Hi Ade, is there any room tonight.
Sorry I havnt posted a Picture I forgot :dunce:.

Ive not ran any laps yet but if I can get up to speed and there is any room am I able to join. Its always handy that you post lap times .

Hi Paul. There may be room, as I havnt heard from Northlander and Linus, so if the lobby isnt full by 8.30pm I will invite reserve drivers onto the grid. Benchmark for the time on SH is a 1:07.681 set by Weescotman. CS seem to be around the 1:09 mark.

It's on! Like donkey Kong, ;-) Laters guys will be O the for about half 8ish.

The final practice session has been watched, and new fastest times updated. We have a new pace setter in PETROS. Just have to hope that the connection works out tonight, as this is shaping up to be a really close contest.
Sunday Cup race 1 practice times.

Sport hard tyre.

Well, that's it:(

I saw everyone on track but something had to happend.DC'd from lobby and PSN,came back asap and race was on 35sec till start.Couldn't enter a track.Didn't even won't to bother with new start or anything like it since we had problem from begining...

I wont be racing anymore for a while in GT6 until they fixed a lot of things.Sorry guys:guilty:

I hope all of you have a nice championship with minimum connection problems.
Don't worry, I'll be reading you:)

Cheers

Well, what a race. After a tricky start, with connection issues, it was looking like it was going to be a full 16 car grid for the first time in Sunday Cup history. After delaying the race for 12 minutes, and reducing the laps to to allow for time restraints, we had 16, but Petros suffered a DC with minutes to go, and when he rejoined, he couldnt get on track. So we ended up with 15 starters. The busiest starting grid we have seen for a full race. Great racing was had over 48 laps, but more on that tomorrow. Now its time to celebrate the top 3. Well done gents, Champagne time for the first race of Sunday Cup IV.

Great racing yesterday with @weescotman. Intens from start to finish, loved every lap!
This race will be added to my "Classic" -list, great racecraft Will.

@Goodwolf was lurking for the first part, great tension!

Also credit to every driver present. The Sunday Cup SIV is looking good!

Shame about the connection issues. We all did everything we could, but still it was frustrating for some. Unfortunately

I always learned to end a story positive, Pic of the Day is done. It sucks, you'll love it. ;)

Congrats Bo on your win, great drive :-)

I had fun, really enjoyed race. I'd only had the one single practice session last week, so my preparation was not ideal, but despite that I'm satisfied with how it went. Well, I stayed out on the comfort tyres for about 4 laps too long though, who has meant the difference between finishing 8th (which I did ) and 6th (which I could have).

I spent a large part of the race with Ade a few seconds behind me (but nearly a lap ahead of me after I'd changed tyres) , but to my satisfaction I managed to keep the gap, & even extend it a touch, as the race went on I seemed to get more comfortable. I had fun chasing down some of the other racers towards the end, & was closing down scholesy and Ade in the last few laps, if I'd had one or two more laps (or if it was the original race distance) I reckon I could have got a them! In fact, I was rather looking forward to having the opportunity of re-passing scholesy after a rather "robust" pass on me that he made earlier in the race... ! ;-)

Thanks again Ade for hosting and organising, I think S4 has got off to a cracking start!

Ps - Ade, you used to include the fastest lap by each driver in the results graphics - do you think you could reinstate this as I always found that an interesting comparison. ? Thanks! :-)

That was a mere flesh wound compared to the a*** rape I got first lap, and off Rosen trying to unlap himself later, no worries peeps.;)

Wouldn't have been in the vicinity either last lap if my race had gone smoother also.:sly:

Gave Nomad (Paul) a little love tap coming out of luffield also, but only cos he started to lag on me up the back straight and round that complex, it was just as we battled to pit which I felt bad about but unavoidable.

Realised I'm gonna save replays from now on to hone my lines and braking from the top boys, some techniques the same some different. Did notice the mileage some of you have clocked up on the Elan........umm.

When are we practising Monaco! Now now now!

Great racing guys, enjoyed every minute, feel bad for the guys with connection issues, hopefully it will improve.

Wow! Amazing first race, from start to finish. This is the most drivers I've ever raced on track at one time. Won't lie a was crapping it, lol got off the line well, bit of commotion but dodged that and went after Bo and Goodwolf, we managed to pull a gap until Goodwolf lost the slip, then me and Bo had the best race side by side maybe the odd bump here but it never slowed us down. We both had the same idea for lap 36,only bo's worked out better for him, we pitted nose to tail, then I got held up as someone else pitted, emerged from the pits 4 seconds behind Bo, started to catch him but I didn't use the draft from other cars to the best I could have. Awesome race win cobani, well done hasslemoff, and Adrian for what looks to be another amazing cup.

Well do Bo, Weescotman and everyone great race 👍.

A big sorry to Dowlin for my great start :yuck::dunce:.

I think Bo has a magic for pit stop's, I was 8 seconds behind before the pit stops but came out 11 secs behind .

I'm sorry for the push Scholesy!

Socal: Great sportmanship on first lap, thanks for letting me pass after the incident at the beginning of the finishing straight.

you're welcome Rosen:cheers:. those are the sporting rules and as this is suppose to be a gentlemen series i'm trying to show my respect. i had damage from the left hander after the long straight and could not control the car well enought to stay clear of you. my aplogies. now who was it that walloped me in that corner :ouch:? i had to leave for a superbowl party and did not watch the replay. pressing to hard to make up time i ruined my own race from there anyway.:banghead:

As said, no worries mate, should have really let you go to get on with your race, all my thoughts were on hunting nomad down so where you exited pits from the pits I was on full catch up mode. 👍

Feel for so-cal, he got battered at the beginning a bit. I got smacked into him after the back straight left hander, and that did for us both really.

When's next practice....again?

Hey so-cal, not me geezer!

OK, ive had a busy night going through the replay, to collect all the data. It seems there was some contact on lap 1, which saw a few cars leave the track. Its hard to tell who was to blame, as there were 3 involved, all trying to take the corner at once.

Dowlin had completed 10 laps before his disconnection, and for this he will receive DC points of 4. This is worked out on his qualifying position divided in half, and halved again as it happened before the middle of the race. It was such a shame to DC occured, as his pace was awesome, and Im sure he would have been battling for a top position.

All in all, it was a great opener though. I had some super battles early on in the race, as Jammy mentioned, I spent several laps trying to chase him down. After my pit stop, I saw Capt_D, storming his way through the field, and by lap 42, I was aware of a presence coming up behind me. I was trying to view the mini map to see what the gap was, as I knew it was getting smaller and smaller. By lap 46, I thought that Sholesy was going to catch me, but I managed to hang on for 6th place.

Anyway, onto the results.

Now gents, its time to restore your engines, and get ready for Monaco. I will try to get on during the week whenever I can, but first official sessions will commence this weekend. Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Hey so-cal, not me geezer!

no worries mate. my lap and track time should have had me in the back of the field after qualifiing anyway. then my two spins just did my race in. i'll be putting more time in for race 2. see you all there.

A nearly full grid at Silverstone was fantastic, a real shame about the connection woes though. Petros' non start in particular was a loss as I thought he had a good chance at a win.

I was surprised to find out after the event that only three of us started on comfort softs. As it turns out, it was the wrong decision because of a much earlier pit for the sport hards and a short lap meant the front runners could pull a healthy lead. Later in the race when people changed to their comfort softs I was able to make up some places, finishing in fourth.

Well done Bo for the win, chasing that third title ;) And well done to Will and Paul for podiums.

Pictures!

Ade connections are the same all over, GBRC had a full grid on Sunday three or four got disconnected at some point in the two races.

Roll on stability, or have they removed that word from the dictionary.
