You guys must not follow any form of American racing, as that camera angle is one of the most used ones on that track in real life.

And yes, those camera angles are impossible, if you stood further back and zoomed in it would create a much different looking photograph.

Owned by superior photos much. I don't think they were talking about your camera angle, just the photo in general. Looks like it came out of a computer game.

Here's some. I don't know if they should count as realistic because I used filters on some of them. (Not this first one though.)
I see a lot of pics in here that aren't re-sized to be smaller, I'll just leave mine as is unless someone has any objections.

I always loved Special Stage Route 5. :)

My Lamborghini Countach at Laguna Seca Speedway. Yes, standard cars can look good too.

Actually I suck at photomode but this one I thought turned out quite nice. Not sure it is the most realistic-looking but still, it's ok.

My ZR1 (RM) in a bit of trouble. And before you ask, no, it didn't go too well.

Breezy, that's a really nice shot of the Ferrari. Very original. It's now in competition with an AC Cobra shot for which one I choose as my desktop background.

You are an idiot...

I can't find it right off. It's a blue Cobra with what looks like the racing mod against a black and white urban background. I didn't know the car could be race modified. Or, the owner photoshopped the "GT" onto the car. Either way, it looks great. I'm a sucker for the older rides.

Shots like those aren't realistic at all. It'd be impossible to even have a camera at that position.

Anyway.

Dude, ever hear of a camera rig?

While GT5 is taking the photography to an extreme (ie: I wouldn't do a rig shot with a car going over 5 mph let along the speeds in GT) don't assume that it's impossible to have a camera at any position when it comes to automotive photography.

Yes, and that's why I didn't select the picture where the actual camera was close enough to the car where it coulda been a rig shot. :P

you just cant admit that you are wrong...
No, I'm being honest. You notice I didn't select all the pictures from that shot. I've known about camera rigs for a long loooong time, and I don't think you can get them out that far.

You could get those shots without a rig. You'd just need a brave camera man and a good driver.

I've been doing automotive photography for a while in real life but I'm just starting out on this in GT5. Here are a few I thought looked pretty sweet and quite real.

I cropped it man, what, do you really think that's a real pic? :irked:

And yes, some post-processing done.

when i first looked at it i could've sworn it was a real pic. which i would take as a compliment since you took it in game because it looks that realistic. the only thing that let me know it was from GT5 was the GT flag on the left. i could see that image in a magazine.
