, great picture overall.
2. 9/10
Again a very nice looking photograph with only one minor issue. I think the angle could have slightly better, the bulge in the hood looks odd sticking up. It just seems to be poking out, moving the angle up a bit could have corrected this. But a great picture still.
3. 10/10
Great picture, great focus object, great lighting. I would have played with exposure value a bit more to see if I could have cut down on some of the odd lighting effects on the emblem, but I can't even knock a point off for something so trivial.
4. 10/10
Another great, the only suggestion would have been to play with the shutter speed to see if the emblem came out a little less blurred (but it might just be the chopping of the lighting due to the game engine, so I'm not taking any points away for it). All 4 of your shots were excellent.

My only complaint for yours Enzo, is that you don't change the motion blur type; They're all the crappy GT4 style blur. If you had changed your last one, your first and second one to type two or three, they would've come out much better. I think the 3rd shot would've been better as a vertical shot; but otherwise, good shot.

5 - 3/10 - WAY too much blur there.
4 - 8/10 - nice still shot, gives it a classic look.
3 - 5/10 - not a bad shot, but not a good one either; it just doesn't hold my attention. Perhaps too much to look at ?
2 - 3/10 - Focus is in the right place, but it's too dark, and is using the wrong blur.
1 - 4/10 - Would've been a great shot, but you forgot to refocus on the car, it's a little too dark for me, too.

@suzq , try finding a different image hosting site, your images are pixelized.

1. 7/10 pretty nice, but a little frightening. As if I were about to get run over.

2. 6/10, focus seems off. Maybe focus on the headlight.

3. 8/10, good photo. Unfortunately, too bright on one side.

4. 8/10, same as above.

@ Hellopppp

1. 8/10 - I like the composition with with the rest of the track and tunnel in the shot.

2. 7/10 - Not a bad picture, but I would have preferred the whole car be in focus, with just the background in bokeh. Also, when turning wheels for a shoot, I always feel that having the wheel visible is better than the tire.

3. 8/10 - A good shot, but this time, i think showing more of the plane and it being in focus would have helped the picture pop a bit more. Also, same as above with the wheels.

1) 9/10 Great Standard shot
2) Could use a slower shutter speed to get some movement, it's too centered... 4/10
3) Looks almost real, the higher shutter speed works in that case 8/10
4) Overall there's nothing wrong with the shot, it's just not that exciting. 7/10

I don't agree with making the plane more visible or the wheels on #3. It's a pretty well layed out photo, albeit a little dark; I think that was the point though.

The F-stop should've been expanded just a little more on the Ferrari in #2,

I think this one is pretty good, but the hood looks a little out of place; almost flat-grey, not carbon. The car, however, needs a wider stance; the rear wheel is like a foot inside the wheel-well. lol

My first batch of photos. Still getting used to the settings and such. Enjoy!

I like the sense of motion in your photos. The dark shots are especially cool. I can't put my finger on it, but the biggest problem with these seems to be the composition, I just cant figure out what it is about the composition. Overall very nice. 7/10.

I like the first shot, a tad dark but it adds to the effect. Cars look like they are on water 👍

How about mine?

DANG! I love this photo! Amazing shot! Which track / photolocation is this?

@Bryan C:
Sorry, but I'm not going to comment on 8 different photos.
I only comment on the last one:

+Nice compo
+Nice colors
+Nice flames
-A bit to dark maybe
-I would crop it a little different at the back of the car

Mine:

8.5 a little dark on the lighting...and the car is kind of lost in the shadows, a little low in the composition. No movement is created. Doesn't "stir" the soul.

how many times did you hit the wall before you snapped that shot, you flattened the car!!! lol xD :sly:

It looks very skewed—and not just the car; the composition and eyeflow feel lopsided. That combined with a lot of light colors and lack of contrast lend to a very flat image. It is a unique approach, however. 4.5

No photoshop or filters here. Just looking for overall feedback.

9/10, it is very nice, though IMO, could do with more contrast and a tad less blur perhaps. Still excellent. 👍

Love the pic above. Looks mean and moody sort of a Film noir about it.
Lighting just perfect. 9/10.

My first Pic, a bit similar perhaps.

^ Maybe its my monitor, but it seems a tad dark, you can only see what towards the center of the pic, kinda excludes the road lights having an influence 6.5/10

A bit older but still a fav of mine, even if the compression kills it
