I believe it should be able to run on medium settings. Don't hold that to me though.

Unless your Laptop has some sort of video out plug, you can't connect it to another monitor.

HDMI to your TV then. Then make sure that you set your main screen as your TV. If the resolution of your TV is higher than the Laptop, then you could run into some performance drops as well.

look into your cpu temp 115° is very hot
to answer you question : low to medium settings should work and give you a decent fps, for your tv problem read the post above this one
 
I am kicking around the idea (again) of getting into Iracing but realy didnt want to put alot of money into my PC until I try it out to see if I like the Iracing experience....I dont have my Video Card specs right now but I do know Im running a HD card. Also Im using my 56' LED tv for a monitor

AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual Core Proccessor 6400 + 3.22GHz
4G Ram
Windows 7 64bit

Also if someone can answer me because I dont want to make another thread. I have a Fanatec CSR wheel and Clubsport pedals and Astro headset. Im assuming all I would have to do is install the drivers for these on my PC and they will work??
 
I have a different issue with card but made by asus amd r9 270 2gb gd5
My previous card sapphire 7770 1gb gd5 have more power then r9 270????
On iracing 7770 with all settings on high is giving me 150fps while r9 is at 120 fps???
( the same track, car etc.)
When I enter a race and full grid showed up (46 cars ) frames dropped to 40 fps on r9 but in options I saw that current load is 900 mb out of 2048 mb.
My specs; intel quad 2.33ghz, power supply 500w, 8 gb ram
R9 drivers were updated from amd web site and from cd that came with it.
Nothing is overclocked, windows 7 64 pro.
System recognise new card and amount of dedicated memory so what is wrong.....?

Have you went to the iracing setup section and reconfigured your hardware? Iracing has the auto detect feature you can use. Until you let iracing detect the new hardware it wont use it.

Hi I have done what I could including bios update...
Anyway I took this card to pc repairs and came up with fault.
Apparently some of the memory bridges were damaged and that's why this card had worse performance then the weaker one
 
Thoughts on running max/ultra settings.

AMD 8150 3.6/4.1
8GB Ripjaws Ram
Sapphire 7970 3GB DDR5

Single screen. Should be good right?

Runs Bf3 @90fps at 1920x1080 on Ultra.
Bf4 @60fps 1920x1080 on Ultra.
CSGO Max graphics 1920x1080 v-sync off @300fps+.

You can run max with no issues.

Need help ASAP please...i need a cheap iracing laptop i can use for iracing, minecraft, and school work like on google docs. this is the laptop i think will work. http://www.walmart.com/ip/40587400#about i dont need fantastic graphics...kinda want 50 fps or 45...and going to a HDMI cord to a 19" monitor

I think it might struggle to run it, both the CPU and GPU.

Something like this: Link or this Link should be considerably faster for the same amount of money.

You should be fine and quite possibly be able to run 60 FPS on the highest settings for all tracks.
 
just discovered that the Core i5-4570R is the lowest spec iris 5200 processor.

good to know this is good enough. it is good enough right?
