Wits - awesome shot. Not sure why but I love it.

My first attempts to use photo mode:

Do you prefer the background blurred, or clear?

Because of the crap details in the second building from the right I prefer more blur so you cant see the bad details.

As per the first post, please keep picture to a reasonable size.
Ballpark figure on GTPlanet is 800 pixels on longest edge.
Thank you.

Thank you :)

9/10 for yours, fantastic car, and fantastic colours.

Really like these ones. Especially the first three the color and lighting are spot on man and it makes them look really quite real. On my iPhone anyway. Nice work man. I need to learn a thing or two!

Thank you, it is amazing what you can do in photoshop to make things look real, there are many tutorials out there for photoshop, if you haven't got it, get it, it is the best thing since sliced bread.

I see these are shopped. I think I'll get to grips with photomode in gt5 before I take on photo shop. Its a bit advanced for me at the moment! Time permitting Id love to get into Photoshop.

I only added a few small touches in photoshop, just a bit of exposure, shadow highlighting, a bit of saturation as well.

If you got the time, i suggest getting into it if you like photography and art, it is a real masterpiece of a tool, the possibilities are endless.

The real beauty of photos looking real in GT5 is the lighting, get the lighting right and you already 3/4 of the way there to a great looking photos, they really have done an amazing job at polyphony digital, my upmost thanks goes to them.

I'll soon be working on a website made in flash dedicated to gt photos amongst some other things :)

Yes man defiantly keep us posted with the site and all that stuff. I have used an open source programme that is very similar to Photoshop called Gimp. Weird name I know but a powerful tool nonthe less and way too advanced for me at the moment. Something that I'll get involved with in the future

let's see if you like it

I really like this photo. The use of colour in particular, it all matches together so well. The only issue I have is that it feels a bit imbalanced, the front of the car gets lost in the movement on the left hand side and looks a bit messy. It draws your attention away a bit too much from what is otherwise a great shot!
I'm no pro though, so don't take my advice too heavily!

8.5/10

My first attempt at using Photomode, I dont really have any photoshop skills so these are directly from the game.

In this I was trying to make it look like the Cobra was hiding, ready to pounce around the corner at you. Its difficult to position the car with the restrictions though, so it hasn't looked as tight as I feel it needs to be.

An attempt at making a playful shot of a Mustang.

Cobra: 9/10, Mustang: 7/10
I like the Cobra picture, but the Mustang one could be better with a little work. :)

Awesome, I love how you put the camera down so low so you can really see the smoke from the drift. :) 9.5/10

7.6 I like how you got the F40 to drift. But with a little close-up work it could be great. Close up is very nice.
