I was trying to capture the driver, while the car appears to be at speed.??

Gary, the second picture you've posted is - in my opinion - your best work to date. I really like the fact that you've managed to get an extremely high contrast without sacrificing much detail. Additionally, the smooth background (which has outstanding tones to it, I might add!) makes the car stand out more; given that you have dark colours in the foreground, this aspect seems to be of an even greater value. 👍

NB I stared at your dodge photo forever trying to figure out which track has that dodge banner before I realized you obviously photoshopped it in (not obviously as in it's done poorly, just because that's what you do )

Does anyone think this looks real? I personally kind of hate it...I guess I liked it initially and now I find more criticisms every time I look at it

About yours Degen, it's averagely realistic, mostly because of the light bulb on the runway, it looks horrid, also the car looks cartoonish. Don't let that demotivate, it's just an unlucky shot, that can happen to everyone. I know how hard it is to rate your own pic, nearly impossible.

Yeah I was going to edit out the bulb until I realized I hated the picture and didn't care enough to Agree that the car looks juvenile. Thanks for the feedback, I have some new ideas now.

You're spot on there Doc.

Sometimes you see something that is not right, and then something slips through the net, and you don't see it.

I also had a pic there and I hated it.

I guess that when editing can be your friend, or you could just scrap it and try again.👍
