Intense three way battle for points lead! With Storm's win at Daytona  we all know that he's been a strong contender all season, and Seth's doing well, with two wins in a row, since after Indy! Meanwhile, I've been fighting for podium in the last races...

And I'm struggling to finish a ****ing race!

Awww, that's not fair. You're not struggling. You and I were battling for third.. The internet is struggling.

Yes, it is... I'm golden and then BAM! I d/c... I guess I now have to reset my router EVERY time I race...

I just realized I've won 3 out of the 4 races I participated in. And the first race with Audi was at Indy, which I got 2nd place. So joining at Monza it looks like just from those 4 races I've been able to get myself up there in the battle. So for anyone who is coming in late, there is still a chance for you to secure a good position in the final standing by jumping in next Saturday.

Clearly they can still make an impact. The GT championship could still go anyway. I think even damu is still in contention. 👍

For the spread sheet I was talking everyones podiums wins races DNF DNS and best and worst season point standing finish and how many seasons they have raced in the series

Ok, so I did a lap around Fuji GT when me, nirv and Mel had a little p*ss around, and my first lap was a 1:38 there. Seth managed a 1:36.8 in a Corvette before he left. I've done a lap on there earlier on this evening, and got a 1:36.604. So... 1:36's/1:37's benchmark?

Ummm, there's a ten second problem there.

Anyways, we can't run this track, remember? There's a huge barricade blocking the track. How can we run at Fuji and not take that slow little chicane?

Doh, I meant 1:36's/1:37's.... I'll edit the post.

OH YEAAAAHH!!! What the heck was you doing? Did you accidentally plough into it and decide "I'ma make a lol out of this"?

Heh, I was trolling. :P I admit, I don't like either layout of Fuji, but, we're going to win at Fuji in ALMS. It must be. There are like three corners. AND 18 straights.

Anyways, yeah, Audi will be as ready as normal.

On here or playstation?
On here. About the feedback you wanted on something you mentioned earlier in the PMs.

And yeah hopefully We have a good chance at Fuji. But my issue is the tyre wear. Every single time, even at Monza, the Tyre Wear killed us.

Yeah... We had RUF's tire life at Monza. But, I thought "YEAH, I CAN MAKE another lap." By Ascari, the car was not running as normal. So, I learned a lesson then.

Same here. I should have been more prapared for it since I use the Viper, and the Viper isn't so hot on its tyres. However, even I didn't anticipate it being that bad.

Oh did another lap of Fuji, and a 1:36.136 was the result. HOT damn, 136136....
So maybe 1:35's/1:36's are the benchmark then?

yea, I got it! Sounds like a good starting place, we can work on it this week. But it sounds like youve already done most of the hard work!:sly:

I imagine that Fuji will not be about tires, so much as fuel. I said it at Monza, and fuel was too easy to come by. Everyone just added fuel every time they stopped.

I think that the outright pace of the cars is all that will REALLY matter, then, for Fuji. Tires will last a decent number of laps, since they won't be overly stressed. The race pace will be pretty low, too. I imagine most laps will be 1:37s in race trim. 1:34s will be possible for that last minute sprint to catch the guy who's in front, once the fuel load wears down.
