Just ran a few laps with Rosen in the S Cup R. Man this car will take some taming, as it has some of the characteristics of previous SC cars, but it will bite you if you overcook it. Great fun at Brands Indy though. First practice sessions will be tomorrow from 8.30pm. Short race practice on SS tyre, but we do need to test the tyre change, as Petros has experienced some slippery glitch with tyre changing in race.

For those who are already in the S-License section or have done some online Pitstop racing should have experienced but here it is anyways:

A changed tyre, even to same compound, drastically loses grip. On the Apricott Hill S-event it was up to 2s a lap!

I've experienced it myself as well. Brands Hatch GT500 S-Event i can do a 1:23.xxx in traffic with early braking to avoid collisions, then after my pitstop on open track best I can do is a 1:25.xxx.

Also, having spoken with Dan about wheels, and also taking into account Third's comment on the wing I have made a couple of changes to the car requirements.

Yes mate, I think standard is just the normal floor. Type A gives a larger diffuser at the rear.

Sorry I went off so quickly,had some other plans to.

Online physics is so much better.First I drived in arcade mode and car was really tricky to drive.
I couldn't drive with abs off even when I set my BB on 1/0...must try it online.

I only tried medium tires and did low 50 for now.
Maybe I join you early tonight.

This happened to me with Ade initially. Turns out, if a friend request is accepted once the room is open the game doesn't register you as official buddies. The room has to be remade, then the error won't occur.

So I'm currently stranded and can't use GT6. It appears my BR laser can't read dual layer BR discs anymore or more precisely struggles with them. The game seems to work fine except for it wont load tracks and the demo mode at all. I'm currently pondering what the best method is to fix the issue, a new BR laser would be the best course of action, I just don't know where to get a truly new unit. Most Amazon reviews state that the advertised "new" units show sign of previous usage. Any of you have any ideas?

Or if funds allow, just buy a new PS3. Super slim 12GBs are well cheap, and you can just swap you HD over.

Yeah it was great fun. Awesome banter as usual, especially regarding Wills extra aero advantage (pictured below). We also learned that if you change tyre compounds in the race, you will still be on that compound for the next. Im going to run another session tonight from 8.00pm.

Great last practice of the weekend. Some new times set below, showed underlined. Tiggles shaved even more time off. Im really loving watching back through the replays to get the times, and seeing all the purple sectors coming up. Need some time to get on with some offline play Mon and Tues, so next practice will be on Wednesday.
