The Rolex Sports Car Series, Season 3! Finished! Thanks Everyone!

Now on to Nurburgring GP/F. A track I've never really been good at.

Flashback last year...Shinshiki wins in DP at Nurb. :D

I really liked last night's race, I just wanted to do a clean race and I did it; I didn't spun a single time. I was happy I ended the race just 12 seconds behind Polar, I was expecting to be around 30 seconds behind or so.

Also, I was watching the replay and realized I took a very annoying, ultra-defensive driving line when cnd tried to overtake me on the first laps.

You ran an excellent race man. Your car looked way more stable than it did back at Daytona. No problem on the defensive line. I would be doing the same thing

I actually won at Nurburgring the season before that too. It's been by luck both times. Ant disconnected the first time. That was my first race in the Rolex series.

Hey, it was more than luck last season. It was great tire management.

I'll get some times in tomorrow. I wanted to today but I was just so tired. I came back home and my wife pointed straight to the yard. 👎

Also, I seem to be having troble with viewing the pictures in the OP. Anyine know which version of the Ring we are running?

Seems like GT5 has become beta for GT6.

I believe so too. Doesn't matter though, gt6 is still half a light year away.

But, we have a race this week! This may be the last one before a week break. Or whatever weekend thanksgiving is....

Oh yeah I forgot to ask, because I missed Fuji and theres an option to drop a race does this mean It doesn't matter as much?

Nope. You can just drop Fuji. I'll take the lowest points race from everyone, and get rid of it at the end of the season.

GTs could drop as low as the 2:04's in a fight, I reckon. The track's somewhat narrow and undeniably bumpy, the corners are tricky, and the elevation change makes it difficult to find safe opportunities to attack..... and that's all I'm gonna say for now. ;)

Depending on where I qualify, I usually like to let all the commotion happen into turn one and pick my way through traffic. There really is no good place to be except for the very back.

I can see it now. Green light, turn 1 caution. Go around twice, green lap, turn 1 caution. Rinse and repeat the entire race.

My approach for the first corner is to just sit back and not worry about losing a few places. I'd rather drop back a little rather than drop back a lot because of a crash.

Exactly. If you start at the back, the impatient people in the middle can wreck themselves.
