terminator363What was used to create the grain? When I make things look old (in CS5) I use texturize at times but it's not the same. I really like the effect that was used in that photo.
I use snapseed.

Hello,
These pictures are the result of my first attempt to make realistic pictures with GT5 Photo Mode.
I don't edit the pictures with Photoshop or something. These are just straight from GT5.
I would like to get your opinions on them, so I can improve my photos.

I use Paint.NET, it's just as good as photoshop after putting in a few plugins, and it's completely free!
Not hating but it would be much more impressive if these photos were NOT photoshopped and came straight from the games photomode.
You're composition skills are very good, especially shot number 6. Although, usually I like to leave some space for the car to "move" into. Like so:
Circuit de la Sarthe 2009_16 by Gt5 By CCXRacer, on Flickr
Other than that, for your moving shots I would lower the shutter speed to 1/60th of a second and switch panning mode to 2, or 3 to produce the effect of movement out of the car. like above.👍
But they are very nice with the color tones and exposure. especially since they are straight outta gt5. I really like the last with the flowers in front of the car, you can see I used the same effect on page 641.

1/60th shutter speed will let my wheels "turn" on the picture?
What is the difference between mode 1 and 2/3?
If the shutter speed is 150 or below it should be good for the turn aspect. About the modes. Different modes change the focus of the photo. Mode one focuses on the center meaning that, depending on the shutter speed, the other end of the car will look blurred. Mode 2 is somewhat in between meaning the road is somewhat focused and some on the car. Mode 3 is basically the car is the center of attention and the road is not focused. That is from my experience might not be completely true. Hope this helped.

Overdrive003That is absolutely amazing! It looks like its from a car magazine from the 60's. Amazing work!
