Do these offial practices get quite busy Ade? Wouldn't mind poking my head in to make the numbers up otherwise ;)

Awesome final Sunday practice tonight saw 9 racers on track. The racing was close as ever, and it gave us a feel as what this race will be like with a full grid. Some new records were set, but I wont get to view the replays until tomorrow. One week left guys, and I will try to be online during the week for additional practice. Next Friday and Sat will be the last official sessions, and I will keep you posted on lobby times.

@Captain Roh, feel free to join us whenever your on mate.

Also, has anyone lost a cat? In New Zealand. :D

I have viewed the replays, including the runs we did on Saturday to get the new times. It was great fun with lots of cars on the grid, and the racing last night was awesome.

One thing that was mentioned, was the first turn (copse). Going slightly wide here, sometimes cannot be avoided, but it can give you a faster exit. Whilst its not always going to be possible to get this turn right everytime, and sometimes we will go slightly wide, this must not be taken advantage of in the race on Sunday. So, No overtaking other cars if we do get it slightly wide, and no continuous going wide lap after lap.

Final official practice sessions will be held on Friday and Saturday, when we will get to test the comfort soft tyres. Also, I would like to try various different room settings, ranging from voice chat off/ very low/ low to see if we have any connection issues. Zero Cup tonight had chat set to off, and there were no connection issues.

First time practice for me last night. Really enjoyed it . Great to be back in the fold! I was still trying to fine tune my lines, but I hear what you are saying about the first turn. Will be making extra effort to nail that turn without going wide.

One other thing, how do you alter the brake balance, can't seem to find it on the menus! Cheers!
 
Great little impromptu practice with Will and Gary tonight. I managed to crack into the 07's, and Gary threw in a stormer, which should start to worry Will. Official practice will be Friday and Saturday, but if I do get a chance during the week, I will open a lobby. All recorded in replay times count, so if i'm online, feel free to join. Only 5 days left guys, Woo Hoo.

I ain't worried, I know me and Gary can run side by side for the whole track. Lol I will say this tho for the other drivers that ain't been on since the update, the grip levels have changed, be interesting to see how the comfort soft tyres get on. If anyone's about I may run a few laps later on, so are more than welcome to join.

Did some running on the comfort soft, well nearly 40 laps, seems like you could run on these all day there's hardly any drop off. And like gt5 there about 2 seconds slower, noticed going into the corners there's far less bite, but not much difference exiting the corners, altho that's probably just me.
 
Thank you @Fuelmyfire, @socalspeedfreak and @Cobani for the driver pics, I will be getting the podium pics updated today. Only 2 days to go, and tonights final Friday practice will be open from 8.30pm. We will start with some warm up races on the SH tyre, and during the evening change over to the CS tyre.

Awesome final Friday runs tonight. 9 on track again, and some super close racing. We warmed up with the SH tyre, before changing to the CS. After a few 5 lappers, we ran some 10 lap races with a pit stop at 7. Tomorrow is the last chance to get some online laps before S4 kicks off on Sunday. Here we go again gents. Its nearly here.

Hey Ade, I know its a bit late to be asking this but i only noticed this last night when i was changing the oil in the Elan. Under the change oil option in GT Auto it gives an Improve Body Rigidity option, I'm guessing we haven't decided to use it. I only ask as I didn't know it was still in GT6 and I haven't seen anything about it.

Im not sure if it is the same as it was in GT5 as it isnt done in the weight reduction upgrade. I have only used the restore body rigidity when using the pit service. It will be down to personal preference whether it is used or not.

Alright thats grand, I won't be using it tonight anyway, I may look into it for Monaco then.
 
OK racers, the time has come. Tonight see's the start of Sunday Cup IV! After the last few evenings practice, testing different lobby settings, the lobby will be set to open, with race quality set to standard and mic chat quality set to very low. The racing timetable is below, along with the rules and regs of the lobby. Last nights practice runs will be viewed this afternoon, and new times updated. See you all tonight.

I have added this to my post above.

It may also help if everyone makes sure that they have all racers on their PSNs. I have never suffered from drivers being invisible to me. Just another thought to help with the room tonight.

Sorry I havnt posted a Picture I forgot :dunce:.

Ive not ran any laps yet but if I can get up to speed and there is any room am I able to join. Its always handy that you post lap times :cheers:.
