I keep trying to quit and keep failing at it. I stared smoking when I worked in Real Estate a few years back. I started with Hookah and then went to cigars and then to cigarettes. I genuinely like the taste of tobacco, so it's hard for me to quit.
I still smoke a few cigars here and there, mostly Don pepin Garcia blue labels. Such a good smoke.
Hey Solid, how are the Sancho Panzas? You seem to really like them.
Sancho Panzas (brown ring) are my current favorite! They are excellent. Very peppery, earthy and meaty flavors which I love so much. Smooth and very complex, too. Never harsh at all and you'll taste a lot of different flavors depending how far you're into the cigar. Wood, leather, black coffee and some spice as well from time to time. I rate them very highly!
It's a medium bodied cigar, which is why I bought the Extra Feurtes (Extra Strong, red ring). They're a full bodied cigar, but not as good. Still, good though, but I have other full bodied cigars I like better, like the Flor De A. Allones in the pic above.
You should try a 5-pack of SP's. Cheap and very tasty. I don't like the Double Maduro (gold ring) ones, though. Too sickly-sweet for me. I don't care for overly sweet cigars. I like them dry, earthy, peppery, meaty and salty. Henry Clay's (Dominican ones) are my favorite, too. But, they can be a bit harsh at times. It's a gentle puffing cigar or it will overpower your palate with harshness and bitterness. But, all cigars will be like that if you 'hot-box it."
Oh, the Sanch Panza Matadors are EXCELLENT, too. Don't taste the same as the SP cigars, but they are super good for a fast, quick smoke. Not as smooth as the cigars, but that's small cigarillos for you. Strong suckers, too!
I've never had a Don Pepin Garcia Blue, but I want to try one. I heard they were very good.
