Thank you for the company Petros.

I had some problems with heavy oversteer when I brake or lift off. Reduced the oversteer by decreasing the brake bias down to 2-1, but then I coulndn't brake so late when entering the bends...
Did some reading about MR's physics problems (?) in GT6 and took notice about a general setting that should solve the problem. I reduced rear toe and hey! Now I have better control over the car. And I'm also able to increase the brake bias.

I have discovered the new features when you watch a race. Really cool to switch cameras and it feels like there are some kind of "on-board camera filter". Very nice. :)

See if I can make it to the practice tonight, Mrs Rosen is away and left me in charge of putting our three kids in bed...

Yes,oversteer.Had a same problem, tryed different things till Ade and co. told me they setup. The biggest diffference was rear toe...
But even with good setup you must be really carefull with throtle. The key here is not to release it fully.
Tonight I will be testing wheel sizes since I read the bigger wheels had less grip.

I haven't gotten around to try any fixes for the disc read troubles I have with gt6 currently, so my participation in this weekends race is a bit questionable at the moment. I'm pondering about ordering a new Laser unit for the disc drive or if I should simply buy a new PS3 and salvage the old HDD. The 12GB Super Slims are quite cheap currently, cheaper than an official repair at least. A new Laser is obviously the cheapest solution, just my last do it yourself repair on a TV screen didn't work out so well.

That was exactly what I did when my fat PS3 suffered the same fate. The 12 gig superslims dont have an actual HDD in them, its just internal memory. Just make sure you have all the game save data saved to a usb stick, to transfer over when your drive has formatted in the new PS, if thats what you decide to do. The super slims also dont have a HDD caddy, so you have to wedge something beside the drive once you have put it in.

Awesome mid week practice saw 5 of us turn up for times. Some super close racing on the SS tyre. Improvements all round, but the biggest was from Rosen, who is almost into the 48's. Tomorrow's runs will use both the SS, and SM tyres, and Friday will see some longer runs with pit stops to see how the tyres behave after changing them. I returned my car to standard rims for tonights practice, and can report no real change in the handling characteristics of the Elise. Tomorrows practice will run from 8.00pm til 10.00pm.

Great practice, combined with a strange quiz tonight, saw some great battles. We only ran on the SS tyre, as there were some connection issues. It did seem it was related to the latest update which gifted the GTR, as I got a system freeze after turning on my PS tonight. Once we got going there were some new fastest laps, which are the unerlined times below. Friday will see 14 lap mini races with tyre change, to see if the tyre bug affects our race. 8.00pm til late tomorrow gents.

Awesome practice tonight, saw 8 racers turn in for times. The 14 lap tyre change races didnt throw up any tyre anomalies, so Sundays races will go ahead with pit stop/tyre change. I havont been able to view tonights replays yet, but I do know Captain Tiggles did set a new fastest lap of 48.3xx late in the proceedings.

Sundays event will consist of.

Race 1.

20 laps sport soft tyre

Race 2.

Reverse grid from race 1

60 laps. sport soft and sport medium. Minimum 15 laps on sport medium.

Last practice session tomorrow from 8.00pm.

Ade you can take me off the race I'm not doing the Lotus race this year ... we will meet again in the 500pp club :) Have a good year and a happy Christmas :gtpflag:

OK Third, you will be missed tomorrow. Race you again soon mate, and also the same to Damon. Im sure that Nomad will be taking your place in future Sunday Cup races. Last practice tonight gents, and we will continue with 10 lap races tonight, starting with the SS tyres.

Ive just viewed last nights replays, and didnt save the race in which Capt Tiggles got the 48.3, but we know it was there as it showed as the fastest lap when back on track. Some other new records also set during the evening are underlined. Race you at 8.00 gents.👍👍👍

Some great laps in last nights final practice. It was great to see Cobani, in his first online practice.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
We also learnt that using after market wheels does affect the grip, and also the tyre degradation of the rear tyres. Once everyone had reverted back to original wheels, grip was increased, and lap times came down. So its important that racers refit the original wheels before entering the lobby tonight. You can see the clear difference in tyre width below. Left image is original rims, right being aftermarket.

Hi guys, please accept my apologies as I'm not going to be able to make the race tonight. I've just moved house and my broadband service will not be up and running in time - in fact I've been told it won't be until mid Jan! Hope you all have a great race, gutted to miss out on brands hatch!
