It helps, but if there's aother people that I suffer incompatibility with, then either me or them will have to exit and rejoin. However, the moment Anthony joins, I cannot take the chance of rejoining because I have the biggest chance being being kicked if we're incompatible, hence why I asked him to join as late as possible.

Actually, I'll quote an idea Anthony said in ALMS.

we join the lobby, you before me, doesn't care if other drivers join after me, we qualify, get order grid and then, once we have the order, create a new room and join all drivers, you, and me last. (has to be after qualify because during the qualify some drivers join and rejoin). What do you think, we can try this night at Rolex.

Translation (sorry ant ): Get qualifying out of the way whether the issue happens or not, then get a new room open after we've established the grid order. Then, with the new room up, get everyone else to join first, with me joining after them, and anthony joining last (after me).

It's a lot simpler than twinkle toe-ing around trying to get the timing of joining the lobby right.

The only issue might be with a DP guy I can't see during qualifying, since they're the most likely to come across/catch upto me on the track. If I can't see them, I'll let the lobby know who it is and whether they'll be affected.

Given my qualifying habits, I doubt I'll be on track long enough for it to matter. I do about 6 laps then spend until the end of quali in the pits, but better to give a heads-up....

Sounds reasonable. Today it will be very important to be on time! I may call qualifying short (6:50ish) so we can establish the order, and migrate to the new room.

The room will open around 6 as usual.

It's not just when I host. The same thing happened last night at ALMS, and that's why we're talking about it now.
