Homes, why don't the guys who have to adjust their pp qualify with it.

I go to Cape Ring with 587pp again, so I can qualify with my car set at 587pp. Same for the others, then the race can start as per normal.

The only thing is....it will have to be a gentlemen's agreement.

I want more PP.
I cant see the table, so can anybody tell me where I am on the list? For those of you that I was racing with last night, sorry chaps, i got kicked from the game? Will be back tonight.

6th, you have equal points to Razzor but are ahead on a tie-breaker because of a better single race position.

I would love to be able to trust everyone and do that, but we just don't have any way of checking other drivers pp, so it would make cheating way too easy and it would just take 1 or 2 cheaters to ruin it for the vast majority of drivers in our league who do seem to be honest and fair.

Reversing the championship standings to create the grid would be super fun for the 1st few laps.

Another idea is to remove the ballast system and go back to normal GT5 start and possibly have a kind of ballast in the points system????

Reverse grid could work, my only concern is that the passing may be rushed and cause a few guys to get totally pissed off.

This control over ballast does seem a lot to deal with, I love the idea of it but, if its too much to keep everyone happy then I would suggest dropping it and let the game take control.

Fantastic race again.

Thanks Will for hosting. Canu....well done, you were very quick.

Super close racing going on behind, bumper to bumper action.

NO DC's, brilliant. I upgraded my connection and for me it made a huge difference.

Thanks guys

great race, pity about the confusion about the pp reduction for leader, like i was saying last night i was not the driver with a 7pp reduction, scale was. but everybody seemed to know better then me so i left it, but here is the proof. please read and understand that i was right, and was unfairly reduced to 583pp, plus i see someone driving an illegal car - canudigthat in a 2000 nsx, when i am in my 2000 nsx i am 3 seconds faster per lap and i see that was the difference in lap times when compared to 2000 nsx (canudigthis) and me 2008 epson

Ballast System and new start proceedure.

The top 5 drivers in the championship will receive a 'ballast' penalty at each event (except for the 1st and last race) where thay have to reduce the PP (using the power limiter) by:
1st-7pp, 2nd-5pp, 3rd-3pp, 4th-2pp, 5th-1pp

- At 20h20 qualifying ends.
- A photo of the grid as it stands will be taken.
- Everybody will be asked to leave the track and pits.
- The 'allowed PP' will be set to 583pp and the championship leader will be asked to go to the track.

Did everyone have a good race?

No. I stopped caring very shortly and have lost so much motivation that probably won't even finish the season... the races come way too late anyway, going half an hour past my usual bedtime...

Carbon,Its just A GAME... you're way too young to be so serious.... Lighten up and just have fun....

I can't have fun when I'm driving faster than I ever expect from myself, yet still lose multiple seconds per lap to some of these guys...

Carbon - The ARTA NSX and the Raybrig NSX are slower than the GTR's, so try to race the other NSX's and don't worry about the GTR's 👍

Bronzo - You are right about the pp, so next race you get a 2pp advantage to make up for it. 👍

About canu using the wrong car - I will get the replay sent to me (or checked) to confirm and penalise as necessary (but he is my team-mate, so he won't get much penalty..... Just kidding)

I will always try and be fair.

hey homes

welcome back.

yes i was running with the wrong (583pp)

now scale was running with an added 2pp in his race so surely he then should run with an additional 2pp deduction in the next race to make things fair.

because he had a 4pp advantage over me, he was suppose to be 583 and he was running 585, i was suppose to be 585 and i was running 583, that gives you a difference of 4 pp, if scale and myself were running 583 i agree with you that i get 2 pp in next race advantage, but scale needs to lose 2 pp.

hope this makes sense.. lol

apart from this issue we had a great race..

Hey guys. Just 4 the record, I asked homes if I could use the 2000 Arta instead of the 2006 and he said yes. And anyway as far as I know Bronzo used the Arta NSX for the first race and now he's using the Epson NSX? Surely that's illegal? Anyways this is all very petty Bronzo. Lol But if I must get a penalty then so must you. Let's hope it doesn't get this petty and we can all race and have fun!

hey homes/ canu,

i dont mind u using the 2000 nsx, as long as i can also use the 2000/1 model, then at least we nsx boys can compete against the like of the gtr's.

but i will leave this one with homes, who is also in a nsx and have seen that the nsx suffers against the gtr's. the gtr's are just that much more stable, and the nsx really suffers big time with rear tyre wear.

good luck to all
may the best car win...lol ok man.

canu i was in a arta because we were not sure about the car i was to drive, i then changed to epson after there were already 2 arta's on the track, u and homes. so now i partner with agent who also needs to drive a epson, but has been missing in action

I do not agree that the gtr is faster around a track then the nsx. Maybe faster than the arta. I tested the locktite nsx to my gtr and was faster with the nsx at all tracks up to date. The 2000/1 nsx is in a class of its own and about 3 sec faster then the 06 and 08 nsx and gtr. If the 2000/1 nsx is excepted i would like to change to my locktite nsx

Bronzo..... The only reason I used the Team Arta NSX 2000 is because it's a Team Arta NSC and that's my team. I might be mistaken but I don't think there is a 2000 Team Epson car? Your 2008 Epson is far quicker than the 2006 nsx's, so I didn't think anyone would mind if I used the older 2000 model. But obviously u do.... but anyway this is all rather petty and we should just enjoy the racing. If u got an Epson 2000 NSX then by all means use it, but I think everyone should have a say in the matter not just Homes, after all he is my teammate and seeing we're all part of this championship. We all chose our teams at the start.... and I'm an Arta man to the end, first or last. Lol

I don't have any problem what you guys drive. Everyone's ability to drive certain cars differ. One driver may prefer a certain spec over the other and feels more comfortable using it, so be it.

However..... to stay true to the series and the formed Teams, maybe the car you start with should be the car you stick with. If canu asked to use it and was given the go ahead by homes, then that's fine, the car I believe is still a Team Arta NSX, just different year.

It's unfortunate to say, but I may not finish the series due to the horrible pressure as well as the fact that the races are too late, causing a lack of sleep. Besides, I've only had proper fun in 3 of the first 4 races of Season 1 (with Le Mans obviously the exception among those)...

Carbonox....what this "horrible pressure" you experiencing.

The racing has been awesome so far ???

I'm much worse than a champion should be... and the others are almost unrealistically quick, I can't enjoy it when the pack is split into two.

The guys are quick....especially now in this series when car set up has been included, but its still a huge challenge each week which should drive you back for more, win or lose.

I just find myself annoyed when the pack is uneven. Does anyone else remember the first few races from the Calsonic Cup? Basically anyone could win those, depending on skill for sure, but also pit strategy and sheer luck. That kind of gamble just doesn't exist anymore.

Well a one make series is the ultimate, each driving the same car, I still am loving the challenge of this one though and I certainly wouldn't pull out because its divided.

Cape Ring has been the best for me so far.....I mean a four car battle side by side, all fighting hard for position, that to me is the best, even if its for last place.

Carbon I think there is a couple of guys with real live racing and technical experience that makes it easier for them to get a good set up for the cars, But most of them are willing to help if you spend some time with them on track. I have received and given alot of settings myself. Maybe its wise to do so in advance of the race

Thank god the next track is Indy, that's at least some place I can drive at... Does anyone have the last week results btw? I don't remember much anything except that Canu won and I was 9th...

Sorry if I'm acting like a diva (again), I just expected a lot more from myself at the last two rounds... But maybe it's the uneven surface that also does tricks.

I agree completely, a one make series is the ultimate! But I think the different cars suite different tracks, and some people are just quicker on one track compared to another. Throw the pp ballast in the mix, car setup which is becoming ever more important and a whole lot of petty behavior, and we have ourselves a very interesting championship. You never know who's gonna win next.... it's great!
