All the same, it's all good as long as you've got a wheel now. I recently got a G27 and started knocking multiple seconds off my controller laps, and I can tell I'm driving a lot better in general.

Even if you never look at an X1 again, you won't regret your purchase 👍

Same here, I got a wheel because my best cars were getting spanked by drivers using a wheel. I love my DFGT and it's all I use anymore.

how do you turn force feedback off on a g27? I asked the same here but it's a bit offtopic there.

I know I have to unplug it, but should I do it before running the game (ps3 calibration) or afterwards (gt5 second calibration)?

When I tried turning off the force feedback for the X1 challenge, I just unplugged the power after I was in the actual race (DFGT). So after the two calibrations.

But very soon I found that I just didn't like driving without the forcefeedback (feels so unnatural), so I went to the settings menu and turned it down to 1 instead of 5. If I were you I would try the lowest setting before turning it off completely. The resistence helps with muscle memory, as opposed to a completely loose wheel. As you improve you might even find yourself turning it up again.

I just golded the Nürburgring one with my poor DS3 !!! I'm so pumped right now !
It took me about a week and around 300-400 tries. But I'm so happy to have done it, it's a great satisfaction.
Only Suzuka left now.
For those who can't stand this event anymore, just practice, practice, practice and you'll get it. I'm not an amazing GT player so most people here can do it.

yes is hard but thats the whole point. buy a dfgt for 50 quid and get her done. i had to do it twice because game crashed on the replay, and had a sore neck for 2weeks from using the wheel.it took me 8hrs of play to do it

Finally did it! Golded all 3 with a ds3! And to think I was considering buying a wheel since I was really struggling with suzuka lol. Its took a good 500+ attempts but I finally ****ing got it! **** you sebastian vettel!
