Fifth wind says that reunion will happen in two forms, one greater than other and birdtamers will have freedom to decide which reunion they will attend. Greater reunion will ask for great sacrifice to be made in order to get all present and future treasures without new sacrifices needed, while smaller reunion will come in form already known, asking for more sacrifices if future treasures catches the eyes of the birdtamers.

So I think many of us think that GT5 will come in 2 forms. GT5 "Complete" and GT5 "Not so complete"

Lets say GT5 "not so complete" will be priced at 60 dollars USD
How much would you pay for FULL experiance? 80? 100? 120 even?

SO which version would you buy?

For me no matter what the price.. I would buy the FULL experience, even if it is 120 USD.

So this one is talking.. in my understanding, about PS3 release and PSP 2 (two) release. Seems Sony is allready testing out PSP2, and we all knew GT Mobile was coming to PSP, but we do not know about PSP2 and GT game, so we know a bit but not whole lot.. So no wonder he talks about "Realm will resemble realm already knows but it will be divine new and made in the image of it.

Another reason to support PSP2 GT game is that at first PD postponed GT Mobile game because of making GT5 game.. Then Kaz himself said once we finish GT5 game, we will start doing PSP GT Mobile game.. but now there has been news about GT coming to multiple consoles at the same time.. and recently PSP2 news occurred.. So yeah PSP2 GT Mobile game is going to be one of the 1st titles to see once PSP2 releases.
 
What are the winds wispering about DAMAGE?

Just saw this great damage thread with a fantastic vehicular damage. I wonder if the winds are wispering anything about that? I remember KY promising us damage in GT4 and GT5:P (as a downloadable patch) and in GT5. I hope the winds are going to wisper "damage" as I would definetly be looking forward to that in GT5, more than anything else.:)
 
I don't bealive that GT5 will have damage, i may be wrong, but... a game with such level of details have damage will take too much power of the PS3 or any hardware, and still have the problem of some manufactors don't allow to cars rollover or have a single scratch. And the chance to Kazunori don't want to add damage.

I don't care about damage, sure i will love if it is added but, weather conditons sounds much better to me.
 
My theory on the 2 versions...

Full Current Basic Game, $60

Full Current Game, and a ticket to all future DLC - $100 (possibly some bonus content in the form of special liveries and such, nothing performance related)

Prologue + Basic Game = $100 package mentioned above 👍

I mostly agree with you. However, considering the “Birds” and “Skypaths” figures suggested by the second wind, I believe a more appropriate wording would be GT5 “Complete” and GT5 “Unlimited” (or “the sky’s the limit” regarding previously used metaphors:dopey:)

Twice the price of a regular full game would also be my personal limit for a “free DLC access” version of the game.

If Amar was getting 2nd hand information then he wouldn't have a non disclosure agreement. So he must be getting 1st hand information and either be working or testing for Sony Europe mate.

Sorry, I was unclear about that. For me, 1st hand information is actually playing the game, which I think he isn't. 2nd hand information is getting a whitepaper/info from a spokesperson/whatever, which I think he is. It's still solid, official information, it's just that I don't think he got it from actually playing a press sample.

i am sorry again for my bad grammar and english:) yes i now that, i said gt hd! :) so the thing is, they never bring out gt hd game? so they put this things in gt 5 for sure, that mean they will put damage! you asked your self how i know that? kaz is expert? do you think he would work on damage mode a year (maybe more maybe less) and then to know that they can not use damage in game becouse a some car manufacture? i dont think so.. i think that is marketing, they know how to interest costumer!
 
It maybe old (I remember it) but I noticed something amusing since last I read it:

They hope to add more cars from the Ferrari line up, including older models, but won't be including Formula 1 models.

This was about a year and a half before we got the F2007 in GT5P spec II

Yeah, I'd be another one to pay whatever they wanted for the ultimate version. I expect though that to maximize the sales potential in this global economy that they would produce it at a more reasonable $99.95 USD. But if it is $120... well, I do have a job for a reason... ;)
 
hazzy :) you are right, but this was a demo? not a full game with 770car and51 track like they said in the interiew. logical speaked is that they all of thing that they said for gt hd will be in gt 5!?

GT HD Classic was 770 cars 51 tracks (GT4 with higher res textures, so pretty much GT4), GTHD Premium was the GT5 based GT HD. That was the original plan. It got changed to GT5P only and a GT HD premium got given as a demo. GTHD Classic was scrapped.

Even tho this is GT HD... its part of GT5 development and all the features you want. That quote says that there will be mods for cars!

I bet they did start working on damage in 07. And I am sure from day ONE we will have damage but for race cars and tuned cars only. But who knows we might get "Lesser Arcade" kind of physics for crashes in normal cars.

For me.. GT5 will be all that it will and can be.. all our speculations will be in GT5 game.
 
So we will probably have to wait for E3 to get some news about GT5. Since GT Planet is one of the biggest GT sites/forums, cant GT Planet send some MODs to E3 and do story and maybe even a private interview with PD? I bet if PD was there at E3, they would gladly do private interview with most loyal fans out there.

GTPlanet is the biggest GT forum and i think Jordan said that he will be at E3 keeping us updated on any GT5 bombshells let loose there.

Even the most cutting-edge proffesional amar riddle translators have stated that their translations are still rumors....just like they were last year...and the year before that...and the year before that........
