We did pre-season runs in the 111R at suzuka east before s2 started!

(I'm on a roll with this pic today)

Yes we did, but that was prior to tuning the car to the current spec. Haha. Booom.

Right, its taken me a little longer than usual to sort the results out from last night. There were a couple of incidents which required looking into.

Goodwolf/NOMAD81 incident, lap 16 race 2. Goodwolf led the race on the SS tyres until lap 24 when he pitted. On lap 15 he approached teh_lotus's car, which was being driven by NOMAD81. As NOMAD was going to be lapped, he should have let GW pass safely, but it appears that he continued to race him. Goodwolf was flashing his lights to indicate he was going to lap NOMAD, for the entire remains of the lap, and into lap 16. There were several opportunity's to let Goodwolf pass, but no room was given. Eventually there was contact and Goodwolf spun, resulting in him hitting his PS button and his car came to a stop for several seconds. NOMAD continued, but by then Goodwolf had lost a big chunk of time.

I have decide to award Goodwolf a time compensation for this incident, and give him joint 4th place in race 2.

NOMAD joined the race at late notice, and may not of been aware of the rules on page 1 of this thread, which explains the regs regarding being lapped. He will not pick up any points for this race as a result of this incident [

Good move I think it's right to do that ... I feel really sorry for GoodWolf :(

And I've already started to train on Suzuka East ends up on a 00.52.xxx ... need to do better !!

Agreed.

And now get ready for Suzuka East ... Let's see you beat a 00.45.961. :mischievous: Yeah Baby!

Had a few runs tonight using the Madrid set up. Had to increase top speed to 160 mph, as ran out of legs before T1. Maybe have to go a bit more with slipstream. This will be a totally different race to Madrid, with overtaking opportunity's down the straight before T1 and the esses. Fastest lap I managed was a 00:50.334, but I think 49's are a possibility with a few more laps, and maybe high 48's with slip. This gives me enough info to do the lap counts. Im gonna have a few laps tomorrow from 8.30 if anyones about, feel free to join. 👍👍👍

Great fun tonight at Suzuka east. 6 racers turned in for time on the sport soft tyre. We ran 5 races of 6 laps each. I think my estimations of high 48's was a little bit optimistic, so I will revise that down to high 49's with slip. The car does feel great here, but its a different track to Madrid, with much higher speeds, so practice will be paramount. The times were very close after this first practice, with most racers into the 50's. This weekend sees practice and racing for Goodwolfs Maserati Cup, so SC practicing will resume next week.

Hi guys, is there a practice session tomorrow (Sunday) eve?

Fuel, I will be on most nights next week getting some track time, so I may catch you then.

Jammy, tomorrow is Goodwolfs Maserati race, and there is room on the grid if you would like to join us, the link is in my sig. As I mentioned above, I will be practicing for the Suzuka race most evenings next week and of course next Friday and Saturday.

Hi Ade, I've had a look for your signature and can't seem to find a link to the Maserati racing - maybe it's because I'm using a mobile app version of GT Planet. Could you possibly post a link for me please?

Many thanks!

This weekend see's the 5th event in SC Reloaded, and the 2nd in the 111R. Suzuka East is the venue, and the lap count has been worked out. Weekday practicing will start from tomorrow at 8.30pm, so if anyone wants any extra laps before the weekend, you know where to come.

See you tomorrow

Great practice tonight saw 7 racers turn up for times, and 7 new fastest laps for them. Weescotman broke into the 49's during free run before the 6 lap races we ran, with no slip. Tyre wear is going to be heavier than we have seen yet at this track, and come race day, 2 stop strategy' may well come into play. More practice tomorrow from 8.30pm.

Was thinking about the pits and the time lost is about 35-40secs. So I think it will depend on how long we can stay in the 50-51 area on the softs. Should be interesting at any rate!

Hawk eye GC Gary noticed I had made a mathematical error on the lap count for the Suzuka race. For the main race, I had accidentally worked out the minimum lap count for the medium tyre at one third of the race distance, when it should have been 25%. I have rejigged the graphic to show the correct lap count now. I must of had one of those :dunce: moments. The new lap count is 2 laps shorter than the previous graphic, but the amount of laps you would need to do on the SS tyre has increased to 39, with the minimum amount on the SM at 13.

I will be online again tonight from 8.30, if anyone wants to join.

What a great practice tonight. Not only did we run some super hot laps, we learnt how to smoke a pipe in French, and we went to a gaybar. The banter was awesome, and so were the laps. New fastest times were set, and Cobani added his time to the table too. Hasslemoffs time is include below, in blue text as he wasnt present during the runs tonight. I seem to have found myself at the top again, but im not sure if I can hold onto the pace setter position for long. The next practice will be on Friday at 8.30pm.
