What should the best tire we use for Season 3 be?

Every race I've ever seen, Seb Vettel says "The car was good" after. :)

Polarbear said that you had gotten a reputation for saying "I had troubles with the car today." So, saying that Seth made you look like Vettel, is saying that Seth was being... picky... about his car.

When did I say that?... Oh well
And the only other time I've seen anthony mad was when the Peugeot hp typo had the oreca at a 10 hp advantage... Sorry anthony about that one! What's really sad is that it took the whole season to figure it out :(

I've learned, not to question the specs. Certainly, I'll pay close attention this season. Oh, wait, we're not running the Peugeots anymore. :lol:


Oh, while we're on this topic, the leaders lapped the Audis... Both... Audis are horribly slow this season. Could we please give them a boost?

Well, the drivers probably feel too pressured. The season 1 guys (Storm and I) are running quick lap times, and the Audi's about a second off, it seems, on a good lap. So, they're pushing their braking points, and turning in sooner, and they're letting the car lead them around.


Frustrated drivers are slower drivers. After my qualifying performance in the ITCC, I got pretty frustrated, too. I finished 9th in the first race, 5th in the second, and 3rd in the third race. In the first race, I was thinking "Oh, damn, I did horribly in qualifying." And, my race craft wasn't much better, as I continually allowed myself to get shunted around. I couldn't set myself up, strategically, to get a good position. I continually ran bad laps.


Once you're on a downhill slope, you can only go faster... :yuck: I've been where those Audi drivers are.
 
Honestly, I didn't know that was a typo last season with the Peugeot. I just went with whatever the OP said and didn't question it. Sorry Ant.

I am a clean driver and respect the rules always, I am not mad just a little offended with the comment of Seth. I can't understand each thing you write because you know I speak spanish, not English, but I hope to be clear about my comments. I am not ungry with Seth, just dissapointed because he always was my reference and the last race did and told things not too good.
I don't remember say something like Vettel, I only think that maybe is not the best car but is a good challenge.

So I suppose my new reference will be Wardez.

Should we translate our comments to Spanish? Or do you just translate yours into English and ours into Spanish? Just a question to make things easier.
 
I was adjusting to my wheel on Saturday, only had it for a day and then I had to do competitive racing :P Even today, in the F1 league, I wasn't as quick as everyone else but consistency and smooth driving got me some decent results. I didn't feel at all pressured during the racing, the only thing I was thinking was to not make mistakes. Granted, I amde dozens during the race :lol:. I'm not so sure I can live up to the expectations of last year's Audis, but I was able to run toe-to-toe with one of the Italias. It was just my low HP on the bowl that got me. That, and my lack of speed through the bends. But don't worry, I'm not really pressured to do good, I know that pressure just leads to mistakes and more mistakes.
 
Guys, this weekend should be a one off. Unless my old man 🤬 off to some other country, leaving me in charge of my brothers again! Normally, I only have to deal with them on weekdays :grumpy:

The Viper's happily running 1:46's on a full tank of fuel, and to my astonishment ran formation lap + 9 racing laps on soft tyres. As you could see in the replay though, my tyres literally couldn't survive another lap, so 9 laps is about what I'll be able to muster at Daytona.

Hm, I guess that can explain it, then again I sort of realized it when I saw the Audi having the least horsepower and the most weight :P. I just thought it's winning potential was the good traction coming out of the corners.
 
Look at the comments, you guys must love my name. :sly: Please for all that's good, lets stop the bs. I said "I'm not Anthony" because he wanted the Nissan- I didn't. He wanted me as his teammate- I didn't. He has a wheel- I don't. People kept comparing him to me- I'm not him. There is nothing offensive about that.

Also me having the Mazda was only a big deal IMO because I won. I don't think it would be winning if Anthony didn't spin in the chicane. If I wouldn't have won would there be this huge ordeal? Probably not. Just my view seemed like bitterness towards me because I used it and finished first. Why are we still hung up on the caution? I was 40 seconds ahead when they said this. So think about where you were on track and realise where I was. I think I was on the straight, so even if i went 60mph, I would be crossing the line for the last lap anyway. I'm not feeling all this negativity. Things were fine before this stupid race. Just cus I used a car that I thought was allowed people don't get bent outta shape.

The Mazda has low torque because it's a rotary engine. I maxed out @308kmh. I didn't have any secret tune for it. I ran 495hp. I put 200kg ballast on it. I didn't keep track of all this what's allowed/Not allowed stuff cus I been really busy lately with potty training my son. Just moved to a new apartment that's not fully done. The previous tenants' kid pissed up all the walls so they're getting redone. The carpet is coming up too. We gotta sleep in the living room. So much crap is going on I tend to lose my thoughts on things.

If it's a big deal because I used a car that you guys didn't want, take away my results. Theres nothing to hide. I'll put the car on share and you all can have a look at the tune. I'll use the Camaro if DP guys don't want me. And if GT guys don't want me I'll drop out. It's simple as that.

And thanks for trying to restart the 90's race for me. My connection usually isn't bad.

Also, the real reason for my post: This RX-8 is incredible! It's unbelievably fast now. I tuned it well. I won't give away any secrets, but, all challenges have been fended off already. :lol: I'm so happy to be on the RX-8 team. Damu's a good teammate; we can communicate and discuss ideas. The car's great, once I figured out the tire wear issues, and it just looks stunning. It's planted at high speeds, and has great acceleration.

My understanding, is that he won't hold back against you, and will race to his full potential, against you, instead of with you, if you're not on his team.


So, I was probably wrong. :lol: But, really though, we can't honestly shuffle teams, while everyone's happy with their teams, just because Seth wants to...


Five other people are happy with their teams. Democracy says: 5-1 win for current teams remaining unchanged.
 
Ad seth, if you don't want the Nissan, nizmo said he'll take it... Try it at Tokyo. Then the week after Tokyo will have new people (hopefully) and everyone can get settled into their cars for the regular season.
