It doesn't bother me at all, personally as I said for a guy that fusses so much over this wheel you certainly aint as fussy over your cockpit.

That's a comment and a general observation nothing more. I find it funny how you feel the need to make it a debate or yet again say how it doesn't bother you.

Try to lighten up when someone is taking the hand out of you .
So easy to wind up.

RC45 - your are little funny guy. You act like you know everything and you know it best.

Well mate all your talking about rigs and real car driving is not worth broken penny caus it is simply not true.

I drive high performance car on track and with bucket seat chosen specifically for your size you got little to no movement at all.

So stop acting as alfa and omega. And get over the fact that playseat is just wobbly and it has nothing to do with immersion or precision or real life situations and that you made a poor choice back in the past by buying it.

And stop making up theories to prove us that it is actually good that it is wobbly. LOL

Edited the first part of this post!

At the moment I'm pleased with the G27 because I haven't tried the T500RS. So I don't know how it feels, how good it is. And what you don't know, you don't miss. Although the steering in GT5 isn't optimal, in GT5p you could at least change the steering lock of the cars, it's not a disaster.

It's my opinion that the T500RS is still somewhat a prototype that has been released under the pressure by KY. He wanted the wheel to be released as soon as possible. And I don't like the opinions about the rubber instead of leather.

Still not on Amazin, Newegg, nor Frys.com! Found a store that supposedly has one, but the main number is not correct and gives a "wireless customer is not available" message!

I'm ready to buy something tomorrow. Either the T500 or GT3rsV2 w/CSP or a G27 (which I think I'd be disappointed with).

So who wants my money!?!?

I doubt you would be disappointed with a G27.

Disinformation is incredible on this forum (RC45 is probably the best for this).
In lot of European forums, it's not the same: all new buyers of T500 explains that it's impossible to compared with Fanatec or Logitech wheel because it's not the same range. T500 RS is really another world (it's just like a real simulator and so of course it's not for children :)).

Although I am not in total agreement with some of RC45's critiques of the T500, he can hardly be accused if "disinformation.". He has taken a more rigorous look at it than anyone else on here. They are all wheels for the same simulators so they can be compared. It is a bit over the top to suggest the T500 is such a different animal that cannot be compared, and I love the T500.

I agree, Mr Latte is the one that seems to start the pointless discussions between the two of you.

I just said: "Stop it" in big capital letters and the discussion was over.

I would not be so quick to say it seems to be the fault of Mr.Latte. As we say, "it takes two to tango..."

Ignore the "attacks" (whether perceived or real) and just keep giving us cool info on your very cool sim toys! I never get tired of hearing what you have to say!
:)

Agree 100% about iRacing. What are your settings in GTR-E? I didn't have a 10/10 experience so I'm guessing it's my settings. Thanks.

Here are my GTR-E settings.

T500 Control Panel 100% except for damping at 80%, wheel set for 900 degrees.

In GTR-E Advanced tab: Steering Sensitivity 100%

In GTR-E FFB tab:

FFB Effects: 100%
FFB Strength 100%
Reverse Effects: Off
Steering Force: 100%
Steering Vibration: 35%
Engine: 40%
Brakes: 30%
Curbs: 70%
Impact 100%

Warning, I just did a 30 lap race and my forearms and wrists are smoked! You may want to tone it down a bit. I like the workout:)

Also, it does feel different than iRacing so you may just not like the Simbin style physics and feedback model.

There is a 3rd party selling it on amazon....it's $1400 though hahahaha he'll gladly take your money! Anywho, i contacted thrustmaster and all they could tell me is that they were having distribution issues which i think by now everyone know about, obviously! AND, they told me on two separate occasions that it will be available at listed retailers very soon! :grumpy: WTF DOES VERY SOON MEAN? i thought this was supposed to be released jan. 5th!? haha

There was a lot of un-needed bs in this post, but i agree with part of it. That playseat shakes more than a wet dog shi**ing razorblades.. I was choosing between playseat or obutto and i have you to thank rc45 for making that decision easier for me :)
And thanks for the reviews, feedback over the last couple weeks RC, might not have agreed with all your side comments but your review is appreciated.
( Get a new cockpit though. ) :D

Do you have links to thes forums? I am interested to read what they say...

RC45 is just one person and he has made his opinion clear, but he has also provided a lot of pictures and straight information that is both valuable and shows he is detailed.

Perhaps these people who love their T500 are similar or perhaps not but I would like to see for myself... one thing I have learend is for any product you can find a group of people willing to blindly cheer it on for any number of reasons (don't have to look too far on that subject :D ) and how they present what they say is as important often as what they say.

Hey, I'm no blind cheerleader. I can be just as critical of the wheel as anyone else, Devedander.

For instance: You know what I don't much like about the T500 RS? That there's only 24 hours in a day available to play with its awesomeness!

See? And you thought I couldn't be objective.

Take that, Thrustmaster. You've been served.

Thanks, I'll give it a shot and report back with my tweaks if any for those interested.

I may be getting a T500 tomorrow. My nearest store is scheduled to have 3 delivered in the morning. Hopefully Wifey Pooh is up for 5 hour there and back evening road trip...
