The latest update needs to be accepted within 2 seconds of it coming up on your TV, otherwise it won't work and the PlayStation resets.

interesting. i just opened it last night and the second novice race had it lock up after the finish line. i read it was happening to other people. so i need the 1.02 is that right?

When you said lock up I thought it was the update you we're referring to. You should be on 1.02 if I remember correctly. Might be worth deleting and seeing if it locks up on 1.0/1.01? That and re-installing might help anyway.

It's true. I've not used it myself. So far as I'm aware it doesn't do anything to your game save.

Version 1.03 is the current update. The 20 mil glitch hasnt worked since 1.02, so it cant be done anymore. As for the lock up, is it happening when the blu ray drive tries to read the disc, as I know some people have experienced problems with some PS3s reading duel layer discs. I have a problem with mine not recognizing the game when I first turn on the PS3.

@Captain Roh It was good of you to join us. I have my FFB set at 4. Also DFGT user, although mines a hybrid now

I used to run my FFB at 10 on GT5. I turned it down after some advice and it seemed to feel better. I shall try 4 next time I use the wheel, I think it's currently on 6 or 7. By the way what is a hybrid DFGT? I'm assuming different/better pedals? Is it easy to do?

I think Ade said he has stuck an Elise wheel on it (guess with some sort of adaptor plate machined at work?) He's got custom cockpit with Evora seat. You'd probably find me in the skip everyday if I worked there.

By the way Sunday Cuppers, do I have to keep the same colour combo across the 4 cars? I'm usually Matte black with Lotus yellow wheels as I imagine said car to be an un-liveried Lotus project/test car out dodging Autocar mag, but I'm struggling to justify the matte for the Elan and Europa at least. Slapped BRG on the yellow wheeled Elan straight after last practice and immediately didn't feel so dirty.
Was there gold leaf red combo on the Elan and Europa as well?

Yes there was. Oh for a simple livery editor. Red, gold and white rectangles stretched across car and voila?!

no problems last night during about an hour of play so maybe the lock up was just an anomaly. thanks!

Course mate, I'll try and think of the first 2 as lightweights rather than carbon clad. Doesn't matter, it's just me and my OCD for authenticity. Just let us number the cars or something PD, I'll only do a couple Gulf liveries...shush! Woof! No not my game gripe Tourette's as well lol.

Great couple of races after the 500pp Civic race last night. I havnt had a chance to view the replays, and probably wont get a chance until after tonights practice.
