The Rolex Sports Car Series /Help Plan Season 2!/

There are definitely some points that can/will be used! Thank you!

My thoughts on the dp- I think a full conversion to dp would be the option. Cars will be from years closer together, more similar spec's. Right now we have cars from 10 years apart. Nothing wrong with that, but a gap of 2-3 years makes more sense (and they look more like DP cars).

GT- we're looking into options now :)

Ya we have lots to do before we are ready before season 2

More weight and less power in DP, closer races surely. This is coming from a guy that likes the LMP's.

I'm starting to think a full conversion to group c cars may be the way to go.

Not to derail the thread or anything, but hat version of Sarthe are we using this weekend? 2009, or 2009 with weather change?

Group C has a premium Jaguar XJR-9 and 787B. Then two Nissan's- R92/R89. Minolta Toyota. Sauber C9 and Peugeot 905.

I know what cars we're looking at. The 787b is premium-realitivly easy to get. Minolta-prize car. I have a sauber and someone has to have a Nissan. We have to keep the cars fairly easy to get (we can't limit the people that can join TOO much) and the jaguar has both a premium and standard version, which I believe are the same. So it actually may be easier to make the switch now, instead of re specing the lmp cars.

James and I have decided to start testing with group c cars this weekend! when we have rooms up, it would be awesome to have some help from you all! and to help with the process, which four group c cars would you like to see?

I'll bring my Group Cs... I have them all but the 905 and the XJR-9...

BTW, nothing in this game looks more like DP than Group C cars, especially the Sauber...

And, I have an R390 Road car we could also test... Again, though, it's just an idea for testing.

Oh yeah!! I don't KNOW if I have the Nissan... I'll test Mazda & Sauber.

Hey, guess what? We might have just found a way to include Mazda in the Rolex Series!!

Woot woot!!! I have the sauber, and the jaguar (dlc version) is the premium version the same as the standard version?

I would like to join. I can help test as well. I have the 787B, Sauber, Nissan R89C, and the dlc Jaguar xjr-9. Let me know when and where.

Shoot me a friend request on playstation, can you race the final races this season? Or are you just going to hold out until next season... And you'll know when we're testing :)

Well on a happier note... 2000 posts!!!! Sweeet!!!! And we're making progress!
James, let's let that rest. Let's stick with all real tracks.

If I can run the 787B then I will finish the season. The next race is this Saturday @ De La Sarthe correct?

Ok, I will wait until next year then. I will fire up the PS3 & add you. I hope next year will be as succesful as this year seems to be.

Group c isn't eligible until next season... Sorry!

Yo, cnd, you should still run with us man. It would be cool. There are still some DP slots available until the end of the season, it's only two more races, and I'm sure that you'd learn a lot in those two races.

I have the 908 team peugot total. I can acquire credits for another one if necessary. I just looked and found no more spots for that car. I appreciate you offering. I love the Rolex series.
