hi canu,
i am not being petty, or should i say i hope i am not.
can i ask you why did you change your car to the 2000 model, let me guess, it is that much quicker...

now dont get me wrong here, i would love to be in a 2000 model myself, and yes is there is a 2000 epson nsx, go check in online dealerships, 375000 credits.

so epson i can be aswell all the way, lol

it is just that i spent a lot of time practicing for these events, and i know what the differences are between these models, and trust me i know the 2000 model is 3 seconds quicker, plus does not use its tyres as much as the 2006-2008 models. so if you think i am being petty, then let me also drive a 2000 model. (epson)

then fair is fair, all i or we ask for is consistency in the enforcement of the rules and regulations, i am happy to stay in the car i have but if people starting pitching up in a different car then we all should have the same possibilities, true?

win or lose i still enjoy the races, they are fairly clean, and i enjoy racing with you, thanks for a great championship, it has been put together very professionally.

Good morning Bronzo. As you could obviously see last night, I was just as fast in my 2006 as I am in my 2000 Arta, so I respect your opinion but disagree the 2000 is 3 sec a lap faster than the 2006. That's absolutely ludicrous.... maybe if you pushed it up to 630pp. Lol. But anyway, to avoid any further complications i will run the 2006 Arta for the rest of the season and you can run your 2008 Epson. Problem solved.... Everyone happy and everything fair. For the record..... I had Homes permission to run the 2000 in the last race, so I'm not taking any penalty, cause that's just petty. It's a tough championship but a great one, and the racing is getting better and better as we all find our feet! No hard feelings Bronze, I dig racing with you and I hope to give you a good run for your money! See u on the track.

morning Canu,
so to settle this meet me tonight on cape ring (7 laps) u in your equally fast nsx 2006 and me in a 2001 nsx and prove your point, if you beat me then i will be convinced.
i have not yet compared times with the 2000/1 nsx on indy, but i did on grandvalley, trial mountain and cape ring and yes they are faster, so which still brings me back to my question, why did you pitch up in a 2000 nsx if you had your 2006 available? so you should get a penalty unless we all get a chance to go in a different gt series car. fair is fair mate, u say u had homes permission, then why did he say he will check and give penalty after he watched the replay?? something smells fishy..

Hey Bronzo.... it's quite simple actually, the 2000 doesn't wear tires like the 2006 and therefore the 2000 is more consistent to drive over a long race, which makes it easier and faster in the long run. But there is no way in hell it's 3 seconds a lap faster, so ja anytime to your challenge old chap! Send me your cell nr and I'll forward Homes message to you where he says YES to me using it.... maybe the fishy smell is coming from closer to home. Lol. Maybe Homes feels obliged to say he would penalize me cause he's my teammate and because you're making such a big deal about it. But don't be so quick to accuse people of things before you have all the facts.... it really smells like sour grapes. So don't forget to send me your cell, so you can apologize! I'm done with this pettiness Bronzo, we'll let the results do the talking. Like last night. ;) Oh and remember, I don't need your permission 4 anything old chap, you're just one of the guys...... but you're definitely not THE MAN...... and neither am I. I'm just here to have fun like everyone else. DONE!

hey canudigthis, no i can not lol

u started all of this. the rules were clear.

and please stop avoiding giving me the answer to my question.

why did you race with the 2000 nsx?

why did homes give you permission to race that car? did he not make it clear that in race 1 agent were in an illegal car?? 2000 nsx

or did u miss that bit?

if you want to start making trouble by racing in an illegal car then face the music, you think we all should just keep quite while you win a race with the wrong car... hmm i think not

Oh Brother you have some serious issues..... As I said, the 2000 doesn't wear tires like the 2006, therefore its easier to drive and is faster in the long run. Make sure you read that twice...... cause that's your answer. But u're smoking rocks if u say u're 3 seconds a lap faster in the 2000 than i am in the 2006..... it's laughable.... haha ha. Now don't forget to send me your cell and I'll send you proof of my permission. And as far as I can tell it's only u throwing your toys out if the cot.... so maybe you should get a grip. And the last time I checked, your name was Bronzo.... not THE MAN.... or God, so you don't talk for anyone but yourself, and nobody needs to answer to you. Stop ruining the fun series...... sour grapes! Lol

Sorry Will, now there is a translation.

Sorry guys.

But when somebody insinuates u`re a cheat and a liar then u have no choice but to stand up for yourself, you would all do the same i`m sure. Boys will be boys and we like to compete..... and we do it with games. Hence the saying " he who dies with the most toys wins" Haha ha

I`ve now taken a deep breathe, thanks for the reminder Silver. Bronzo..... u can have my points if you want them that bad, i`m just going to race and have fun!

Shew - Seems like chaos has happened while I have been away.

It is my fault.

I did say to canu he can try the 2001 arta as I did not believe it had a performance advantage. I also said I hope nobody else complains (implying that I know its against the rules and therefore subject to penalty).

Since I am the series runner, I shold have know better. Sorry!

It now appears the 2001 does have a performance advantage, so to correct this, how about the following:

Everyone (except canu and me) gets a 7pp advantage for the next race.

By saying to canu he can try the 2001, I was unknowingly giving him a performance advantage, so now I am knowingly saying to everyone else 'Here is your chance to have an advantage'.

I can't think of anything more fair.

Sorry. Please drive the correct car and stick to the rules, then something like this won't happen again. :)

Morning all... myself and Bronzo did a little test last night at cape ring, and he is quite right, he is extremely fast in his 2001 NSX. In fact he is so fast that his times were even 2 sec a lap faster than the times I ran in my 2000 NSX during the race. Impressive. I will eat my humble pie now..... you were right and I was wrong. Theres not that huge a difference with the Artas and I don't think myself or homes realized the error of our decision. So sorry Homes for putting you in this position by asking the question, and thanks for always being so accommodating.... this is a cool championship u're running. Bring on Road Indy!

Canu my money is on u for indy anyway. I dont know about scale but I dont think someone will catch u there. Oh dear but with 7pp to all other drivers it might be more of a challenge to you

You never know whats going to happen.... Breaking the tow down that long straight is key 4 the race, and will be a challenge 4 everyone! Scale is in a league of his own, I don't think anyone will touch him. Homes: On the subject of pp, what system r we running, cause there was huge confusion before the last race. Lol. Does the championship positions count for pp ballast penalty, or is it the previous race results?

Just thought of another option that might spice it up a bit....

How about... everyone gets to choose 1 race between now and the end of the end of the series (except Nurburgring 24hr or the last race) where they can get their 7pp advantage?

Then everyone wont get it all at the same time (neutralising it).

???

Sorry but after sleeping through the night, I've made a critical decision that I won't be around for the whole season. I feel like an outsider, and don't want to race with Scale and other guys who have had so much practice it's not even fun any longer. Bad way to end the season, but also TOCA is currently starting, it's difficult to focus on two big series at once.

Thats a pity carbon. Was hoping to have some good races with you scence as we both in a rubish NSX LOL.

Man, tonight's gonna be damage control for me. I am 2sec off the pace.

Bronzo and Canu are flying. I need my 7pp for tonight for sure.

OK here are the driver standings and results for round 3.

RisingSunCupPointsRound3.jpg

hey homes,

at what pp will i be for tonight? remember you said i get an extra 2pp because myself and scale were mixed up last race with pp deductions.

thanks homes for the quick reply
c u all tonight, going to be fun.. i am sure of it.
was so much fun racing with driver and canu last night 15 lapper, close racing - very close
we are going to have fun if we can keep it on the black stuff.
enjoy
bronzo

Ja last night was great.... I think if we stay relaxed, take our time when over taking, and work together down the straights.... then the Gtrs don't stand a chance. Lol. Honda rules!

Now I'm completely out. I'm devastated, don't ever again want to get experiences like this. My tires wore out faster than yours, this is not even fair competition anyway. The one-make was cool, but things are getting already ridiculous.
