not telling anybody what to do, but then change thread title to The Realistic Photoshoped Thread

Actually, you are.

Here you are saying this:

but when OP asks to do not you shouldn't :P

And yet, thats not what I read:

- Try to stick to photos straight out of GT5. If you must edit them, please indicate that you have done so in the post.

Nowhere do I read where it says you can't edit them.

And then you do this:

PS =fail
makes any average look good

Which appears to violate this rule:

.- No negative comments! You can critique people's work, but try not to criticize in a mean or negative way. Stick to the rules of the forum, and try to be nice. It never feels good to be told your picture sucks.

And you're calling someone "photomode czar"? Let people post pictures the way they want. As long as they follow the rules set forth by the OP and since its no problem to him, then there's no problem and therefore, you shouldn't complain.

Here is my entry.....I hope everyone will stop bitching back and forth....

Nice, like how you can see the color reacting to the light. 👍
Only thing it misses would be a reflection from a guy with a camera.

Original version, which I thought looked fairly realistic..

Slightly edited version, added a light smattering of film grain and lowered the saturation, probably looks a touch more realistic being as the colours are less vibrant but I'm in two minds..

Name one major car magazine, or magazine in general that doesn't run their photos through photoshop before publishing.

I just shot the cover for Euro Tuner (May 2011 issue) and I didn't use Photoshop

I used Lightroom 3.3 :)

@Feldynn: The picture is a bit too dark, the grain is a nice idea but looks bad on the light reflection. Try to work a bit with the levels (CTRL+L) and move the right slider slighty in the middle for example.

I'm so pissed that lightroom doesn't come with CS4 Master Collection... might have to do some "research" to get it... lol. btw can you do HDR in lightroom? Or is it literally just light adjustmets

Yeah, I see what you mean about the grain. I actually don't have Photoshop, used the editting tools on Photobucket.com lol, though I do have an old version of Paint Shop Pro I've used in the past. Might have to try running some shots through that later :).

Thanks for the comment though :).

I was gonna say I thought all publications at least altered the coloration for print versus online. At least my wife did when she was a newspaper photographer. But the bottom of your post clarified it :)
