Good few races last night saw some improvements for several drivers. The 53,s were broken into again, but in free run, so that doesnt go towards the timed races. Capt Gary is still holding the pace, but Will jumped a few places last night, and the gap between them is negligible. More practice again tonight from 8.30pm.

Last nights practice was plagued by internet connection issues. In the end we had to try Capt D's lobby, which seemed to work better, although there were still some problems to start. But we eventually got under way with 8 racers taking part. Rosen added his time to the table, with an impressive 55.757 in the first race. Tonights practice will be hosted by Gary, (GC255) , so make sure you have him on your list if your planning on getting in some laps.

One last thing, Sunday Cup has appeared on the GTPlanet weekly rewind again. Great write up, thank you @Terronium-12 👍👍👍 Check out the link below.

GTPLANET WEEKLY REWIND.

Mind if I come tonight check you guys out? I'm interested in joining.
Ok. Im not hosting tonight, so you will have to add gc255. There are only reserve positions available at this time, so if your still interested then by all means come and give us a try.

You've had the Ok from The Sunday Cup owner. That's good enough for me. I trust you've read the OP and have an Elan '62 built to the correct specification.

Tonights practice turned things on their heads. I didnt think I was going to be free, but my lovely wife allowed me out on Valentines, after we got home.

New racer VELOCI, has raised the benchmark, smashing into the 53's. with some super clean racing. I was also surprised to see myself break the 53 barrier tonight, in clean air.

Last chances to get some laps will be tomorrow, after GC Garys 500pp event.

On the eve of the 2nd Sunday Cup IV race, I would like to take you back to a post I made before we started. Goodwolf and myself came up with a special award which would be given for different achievements during the races. Not just wins, or fastest laps, but for good racecraft, nice moves, best improvements etc. This is the first time this award has been used, and after viewing the replay, and discussing it with GC Gary, the driver who gets this is NOMAD81. His racing in the opener was consistent, and he has improved so much since his first Sunday Cup race with us. Well done Paul. Here is a video of his first lap at Silverstone.

That is excellent, thank you very much. I really do feel honoured, to be given the seal of approval from Ade and Goodwolf, after our first meeting in Madrid, where I ruined Goodwolf's race, it means a great deal to me.
The Sunday Cup is great fun. We all have a great time racing and of course the banter.
I'd also like to thank Damon for giving up the The Sunday Cup so I could race Lotus cars. But also for introducing me to a great bunch of racers from around the world.
Thanks to TheLotusForum for thier support. Yet another 1st for Lotus Cars. which I think is worth a mention on TOPGEAR.

Ade, thanks very much for all the time you've put in to the series. Also to your lovely wife for giving you some time simulate (racing) with us.

Thanks again. :-))))

Final practice has been done. Some super close battles tonight, and some new PB's. NOMAD got his 56, and THEEWAR cracked into the 53's. Its all done now gents. Tomorrow is race day. See you all on the track.

Hello ADE,

Is there a chance to participate at the Sunday Cup races? I would very much like to take part. I have great respect for the rules and for other drivers and am also a big fan of the game. My race number is 77.

Hello. Thanks for showing an interest in Sunday Cup. Only reserve positions are available, and the grid is full for tonights race. The next race is in the 68 Europa, so practicing for that will begin next week. You are welcome to join us for these practice runs, and if there is space on the grid come race day you can enter. Please send a PSN friend request to Ade3210.

Onto tonights race. As we have experienced some connection issues over the last few weeks, tonights race will be held in GC Garys lobby. He has super fast fibre optic broadband, which should give the room a bit more stability, and hopefully everyone will be able to see each other. So if you dont have Gary on your list, please add GC255 before tonight.

Normal lobby opening hours of 20.00 GMT, with 15 min quali at 20.45.

My broadband is being very slow today and last night too. Could'nt get into the lobby for more than a minute before I got disconnected. Crossing my fingers that it remedies itself before the race tonight as its bad all over town.

We will all have our fingers crossed for you mate. As its being held in Garys lobby, it may make connections better, also last night, you didnt have any problems in the 500pp race, which was held in an open lobby, so I will ask Gry to make the room public tonight, and then pot the room number.

I also made a few captures of the races last night as I wanted to show our supporters what the live streams will be like from my perspective. This is the first race of the night, with a lovely pass on Bo at the end of lap 1.

If possible could @theewar and @VELOCI_2NR please send me podium pictures ASAP. Driver only.

Race you all later.
