Im sure if you use my lounge then someone may pop in. I am practicing for Turbonators Alfa race tonight, but if I have time afterwards may do a few laps of Suzuka.

Thanks for the racing tonight gents. I was a bit later than planned but at least got a feel for the track. Stayed for another 15 mins after and managed a couple of 50.8s and got to a 50.6 so at least I'm in the ballpark now. :)

We only ran 4, 5 lap races last night, but that was enough for Jammy to get a feel for the track, and Capt Gary to sneak in a new PB. Jammy's time below is what I had on the replay, but as his above post says, he is in the 50's as well as the rest of us. Practice tonight will see the first runs using the Sport medium tyre. Lobby will be open from 8.30 pm.

Great practice. We all thouht that the low 50's were the super fast times. That was until Hasslemoff showed us how it was done. Awesome time. We also practiced on the SM tyre, and the fastest time set was 00:51.503 by Cobani.

There will be 1 more session tomorrow, if anyone wants to join, but it will only be for about 1 hour from 8.30pm. If not, race ya all Sunday. 👍👍👍

Practice is finished for tomorrows race. New fastest times are shown in blue text. Capt Gary managed to crack into the 49's, and special guest Geordie managed to get into the very low 50's after only a few races. Race you all tomorrow. 👍👍👍

Suzuka East course awaits us this evening. Tyre strategys could play a huge part in tonights race. Will it be a 2 stop strategy for the victor, or can the tyres last with just 1 stop?

I had to submit my Master Thesis this week, so I never got around to fix my brake pedal, only thing I did so far was Open up the cover and spray some contact cleaner into the brake potentiometer. It the problem persists I will skip out on race two, but Ill definitely partake in race 1. Haven't touched the 111R since the last SC2 race and not touched the PS3 at all in the last weeks so it will be interesting if I can keep up.

Just a reminder about being lapped tonight. Lapping drivers flash your lights, and drivers being lapped, please give room at the earliest safe moment, so we can avoid any inquiries. Thanks guys, and see you in the lobby soon. 👍👍👍

Great racing everyone. Dont think ive had to concentrate that hard, ever! It was very hard to pass at Suzuka East, but there was some super racing. Podium time is here again, and for the second time in as many races, I can enjoy the champagne again. Awesome racing guys. Full results will be up tomorrow. Cheers. 👍👍

Fantastic night of racing gents. The first race for me went really well. Starting 5th on the grid after Quali, I managed to get past Third quite early on, and was surprised when I took 3rd place from Cobani, after he made a rare mistake. The rest of the race was spent concentrating very hard to keep Weescotman from closing the gap. It was hard work keeping up with Capt_D and Hasslemoff, but I managed to cross the line just over second behind the winner to take the final step of the podium,

Race 2, starting towards the back of the grid got of to a rocky start in T1, and continued into T2. Watching the replay its hard to see what happened, as there were quite a few cars that got bumped, and quite a few went off. Maybe it was the result of faster drivers coming into the turn from the back of the grid, which caused the bottleneck, coupled with the different choices of tyre drivers started the race on. This will have to go down as a racing incident, but we must be aware of this at the next race, and show some restraint in the second race. I got through the incident with some careful braking and continued in 7th place, managing to get up to 5th, battling with Cobani, until I took too much kerb after T2 on lap 7. This resulted in a spin, and I rejoined in 10th place after waiting for traffic to pass. I stayed on the medium tyre until lap 23, then enjoyed some real good laps, with several great battles. By lap 38, I had worked my way back up to 6th place, until I spun out a second time going into T1. Very enjoyable racing, even though I couldnt repeat my success of race 1.

Now for the results....

This final event of SCR is to be held at Nurb GP/D. It will be the last Sunday Cup event on GT5. Thank you gents for making this the series it is. 👍👍👍

Yes! The racing at Suzuka was excellent, it always is in the Sunday Cup, and both races were intense and rewarding. So much was going on with a close finish with Paul (Hasslemoff) in each of them.

Congratulations to Paul for his win and podium, and to Dave (Turbonato) and Ade (Ade) for theirs. 👍👍:)

Right! you know the drill by now, some first race pictures.

Great Pictures Gary 👍

Great racing again, keep forgeting how much fun the car is espicially in close racing.

Well done Gary, Ade and Turbonator for the Podiums and Gary for the first win 👍.

Hopefully if there is room Ill try and make the next race.

I had to change my tune after Friday's practice as it was quick but I found it very tricky in traffic so I made it a bit more safe, slower but it was easier following in traffic on SM tyres and when the SS tyres were worn a bit.

Hopefully if there is room Ill try and make the next race.

Im sure there will be room for you Paul, and it would be awesome for you to join us for this final Sunday Cup event on GT5.

I would like to bring up the driver standings as we begin the countdown for this final set of races. Capt_D has stretched out his lead in the standings, with a 24 point lead over Goodwolf, and 30 points ahead of Cobani. Cobani will setting Goodwolfs 6 point lead, 2nd place in the standings firmly in his sights.

With a maximum of 32 points left to race for, the championship title will go down to the final event.

Myself, Weescotman, Fuelmyfire, and Third_reign are still in the running to try and grab the 3rd place position, or possibly for some, 2nd place. Tensions will be running high, and this last Sunday Cup event at Nurburgring GP/D looks like its going to be a thriller. Practice sessions will be held weeknights from next Monday, so I can work out the lap count. Race ya soon guys. 👍👍👍

Did some laps there 3-4 weeks back, after Madrid, the car felt great. Can't remember what times myself, capt D and fuel managed to put in. I have a few replays so if I get on I will have a look, just for you. :D
