Awesome fun session tonight. 9 racers turned in for times, and some new PBs were set. Great banter, as always. Not sure if Im going to be about tomorrow, but if Im not, THEEWAR has offered to host a practice session.

I was...very....very drunk.

Hopefully post new PB when less inebriated.

Just say no, to the exquisitely 2 winter garage chilled legend that is McEwans export, even if there's only raspberry sambuca in the house.

Good racing.

Awesome practice again tonight gents, with 10 on track and some new times to put up. I wont get to view the replays until tomorrow, so the times will be posted then. Again connection issues caused some headaches, with what seemed like a mass DC in the last race.

I wanted to see what was going on in one of the live gtplanet events, half an hour ago. They had a massive DC. About 8 drivers were out.

Only just had a chance to view last nights replays. New times are in red text, and we have a new pace setter. Brands Hatch awaits us this coming Sunday, and the key here is going to be consistency again, as well as avoiding the sand, and the grass. The lap count has been done, based on the times set. I will be online again tomorrow from 8.30pm, if anyone wants to join for some extra practice.

Great few races last night, and again some new PBs were set. THEEWAR managed to close the gap to VELOCI to 2 1/100ths of a second, and I managed to smash almost a second off my previous best. I wont be on tonight, but practice will resume tomorrow from 8.30pm.

Edit #2....Weescotman has just sent me the pic of his new best time. This moves him up to third fastest at the moment.

Just been through last nights replays. (Not sure if I missed saving 1 of the races, but these are the times from my replays) Veloci has responded to Warrens time, and taken the lead on the lap time table again. Capt D and Sholesy also beat their previous PBs, and the midfield racing looks to be very close. Tonight sees the penultimate night of practicing at Brands Hatch, and the lobby will be open from 8.30pm.

Tomorrow there will be some more news on prizes, before the final practice session, but now I would like to move onto the GOODWOLF/ADE3210 award. As said before, this award is not given for winning a race, or a fastest lap, but is awarded on other merits. GC Gary, and Goodwolf wanted the award to go to myself, for my move to avoid Jammyrex at Monaco after the tunnel at the chicane on lap 19. Thanks guys, it was a steller move, but I just wouldnt feel right about awarding myself an award. So, I have decided to pass the award to another. This is for his contribution to The Sunday Cup.

@theewar only joined us for race 2, but since that time, he has shared set ups, and given tips on getting faster lap times. I was most impressed with the time he has spent with other racers, to try and help them with racing lines, and giving advice on under steer/over steer. This contribution towards toward closer racing, makes it more enjoyable for everyone.

You've certainly given me a great deal of help, though it must be like 'teaching an old dog new tricks' with me.
You deserve this award. well done.

OK racers. After a marathon 4 hour practice session last night, the replays have been viewed. Some more new PBs were set, and Capt_D catapulted himself into 2nd on the timetable. The final practice will be tonight from 8.00pm, and we will do a few runs on the SH tyre during the course of the evening.

Now for the promised prize news. As well as the 8gb Exige flash drive from Lotus, and the F1 cap from TLF, we have some additional prizes. TLF have also very kindly provided some keyrings, which will be awarded to the top 3 at the end of the season.

As well as the keyrings, for the first time in Sunday Cup History, the winner will receive a cup. This cup has been provided by COBANI.

Last, but by no means least, and this one probably needs a drum roll, GC Gary, has again provided an extra special prize. The winner will have the chance to attend the Silverstone classic event with Gary on Sunday 27th July. Gary has purchased 2 tickets, one for himself, and one for the winner. Should the winner not be able to attend, the ticket will be offered to the runner up. I too am planning on attending, so if anyone else wished to purchase a ticket, and have a Sunday Cup meet at Silverstone, early bird tickets are available until the end of March, and full details are available HERE. Massive thanks to Gary, and Cobani, and Lotus and TLF.

Wow Nice one Ade, I really think the Sunday Cup IS the place to race on-line. Not just for the prizes, but for the people in it, and GC's special prize is an added touch.

BTW Ade my time was 1:38.838

Doing other things last night but had a look at 11:30 and you guys were still on. Mentalists, damn though.

Always wanted to go to the classic, and this might tip me over the edge.

Are you guys going all weekend or day ticket, which day?

See you later if missus allows

The prize ticket is just for the Sunday. The wife hasn't noticed I bought two. Yet. I don't think I would've gotten away with a whole weekend out with the Sunday cup'ers.

Didn't read Ade's post properly, d'uh.

See if I can make it.

If Sunday Cupper's drink as hard as they drive? A full weekend? .......Danger! Will Robinson!
