Not looking good for me, can't even get to the screen where you pick the lobby.

EDIT: Can't even do a broadband speedtest, looks like I'm missing this one. Made it in for about 10 seconds before I disconnected just now.

And its final now, just got kicked off PSN and cant log back in. Good Luck to all in the race tonight and have fun. I'll see you in Round 3. 👍

Congratulations to you fast drivers! Very impressive!

My performance was bad, I had expected better according to the practice times I got.

Before the race something odd happened. Just Before the quali started I ran some laps on CS, but switched back to SH before the quali started. Then the quali started and in the first bend I noticed that I was on CS! Well, I changed to SH and the race started. I couldnt get near my practice time around .56 - .57. My fastest lap was lap 24 and I did 1.59.xx.
It felt like I was driving om CS all the time, but it sounded like SH.

Is it possible to see what quali time you did?

And I feel for you who got disconnected. That is so sad.

Well, thats race 2 out of the way. Monaco was always going to be a tricky circuit to race, but tonight the racing was great, it was just a shame that the internet decided it was going to make it difficult. We had a struggle to start, getting everyone visible, and after a delay we seemed ok with 14 racers all visible. Those who suffered DCs late in the race will still receive the points they should have.

Any way, this post is about the top three. Well done guys, champagne time. 👍👍👍

J Daniels, post: 9351040, member: 254848"]Hello ADE,

Is there a chance to participate at the Sunday Cup races? I would very much like to take part. I have great respect for the rules and for other drivers and am also a big fan of the game. My race number is 77.
Car: Brown
Wheels: Silver

Hi there, if you race you'll have to choose another number because I race as 77.

Cheers,
Kev

Thank you for a great evening of racing.

I knew Monaco would be all about damage limitation for me as I struggled all week.
Had a great start to shoot me up to 3rd and was trying to keep that up. With the pack being so close, one mistake was all it took to slip me back to 9/10th. Had a great battle with Will, Sholese Paul and of course @jammyrex , with whom I had some awesome laps.👍

Being in 7th with Ade breathing down my neck, real life needed me. That is why I had to retire.

Congratulations to the podium and also the newcomers, as you were all very impressive!

Cheers Bo

Congrats to Veloci and Theewar on your win and podium on your first Sunday Cup Race, I'm looking forward to potentially battling with you guys at Brands Hatch. My connection seems to have returned to normal as of late last night, only a few hours late :/

But nonetheless I decided to go for an offline spin in the Europa around Brands Hatch. I didn't touch the set-up of the car yet and the fastest time I managed was a 1:40:3xx. With a default set-up, its a very weird car to drive in my opinion.

Bloody hell Dowlin, I managed 2:00 after what seemed like 50laps.

Thanks, hope to battle with you in a couple weeks as well. Good lap, though I haven't run any yet, I would like to point out that running offline in time trial mode (or really any of the modes for that matter) is going to be usually 1-2 seconds quicker than online. That is because offline has no tire wear and doesn't seem to take the weight of the fuel into account (i.e. you're running on 1L of fuel forever). I always make a quick friends only lobby to practice my races, and I'll try to pull some laps tonight after I get back from uni.

Congrats to Veloci and Capt_D for 1st&2nd place ..I was nowhere near the pace of you guys at the start of the race, and it took a lot longer than I would have liked for the race nerves to settle down.My fastest lap was a 1:53.5-- and at one point was closing the gap on Cpt_D only to introduce myself to the barrier on the left as you come out of the chicane after the tunnel, brought me to a dead Stop:ouch:. I am very happy with 3rd place, even more so considering the class of Drivers in the Sunday Cup..Thanks for the Great Racing:tup:

Yeah I know that, I just didn't have the luxury of online racing last night so I made do

as we bid farewell to the first car in the SC4 season I figured I would make the pictures a bit more "60's"

The grid lines up with some new blood in the first few rows

Around the first corner and away we go

The focus is on VELOCI_2NR

The pressure is on around Grand hotel hairpin

Ade gets intimate with the barrier after the chicane

Jammy and Weescotman into mirabeau

Captain Gary not letting the pressure get to him

How can goodwolf see through all this smoke?

GC hastilly gets off of the racing line to let Nomad and canary through

Canary speeding through the tunnel

Rosen on Portier

Nomads turn to clear the racing line

Lapping commences: soka and captain Gary pass canary

Veloci passes Nomad when he pits

Nomad struggles on the comfort softs

Whilst Ade smokes them

The crowd cheers Veloci

And he takes the chequered flag

Awesome pictures Gary, I also love the black and white, look stunning.

Now onto last nights racing. I started at the very back of the grid, not sure how that happened, as I did get a pretty decent lap time in the 4 laps I did. The first few laps were very tense, as the stress of getting the lobby sorted showed. twice I crashed at the chicane, and found myself at the back. But I dug deep, and regained my composure, to hit good consistent low 54's lap after lap. I took a long time, but eventually I caught up, and started making my way through. I was looking forward to some close battles with COBANI, and by lap 22, had him in my sights, but real life events prevailed, and he had to make his exit.

I really enjoyed the pressure of having to fight to catch up, and was impressed by everyone at this particularly tricky circuit.

Onto the disconnections. It was very unfortunate that these happen, and those who didnt finish will still get some points. As Goodwolf was on lap 28, he will only loose 1 point of those he would have got, had he finished where he was.
Canary will receive 75% of his points, and I am going to award Cobani 6 points, as he didnt leave the lobby of his own choice, and I know he would have continued until the very end if it hadnt been for his emergency.

I would also like to welcome new racers, THEEWAR, VELOCI and SOCAGT to The Sunday Cup. I hope you both enjoyed your first event with us.

Onto the next race now, and its time to garage the Elan, and move onto the Europa.

Theewars' not on the champ standings Ade. Know you'll fix it.

Quality racing from all gents, loving it. Now for the first lotus MR, and that famed racing configuration from here on in. Hold on to your hats, and gas pedal (round corners) for that matter.

Do any of the brands hatch time settings give a good 70's Sunday GrandStand rally cross going into sunset haze look. That'd be extra cool.

@GTP_ADE So my keen eyes observe a small problem with the regs for the europa. Your car picture shows a front lip spoiler, but the regs dont have a front aero option. Now, granted, I'm unsure if there is any difference in performance, but maybe we should make a firm decision on it. Thanks!

Yeah wouldn't usually. Like to leave it to the "Official Timing by Longines/Seiko" race officials to rectify i.e. Ade and you.

Don't know if that sounds weird but it's a compliment.
That, along with Paul's Most Improved official stamp of approval, the recent highlighting of SC in almost viral type fashion, the time peeps take for uploading race photos and Ades increased skill with graphics/fonts etc. to create an identifiable themed almost branded look to everything Sunday Cup, makes me feel like I'm running in something special (hard to put in words) almost in an official series capacity. Or I'm scrabbling around for excuses as to why I'm nervous 2hrs before the race rather than one and am sweating litres more than usual.
Even more special, is how accessible this series remains for drivers of all ability, as I can testify after rejoining from a stalled start first time round.
The only thing letting this effort down is PD servers, step yer game up.
Top notch guys:cheers:👍

Ran a few laps tonight around Brands Hatch with Capt_D and Nomad81.Very Nice car when its not trying to go Arse over head, so to speak.Got down to a 1:37.851 on SM Tyres..Not a bad start but I am only too aware that in a day or so that time wont hold much weight once you guys get into it :nervous: .

Just did a very short preliminary test to shake down the car. No more than 20 minutes and ran a 1:36.3 I believe. Definitely aiming for 35's without a doubt. It's just so boring running alone, so I'll wait to run again until there are more guys around :)

Indeed you do have a keen eye. I must have negelected to add it to the list when I made the graphic, as it doesnt have any aero adjustment. I will alter the graphic tonight, so in the meantime fit the front lip spoiler.

Yeah I agree its very boring alone, I'm gonna try and get some practice later on tonight if you or anyone else wants to go for a spin.
