The 'September speculation' discussion thread? (No car suggestions)

I'd like to see a group of cars added that would keep me busy in the livery editor. The last batch didn't have any cars that I consider, good livery editor "food".

If there are going to be classic muscle cars from GT6 included in the update, I would guess these cars to be included most likely:
  • Chevrolet Camaro Z28 '69
  • Chevrolet Corvette Coupe (C2) '63
  • Chevrolet Corvette StingRay Racer Concept '59
  • Chevrolet El Camino SS 396 '67
  • Chevrolet Nova SS '70
  • Ford MK IV '67 (not really a muscle car but an old American race car)
  • Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe '64
  • Shelby GT350 '65
I chose these cars because they are premium cars from manufactures we already have in the game. Cars like the Plymouth AAR Cuda, XNR Ghia, Olds Toronado, and the Pontiac Trans Am are less likely to be included right away because those brands are currently not in the game.

Yes. A classic F1 car, F3, LMP2, Porsche’s 911 Cup etc. would all be great. And of course a Porsche 962 would also have literally hundreds of replica livery possibilities.

you can see only road cars in you garage how ? I had to miss it

Just press the top left button and Select By Category. Once selected, you can choose whatever class you want.

The example above has only N300 road cars.

I'd like to see them add to the mission challenges. It seems like they were just forgot about after day 1. The 1 lap miracle missions in GT4 were always my favorite, maybe they could add some of those.

On that note, what's a good street circuit that should come into GTS?

Real world I would say Long Beach. I quite like it from Forza.

I would like Adelaide F1 too but that is impossible. Most street circuits otherwise arent too good. I seem to remember some OK ones from Indycar...

I cant think of any fictional street circuits in PD or Forza's past... maybe r246?

Fictional
Hong Kong (supremely biased cause I live there)
New York was decent

Real world
Monaco (you got to have that one)

Fictional street tracks e.

They could bring back Special Stage Route 5 and 11, Rome Circuit (for a bonus give us a updated version of Rome Night from GT2), Opera Paris/George V Paris, and Seattle Circuit too.

But I want Route 5 and 11 to return.
Sport mode races in Opera Paris would be a cluster****.

(No car suggestions) *hmm ill post car suggestions*

Seattle is the one track I miss the most! Fond memories of racing in gt4 with the mustang cobra svr on it having the time of my life!!!

I really want more pd decals as they just don't have enough. I've already mentioned what id like to see and this i would add to it. Also some sort of better AI and maybe a way of doing aero packages to transform an N car to maybe a gt4 car. Gt3 is maybe too much of a push

I would love to have paintable Windows.

If they would implement it, you would have the possibility to create your own windscreen banner and Rear window Banner. Aswell as putting racing numbers and Names on the side windows like in the WTCC and V8 Supercars series.

The Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 by Schulze Motorsport already have a painted rearwindow and a rear window banner.

So the odds aren't that bad that we could get paintable Windows. I'm really hoping for it!

Unfortunately I go off the thinking that if it something as simple as that, we would have it by now!

:odd: Really? I've done a few liveries on that car and not come accross it. You sure you're not mixing it up with one of the cars in that class that has a solid panel rather than glass, like the Mazda?

If we get paintable windows there will be a flood of Pixar Cars liveries...

It's all I want :

Repair Lobby mode :
- qualifying session available (with timer or number of attempt for example)
- adding "FIA" penalties in lobby settings (for training)
- fix HUD in spectator mode (time / tyres indicator / possibility to view all settings of a car like traction control, abs, fuel map etc.)
- fix the "#999" bug with the Manufacturer numberplate

Solo mode :
- possibility to choose the car of your opponents in custom race and assign them a livery

Adding more events in GT League :
- events with starting grid (an qualifying session eventually) or not a rolling start with 100 meters between all cars
- championship events (with credits bonus if you win the title)

Evolve the mileage shop :
- race-cars (or road-cars) with custom/special liveries (in addition to the Gr.3-B road car and safety-car)
- more helmets
- more stickers

No cars or track, just try to "fix" the actual game ! But with the end of the FIA season coming, I dont' think we will have an update until the second-half of september (maybe october).

Add 'Special car function' buttons.
These could be used for e.g.
  • Lights on safety cars
  • DRS and KERS on Mercedes F1
  • Horns on street cars
  • Opening/closing the roof on convertible cars
Each car could have up to two of these functions, and you can map 'Special 1' and 'Special 2' to your controller.

Race interiors & bucket seats.

Aftermarket steering wheels & seat belts.

Race brake upgrade (essential with extra power).

Rear wings & splitters.

Official aftermarket kits and tuner stores.

Basically anything that lets us visually upgrade our cars with official parts.

I don't think GT Sport will ever feature visual upgrades like wings and splitters. Also, aftermarket steering wheels sound cool also but more realistically I think PD would bring back the aftermarket gauges from GT6. My guess would be that you could buy different gauges like a tach, temp, boost, etc. and in different colors from the Mileage Exchange.
