I don't think this is actually the reason Gilda turned on Rainbow Dash Freyja, though. I think it was a combination of Rainbow Dash Freyja sticking up for Pinkie Pie, her calling out Gilda for the latter's actions and Gilda being embarrassed about what happened.

EDIT: Also, I meant to say I'd end up hitting both of them. I changed the wording on the sentence and forgot to change a few a lot of words....Wow, I completely screwed up the way I had that worded.

Yeah, she was embarrassed, but it was because she was called out for being a bitch by her only friend in town.And her being embarrassed about what happened doesn't excuse the fact that it did happen.

Besides, even if she really was still nice to Dash, I just don't think I can forgive the theft, yelling at Fluttershy, and nearly killing Pinkie Pie on multiple accounts.

I guess that I never had an experience with people like Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon,so any of my points would probably be invalid(I got my theories based on some american references),apart from that,Gilda could be likeable at some level(maybe a younger version of herself),she share some things with RD,and these things create some sort of relationship with her(similar to the relationship between her and Applejack),Gilda from the series could be a degraded Gilda version,after all,she was separated from RD for a good while and that reunion seemed like a long after-school reunion.

I think it comes down to how they project their bitchiness.
People like Gilda are typically harmless so long as you don't bother them, and if you do you can avoid their scorn so long as you can put up a veil of something that appeals to them.

People like Silver Spoon and Diamond Tiara go out of their way to piss you off, purely because they know they can do it; and they are exceedingly good at it.

Well, no, I can't forget those things either. But those things aren't as... malicious as the things Silver Spoon and Diamond Tiara did.
Even the thing with Fluttershy was Gilda reacting (in an explosively cruel way, for sure) to those around her rather than instigating.

I don't think you can really count those situations as being like that.

OK, yeah, given the other things that happen in the world of MLP, I do take back the almost killing Pinkie Pie thing. I never meant to say she was intentionally trying to kill Pinkie, though. Just want to be clear that I wasn't trying to insinuate that she is a murderer. I think she's a bitch, but I wouldn't go that far.


Also, I might not be seeing it, but what did the person selling apples in the town do to upset Gilda?

Nothing.

I only mentioned the bit about reacting to say why I felt the Fluttershy incident (which was, I would say, the most cruel thing Gilda did) was different from what DT and SS were doing. She blew up on Fluttershy in a completely uncalled-for fashion, but she didn't go looking for Fluttershy in order to find someone to do it to.

During Call of the Cutie, Applebloom basically had to plan her traveling around not running into those two, because she knew if they even saw her they would start something.

Alright, after thinking more about what it means to hate something, I'll go ahead and say I hate Diamond and Sliver as they are now, but they can still change. But I seriously doubt I will ever stop hating Gilda.

Without fail, it never ceases to weird me out hearing voice actors/actresses perform their character's voices. Never.

I still get shivers when I see Mark Hamill do the Joker voice in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

That's the only size available for that particular image as far as I know (1280 x 960).

^^^ That brings me good memories about my childhood,I used to watch Dexter's Laboratory a lot lot when I was like 10-12,and I had a lot of fun with it,specially the episode in which both Dexter's and Mandark's laboratories get destroyed,the Monkey was awesome and the Justice league was hilarious,that show was awesome,and that was when Cartoon Network was still good and had Hanna Barbera stuff(Jonny Bravo,I am the weasel,Cow and Chicken,Powerful girls,apart from Pinky and the brain and Reboot,funny enough I actually thought that games on the PC were massive purple cubes creating a huge mess on the system,which was kind of awkward),but I never like Invader Zim for some reason,I don't known,maybe I didn't catch the jokes.

Damn,I got a bit nostalgic about it,and I feel so old now .

I made some changes to the "fun" picture. Modified the lighting and fixed their eyes.
Looks better, IMO.

And when I see other people's awesome work on DrawFriends and DeviantArt I feel a small envy in me. but I'm not sad or angry, I'm actually happy for them. And looking at their work I learn.

It seems to me that a lot of the people who are against it think Ingram is going to turn the theme song into the kind of thing that would be played at Club Technochocolate.


Granted, the dozens and dozens of Dubstep and house remixes of Pony songs may have colored the fan's perception for what a remix actually is, but I can't imagine Ingram would do much more than the current song with some tweaks to it.
Or, more like the difference between this and this rather than the difference between this and this.

Toro's right. A remix should not always has to be very different from the original.

Yeah, you can have a remix where the original tune is overhauled but it retains the original vocals which is evident in many MLP remixes, but I believe Ingram wouldn't do this. Instead he would just alter the tune to a degree, but not so much that it would sound like a totally different song. I'm interested in what he would come up with if he does decide to remix the theme song.
