Glad to see the picture!

It will be compatible with PS3, since they kinda have to do it because the T500 is the official GT5 wheel, no doubts about that!

Price-tag on that will be probably 100 euro or some but I think it will be worth every penny!

Just saw this posted on the Thrustmaster Facebook page...

The new shifter is coming guys!!! :D

Nice! Looks like I know what I'm going to buy over break, and I don't have summer school!

Knowing that the wheel already costs 500 euros I'm thinking it will cost more in the range of ~200 euros here in Holland.... Everything is always way overpriced here... Looks pretty neat though... 👍

I think it will have an official price around 120 - 140 €, and that will be possible to adquire it in online shops for around 100 - 120 €.

I seriously doubt about the shifter being 200eu and above! It has to have FFB then to cost so much and have titanium plates on it haha

Kinda have to agree with rebla on the prices they just cant go that expensive in my opinion

I wonder how long Thrustmaster is going to make us wait to find out more bout the shifter. In particular, I am just wondering about when it will be released and the price

I just find myself checking the website and the facebook fan page around 3-4x a day :D

Interesting to see they went with 7 forward gears. I wonder how long it's going to get used to the geometry if they decide not to have the stick sit in neutral between 3rd and 4th (like most modern cars and sim peripherals).

looking at the angle of the stick in the pic I think it will sit between 3rd and 4th.

So this is the shifter they were never for making, that was just a ploy to get people to buy their wheel.

Nice indeed but OMG is that more of those dodgy alan head bolt/screws
Hides from RC45 :scared:

Calm now, its just teasing...

LMAO way to dredge up a thread killer :)

Moving swiftly on - why no news?!?!?! Someone just go by their stand and take a pic dagnamit.

and apparently Car and Driver have been told by several people at Porsche that the next 911 will have a 7 speed manual stick option. (which is kinda ironic)

Yeah somebody from the forums has to be at E3 and needs to swing by thrustmaster booth and see what's the deal with the shifter. Lol hopefully will we have more info today.

If I had to guess at this point, I would say, it's just a photo of a pre-production model which is not even functional. But knowing E3 was here, Thrustmaster was at least savvy enough to know that there are people sitting on the fence (such as myself) who won't take the plunge on the T500 until they know the shifter is anything more than vaporware. And if they said NOTHING about the shifter at E3, many people would begin to suspect it was just that. It could still be many months away from release. Or in reality, not at all.

Am I the only one was a bit ticked off that TM haven't even made official mention of the shifter on their own website but they release a spy photo on their Facebook page? What's the point? But if my line of guesswork is in any way correct, the dots sort of align now. Releasing that photo created enough of a buzz that people are talking about it. And we are. But I don't want to guess anymore. I just want them to make it official.

%100 agree with you JJ. I actually have been holding off this wheel for that exact reason...and yes I am to rather unhappy.

Having said that I already promised myself one thing about a month ago, if I don't hear anything concrete from TM by the end of E3, I'm getting a G27.

This is ridiculous.

While we all would of expected it to be announced already their may be reasons they are holding off. Particulary perhaps to see what Fanatec were saying and in both camps we have two shifters that were to be announced but as yet not one has been shown or spoken of.

You can huff n puff and stamp your feet but they will release the information when they see fit.

They stated and I quote.....

"Many of you have asked us for a Gear Stick – so here is a first sneak peek, in advance of the other info that we will be sharing with you very shortly."

Patience.....

Having just switched from aG27. I can say that while a good wheel. It does not hold a candle to the T500. The shifter is something I thought I'd miss. Not at all. Be nice edition to T500. However the wheel is so much better. So much that it makes me not miss the shifter.

I would advise going T500. It's is that much better.

hi guys. quick question: is it worth the upgrade from the g27 to the t500 for iracing use? i have a buyer for my g27 and i need an answer fast. thanks

There's a ton of threads on iRacing Hardware section about this already. T500rs was voted their #1 wheel for that price range already. Go see for yourself. Lots of threads on that topic already

Little teaser pic.

T500 RS steering wheel adapter hubs. These will mount the Momo F1 style wheel to the T500 RS. however they can be made to adapt wheel of choice.

Expect these to be available shortly through a GTP member. The parts are on the way to him and he surely post install pics and pricing.

Hello, Seen your post on the T500RS Wheel adapter. Just wondering if they are available now? What is the price plus shipping to 55118 zip if so? Do you also make brake pedals for the pedal set of this system? I would like to use a Sparco 330mm that I have laying around and is brand new. Also, do you think that this wheel is a little big for the T500RS system? Let me know when you have some time. Thanks,Ken

I personally only play GT5 for many reasons that I won't get into right now. I love racing 450pp SHard because to me it feels the closest to real life, if I had the money to track a car. Because of this I really want a H gated shifter, and I'm even making my rig to except the shifter on both sides, this way if I'm driving a JDM car, its go on the left, a USD then on the right (anal? maybe... ;))

I was about to buy a g27, and then they announced the t500, I have been waiting since then in regards to the shifter.

Don't misunderstand me, I'm not hating on the t500rs at all!!!!! I love that ****, but the shifter...come on!
This has been sitting in my office for 4 months, its killing me as I continue to play with a controller.
