BTW, Mind to share what you like? What's your favorite story?

I like stuff that's dramatic and has some suspense, but not too much, keep it realistic; Like detective stories and stuff. My favorite book so far is The Adventures of Captain Hatteras by Jules Verne; Good, rich characters, good descriptions, nice plot, some mystery, but not too much. I can recommend it to you. Title in Estonian is Kapten Hatterase seiklused.

There is reading, and there is feeling the story, getting immersed by it. I mean, if you were imagining the one that you thought was your best friend playing with your intestines and killing and reviving you three times in the process, just to be finally terminated by her ripping your head off, you wouldn't be so happy.

Besides, I've noted some kind of pattern in the fanfics: There are basically two ways they end, lesbian sex and death. Male writers usually kill and female writers usually "mate" the characters. 👎

One thing I'm curious about is if Hasbro will try to reach into the periphery demographic with merchandise.

I mean, as a generic 20-something male with a broadband internet connection, I have no interest in buying ponies, but I would happily fork over money for the same kind of useless crap that I buy for anime, various shows from my youth and widget videogames. Blu Ray boxsets, soundtracks, t-shirts, posters, feelies, etc. I mean, obviously MLP is a merchandise machine, but it generally isn't wide-reaching merchandise.

There is reading, and there is feeling the story, getting immersed by it. I mean, if you were imagining the one that you thought was your best friend playing with your intestines and killing and reviving you three times in the process, just to be finally terminated by her ripping your head off, you wouldn't be so happy.

Besides, I've noted some kind of pattern in the fanfics: There are basically two ways they end, lesbian sex and death. Male writers usually kill and female writers usually "mate" the characters. 👎

It's Adrenaline. Anesthesias dumb down your body, so you could still die, but less painfully.

No, the anesthetic was just near the end, injected into the spine like an epidural or in this case, a spinal analgesic. That was to ensure Dash didn't pass out from pain, and gave her a wonderful feeling of horror. The other injections were indeed adrenaline to wake her up.

I don't remember it mentioning any anesthetic, so I thought that "syringe that made her hold still" was some kind of paralyzer.

But due to you giving more accurate and seemingly more-informed-than-mine descriptions, I must ask: Are you a doctor or something, or you just read a lot of these dismemberment stories?
