How did you get everyone's car though? And grid spot 7 where?

I had to give my test lotus 11 coats of paint, both car and wheels and change the number and drive to the same spot for each pic. I did have a few spare hours yesterday afternoon before my garden turned into a campsite.

looks like Autumn Ring pit straight to me.
👍👍

Quick times Ade 👍
the fastest I've managed is a 52:596 on softs and 53:6xx on mediums, I'm looking forward to having a good tussle with you tonight 👍
Also a new picture of me and my car will be here in the near future.

You guys wouldn't believe what I passed on the Autobahn on my drive home tonight!

It was a yellow Elise/Exige (couldn't quite tell) with a very interesting decal on it. On the left door was a huge Rainbowdash, on the right door a screaming Fluttershy, and on the rear the entire My Little Pony cast. All driven by a guy with Rastafari-locks, a nice beany and a full beard. I tried taking some proof pictures on my mobile phone, but the rain and resulting road spray caused some really poor pictures. Big respect for driving such a car :crazy::crazy:

Congrats to those who mastered the online physics!

I'm off to boil my head! :ouch:

Here.....have a Jubilee M&M to celebrate! :indiff:

Thanks to all who made it to the Jubilee racing tonight. Just a little taster of the coming season. We had 9 starters at Cape ring, and Joylord suffered a DC, but he came back and joined us for a second 10 lap race at Suzuka East with no pit stops.

Not really sure how I managed to get on the podium for the second race, but I am not gonna complain.

Again, big thanks for your time gents. This Elise will take a bit more training than the last one, especially as we get the upgrades later in the season.

There will be one more friendly race in 2 weeks time. I will post the details in the next few days.

Absolutely brilliant profile pictures there Omnius!

And great stuff Ade for getting the thread up to date so fast with matching gfx!

The new car will need some getting used to, but I had a blast tonight gentlemen, thanks for the fair racing!

Calling all engineers!

This car of mine just won't point in the right direction upon exiting a corner!

The rear always starts to let go as I'm almost out of the bend!?!?!?!?!?

....hmmmm, prehaps give the front more understeer?

Thanks for lastnight it was good fun. I'm clearly way off the pace need to find a setup. And I'm a little worried about future races with my connection issues. But really enjoyed it.

I had similar problems: On the DS3 i can keep the car stable, the settings i had for the first Suzuka test worked quite well. But yesterday, my rear came flying around mid corner. Softening the springs seemed to help a bit, seeing your settings i might need to go even softer. I was seriously annoyed yesterday, those spinouts happened at almost no lateral G and I decided to keep the danger off the track...

Same here Third! It was becoming a pain when normally at the point of exit from a bend, you would normally be safe in applying some acceleration....not with my tune it wasn't! :grumpy:

Regardless of car setups, i'm expecting some good battles between cobani and jamesybograt, hopefully i'll be up there too, ade seems to have good pace as well.

I think that once everyone gets used to the car and tyres, you can add Third_reign, Dowlin, Richyboy and Goodwolf to the list of faster drivers. I finished 5th in season 1, but Dowlin and Third didnt enter until late in the season, and the final positions would have been different if they were there from the start.

Oh yea, reign and dowlin are quick too. Strategy is also important too. Everyone has the ability to win a race this season i think.

Well its gonna be a tough one getting the car to do what i want it to do, but I'll do my very best.

As for me being fast: I have yet to finish a race within the time limit in the PURE R32 Challenge, those guys are mighty fast, with two aliens participating. But the car is so much fun, and a few guys are about my pace, so I dont mind much ^^.

There will be one more friendly race before the start of season 2. This will give us another opportunity to test out set ups, and practice tyre strategy's and pit stops. This will consist of 1 race over 30 laps at HIGH SPEED RING, using SPORTS HARD as the option tyre.

Let me know if you can attend please.

Good racing sunday, i didn't know there was gonna be a 2nd race or i would of stayed as i need a lot more running in this car to get on the pace of the front runners.

My standard setup didn't seem to go to well, hope you dont mind if i try your setup Ade as im not to good with setups, well i am total rubbish with setups tbh. Cobani is very quick im not used to being lapped
