^I've loved that for a while.
EDIT: I never noticed the annotation link to the original. I love the background music in this show.
Here's another awesome one.

On the thread of thought concerning music videos. I never believed that this vid spawned the New Lunar Republic meme:

Or so I've been told.

Normally I have trouble thinking of Pony crossover names, but Pony Stark is fairly straight forward.

Robert Downy Junior's good at that kinda character.

Also my pre-readers came back from holiday. :3

I estimate I'll be able to send it off to EDaily the morrer. Most of the critique is grammar and sentence flow oriented. They like the overall premise and the way it unfolds. Here's hoping the larger brony community do too!

Just made a female Blood Elf mage on WoW (would have preferred to do a night elf but horde is the best) called TwiSparkle. Twilight Sparkle was too long so it had to do.

I attempted Sonic Rainboom for my Human Mage I used as a starter, had to make do with Wonderbolt.

Then abandoned the game because it was boring...

What was the name of the comedic "everyone loves Dash but she doesn't swing that way" story from last week? I'm burning through these things crazy fast now (Gravekeeper will never trip me up), but Googling it would be a lot easier than going back page by page.

^Five's Company.

EDIT: Also, I just modified these to use as Icons on Rocket Dock, so the edges are a little rough, but just in case anyone's interested, I'll post them here.

All I did was make the background clear, but again, I rushed through them since they were going to be tiny, so they're a little rough around the edges.

EDIT: Also, have you recovered from your Gilda thing yet, Toro?

Yeh, I tried World of Warcraft, but everyone I met seemed to have a numbers fetish.

Also Five's Company is genius, short, but very sweet.

^I gave it a try a while ago. I played for a week then started to lose interest. It's in no way a bad game, it's just not really my thing.

Anyway, this comic is adorable.

D'aww Luna. It's sad to think that season two, no matter how it turns out, will blow fanon Luna out of the water. :(

I'm just not an MMO player. I prefer FPS's where it's based on skill and light strategy, (or RTSs with actual strategy.) MMOs are unfair in that no matter how well I build a class, the fat, sweaty no lifer that pours his life into the game will always be better.

I like it being the case where no player is inherently more powerful. But you beat other people by moving quicker, and hitting more accurately. Not grinding overnight on dungeons with a small tanker-load of red bull.

Although...the Old Republic Star Wars MMO? Damn...I can't not give that a try.

/Edit/

@Akira

That be a cute pic.

It's so much easier to just shower stories with praise than it is to think of thoughtful criticism. Even my The Party Never Ended response comment didn't require me to burn through two comment boxes because I ran out of room in the first.

What about that Gilda bitch? Rainbow Dash Pony is best Pony.

Though since Heart of Gold, Feathers of Steel is having a sequel story written, I expect my Gilda feelings are going to be quite conflicted for the time being.

People like you probably explain why my fic got more stars than I anticipated. :P

EDIT: geez, you guys move fast...

I can't spend eight good hours at work without y'all moving ahead four pages.

Hey now. I specifically recall that all of my comments for I Won't See You Tonight both on the page and here were related to me freaking out about how sad I was finding the whole thing to be (albeit in the coldly detached, "I can comment on this objectively because it was not able to break through my internal defenses" sad rather than the "why am I crying so much" sad that only 4 stories thus far have caused).

Checking the story page, I haven't actually rated the thing yet for that matter.

:sly:

Good story CoffeGrunt. It was interesting to see what can happen in the super distant future.

Thanks, I just posted it off to Sethisto.

So if I organise it right, I'll have two fics hitting the site within hours of each other.

I wasn't even aiming for it to be that sad. I never really planned IWSYT out, it just sorta...happened.

If it makes you feel better, the sequel is done. Awaiting the EMail to the good ship Sethisto, who's probably gunna be irritated by me trying to ram so many fics throguh the site. It's much happier, and both my pre-readers that repsonded said they liked the way it all played out, and it capped off the series nicely. I'm going to submit it as a standalone though. It's incredibly different to the others.

^ Daww...

Also, jemylover and his team are writing a Cupcakes:Aftermath fan-fic.
The pictures are effin' disturbing, I don't know why.

Especially this one...

And I also wrote more stuff to my fan-fic, so I'm sad as hell...

Oh...that...is disturbing as hell.

What's it about?

Also I have two questions. If Celestia wants to say "God's sake", what does she say?
And in a society that spans several star systems, as well as haveing bases and colonies on the moon, is it still acceptable to use it as an analogue for hell? (I'm planning on using this in an argument between Celestia and Luna, the two ruling admirals.)

Dude, there's no way that was an accident. We've all seen Boast Busters. Ending Chapter One on a positive note after all the crap that happened was borderline cruel in the irony of it all.

And you really should stop being a downer on yourself. You write much better than I do, and that thing I dumped on ED still managed a Star-4.

I imagine it has to do with the fact that it is a sequel to Cupcakes that does not end with it all being a dream. Even Rocket to Insanity with the alternate ending was pretty depressing.

And since when were there four (written) sequels to Cupcakes? Has Seth been updating them secretly? I don't have time to read them infernal things.

The original concept was massively different. It started out as a confrontation between Trixie and Twilight, evolved into a retribution story, then developed a backstory. After writing the backstory, the intro and outro seemed unnecessary, so were cut. The backstory was rounded off and given a bit more fleshing out, and I rewrote Cassandra's death.

Then it went out and got accepted after some tweaks. (Originally Cassandra was shot in an alley, but it was cliche.)

The finale deas with all this. I just gotta finish tidying up the loose ends, then it's ready for upload. It's as long as I Won't See You Tonight and Trashed and Scattered combined. I also left the door open for a sequel...because I have a plan for it I might one day put to use.

I think you missed a chance to turn Trixie into Batman.

You know, of all of the things I wanted to spend my time doing today, reading sequels to Cupcakes was not one of them.

And I phrased that sentence terribly, but I do not care.

I think you missed a chance to turn Trixie into Batman.

It was heading in a vengeful direction, but in the end, I liked the "show must go on" type deal. I felt it gave more depth, and gave me a chance to show her slow descent.

Aaaand anyway, here's the new chapter, A Little Piece of Heaven. (In more ways than one.)

/Edit/

I feel sorry for Sethisto. As I finish compiling and sending off my ALPoH fanfic about Trixie, I notice his reply to the Halo fic. So as soon as he dealt with one of my fics, another appeared n his inbox.

If every fanfic writer is like that, how is he still alive?
