Erm... That'll be a question for the hostess with the mostest, Mr ade. Only problem I see is you'll be slower, but possibly more stable as the car will be less inclined to try and kill you lol

This race picture has been taken by @CTR Driver . Big thank you!

Monaco was less eventful than I had expected. After getting past Warren (theewar) for second soon after the start, I tried to stay with Veloci, which I did for a few laps, until he pulled an assertive lead and I didn't see him again until he passed me leaving the pits as I came in for the tyre change. A shame about connection issues once again, especially Dudo being disco'd on the 28th lap!

Congratulations to Veloci for the top step and to Warren's third.

Great pictures from GC Gary 👍 Here's some of mine.

Had a fun little session with Theewar, Nomad, Will and Cpt Gary today. Had two races which were quite fun, definitly looking forward to the full race now. Managed a 1:39:5xx before I got disconnected. I couldn't find the room again and I'm not sure they were even in it after that.

But I opened another room not too long ago and managed the time in the picture. Not really sure where the pace came from but my first lap was a 1:38:1xx and then I got that. Very happy with that although by the sounds of it I'll have to knock 2 seconds off it

Yeah wouldn't usually. Like to leave it to the "Official Timing by Longines/Seiko" race officials to rectify i.e. Ade and you.

Don't know if that sounds weird but it's a compliment.
That, along with Paul's Most Improved official stamp of approval, the recent highlighting of SC in almost viral type fashion, the time peeps take for uploading race photos and Ades increased skill with graphics/fonts etc. to create an identifiable themed almost branded look to everything Sunday Cup, makes me feel like I'm running in something special (hard to put in words) almost in an official series capacity. Or I'm scrabbling around for excuses as to why I'm nervous 2hrs before the race rather than one and am sweating litres more than usual.
Even more special, is how accessible this series remains for drivers of all ability, as I can testify after rejoining from a stalled start first time round.
The only thing letting this effort down is PD servers, step yer game up.
Top notch guys:cheers:👍

Yes, Ade created a competition that has grown into an actual series that most hosts can only dream of.👍👍👍

Were in a friends only lobby, we were having issues with that too. Weescotsman is the host, you could try searching lobbys on Brands Hatch and see if you find us that way

OK guys, The Sunday Cup facebook page and The Lotus forums thread have been updated with Sundays results and pictures. Im hoping to be able to make a short video highlight's to put on these tomorrow. First official practice in the Europa will be on Friday evening, but let me know of any more fast laps, so we have a benchmark. I will try to get on before Friday, but that all depends on my video editing skills.

Just made the first Sunday Cup video. Its my first real go with the capture card, so you will have to forgive me if I missed anything. I tried to condense an hours racing into 15 minutes of footage, including some of the close battles, pit stops and the winning three crossing the line. The video is unedited, as I have yet to get to grips with the editing software, so it may appear a bit raw. Its currently uploading to youtube, and I will post it as soon as it has been published.

Tomorrow will be the first chance I have had to get some laps in the Europa, and Im really looking forward to some track time. Seems I have a bit of catching up to do, so if anyone found a good base set up, I would appreciate it. I will be opening a lobby from 7.30 pm tomorrow.

Well, the first test session was great fun. 10 racers joined tonight to get a feel for the new car. We ran several 5 lap races on the SM tyre. No race times will be taken from tonight's session, as tomorrow is the first official practice, and that is when times will be posted, however at the end of the evening the fastest lap time recorded in the lobby was a 1:36.378

Also tonight the question about Rigidity improvement was asked again. It is not listed on the graphic, however it does not add any lightness, or add any power to the car. In GT5 this mod was in the weight reduction mods, but in GT6 its in the pit service. Also, in some cars it improved stability, and in other cars it didnt. I cant police whether a driver uses it or not, so rigidity improvement is now optional. You may choose to put this option on your car, however if you do, and your car is slower, or you dont like it, you will not be able to remove it, and you will have to buy a new car.

Official practice starts tomorrow from 8.30 pm, and times will count from here on in.

Great first official practice at Brands Hatch last night. Nine racers throughout the course of the night, and some great times were set. I couldnt match my previous time from Thursdays first runs, but I think that was mainly due to ruining the set up I had. I will be trying Warrens set up tonight.
