There's something very wrong when we won't break 0F for a while and Nome is melting. :irked:

Rained a good 8 hours! Boy, we needed that! More coming, too. A lot more! But, dry for the past 10 hours. Next storm comes tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday.

We got the same rain yesterday that moved through California, heavy at times. Definitely needed. Apparently we had a mini tornado too, I had a bad feeling about that storm when I could see it rotating. Crazy stuff.

It rained during the night. No sun at the moment.

This weekend, it's going to sunny and 15°C. I hope the weatherman(woman) is correct.

No rain today and very little yesterday. Rain storm pretty much is all gone. Back to warmer temps later in the week. Mid to high 70's from the low mid 50's we've had during the rain storm for the past few days.

Rain fall was about 2-2.5 inches, only but that's more than enough for just a few days.

This brutal winter has officially taken the life of my garage door opener. RIP door opener. Its not a real big deal because I can manually lift the door. But still, this winter has taken another victim.

Exactly the same here earlier, and it's still 14°C.

We went from cold, wet and wintery weather on Thursday, to the first signs of summer yesterday and today. Can't recall the last time we went two days without it pissing down outside.

Was nice yesterday. Got up to around 40f. Haven't been down to Lake Michigan in about 6 months. Decided to check it out and one area was blocked off. So I had to drive around and for the first time ever, I could only see ice as far as the eye can see. I guess Lake Michigan is over 95% frozen!! Here are a couple pics.
