I actually drink the non-caffeinated and non-sugar coke more than the real thing. I also love Mountain Dew, but only from the bottle. The can version just tastes...off/different 🤷‍♂️

“There is only one pop, and it does not share power.” - Mithrandir/ Dr. Pepper.

I'm keto now so finding it quite hard to find something cold to drink that's not full of sugar and also not full of artificial sweteeners. Coke used to do a "green" version I think with Stevia but don't think anyone bought it.

I used to have a conversation years ago that went along the lines of “if you had to ultimately choose beer or pop, what would it be?”

I always agreed on pop. But I don’t drink it anymore at all. I guess beer won in the end.

The only time I ever drink pop now is when there’s now beer available.

There is a French version tasting exactly the same, that I discovered decades ago, even before inka Kola
... I just can't remember the name, if there are any French person here who can remember... I believe it came in a dark red color can (it's not Dr Pepper)

Mountain Dew has three limited edition flavors out. I've got Liberty Chill and Star Spangled Splash, but haven't found Freedom Fusion yet.

Couronne? That's the haitian version of Inca Kola. Maybe Royal Soda?

Doing a lot of Fanta Grape this vacation.

I sure miss San Pellegrino Blood Orange (Aranciata Rossa). About ten years ago that used to be my favourite.

Blood orange is amazing, I don’t know why is isn’t more widespread.

Have to mention Oronamin C, it’s quite an old Japanese drink marketed as a health and energy drink due to its vitamin content, particularly vitamin C. It has a sweet and tangy flavor, with a slight fizz. The only complaint I have is that the bottle is super tiny.

Trying a couple flavors I saw at the store: Dr Pepper Blackberry, and 7-Up Tropical. BlackBerry is my favorite berry, so that was a no-brainer. It works well with a peppery soda like Dr Pepper. 7-Up Tropical is mango and peach flavored (only one of those is tropical, but I’ll let it slide.) I like that one, too. I’m glad both were released in Zero Sugar variants.

I happen to have a Dr. Pepper in my fridge. One that I picked up at the weekend. It’s full sugar. I don’t like the zero sugar varieties of any pop.

Even though it's situational (Coke with burgers and pizzas, Sprite for hangovers, 7up for flavoured syrups, Cherry Coke with movie popcorn, etc.), I'm a sucker for that artificial grape flavor in Welch's, Crush, Safeway Select, etc., and Thai Fanta (red and green). 🤤

Coke Zero for 99% of the time, but this is some serious stuff. The label says 16% lemon juice but I wouldn't in the least surprised if that's an understatement, it feels like it dissolves your teeth and everything else on the way to the stomach. Definitely not your usual "lemon soda" which is Sprite or Seven Up or some other sugar water with a distant citrus flavour.

what!?!

sugars are great!

i mean not for us... but they're great!

wait, is sugar, plastic?

i like these usually but am also not super picky...

Dr.pepper
Coke (also a dr.pepper where im from)
root beer (any brand really)
NOS ( i didnt see if energy drinks count but its like 3 sodas at once...super soda?)
big red (every like 5th-6th july 4th, i have to get one)
MOuntain dew
7up

out of that list i probably will have a dr.p or a NOS more often than not, and i know as an adult i really need to stop... but maybe just maybe the drinks will stop it for me?

I have gotten to that age where i will realize that what i actually have a craving for is just water though... how weird.
