Hehe..Your and I are just the opposite mate :)

I can't seem to stand the Zonda. I've tried it at a bunch of races, including the 4 hour Nurburgring Enduro. Not very convincing. The Saleen, meanwhile, just seem to handle beautifully for me.

Regarding the VW, you should give it a shot. I took it for the 200 mile NY race.

That's weird. What's your settings on the Saleen? Perhaps you've found some magical way of tuning it or something.

Hi i'm new to the forums. I hate the NSX cars. They understeer like hell and their acceleration is poor and their max bhp is lame. Long Live the AMG Mercedes CLK-GTR Race car '98.

extreme disagreement

You could keep up with the faster ones like the Ford gt-lm, but it's not worth it for 1'000'000 credits despite it being cheaper than the average JGTC racer.

Besides, the Dodge Viper Race Car is much better since it's red:dopey:

Welcome to :gtplanet:

Also,, they may understeer a lot, but thats what happens with mid engine cars. As for poor acceleration and low bhp, weight reduction kits and a better transmission may help it to go faster. It doesn't really need too much power, as the full 490 horses might make it just as fast as the nsx r lm.

Strange... I thought this was the "worst car" thread... not the "really really stupidly fast streetcars with no active downforce" thread.

Zonda can't turn, Waaaaaaay to much understeer. It feels like the steering wheel is disconnected from the wheels....even at 100km/h. Id bebetter off with the Skyline tuned to 900hp + which I own

Stock! :D No joke.... I just love the way the car handles. Few weeks ago, i did the Laguna Seca enduro with it. :)

Well..yea. The Saleen should blow away the Laguna Seca enduro. I was talking about putting the Saleen up against some Extreme-level races like the GT All stars. From what I've read, downforce is supposed to increase as the S7 gets faster.

I'm not saying the S7 should be able to handle just like an LMP, I'm saying the front-end shouldn't get so understeery just because some speed is built up. From what I've read, the S7 is supposed to be somewhat balanced at higher speeds. But in the game, this just isn't true.

First the Cizeta, now this! This tune should solve any S7 problems, while this tune is great for the Zonda.

It does with the right setup. I'll send you a PM regarding this case. ;)

Ooh, both cars coming from AMMT! :D 👍 The S7 from senamic is a good car, but it will get understeery when you try to actually push it. That Zonda tune from Lucas is even better, but make sure you don't floor the throttle too much coming out of corners. ;)

I was just giving an example actually, mate. I've used the Saleen in numerous tracks, including the 'Supercar Lounge'. I've done lots of testing at the 'Ring, and even at Le Mans, to name a few. But one circuit i tend to struggle is actually New York.

Overall, i personally think it's the best car in the Supercar series, alongside the VW Nardo.

^ I see.

I guess the ultimate test would be to enter the Saleen in the All Japan GT. I entered a Pagani Zonda in the AJGT about a month ago and it was able to keep up with all the JGTCs, but I doubt it would do well in the All Stars. Matter of fact I had to disqualify the Pagani from the AJGT because it started blowing the JGTC cars away!

And like the Saleen, the Pagani's downforce is not modifyable. So I'll try the Saleen at some point. See how it does.

I gotta say the toyota supra in gt4 is really lame compared to gt3 or gt2. I remember it being in a lot of races, but its hardly in gt4. like right now I am doing the poly cup race series and its in 5th place behind an s200 and a subaru imprezza and as the race goes on it starts to trail behind 4th place. since when are supras so lame that they cant keep up with s200 s. its not my car the comp is driving it, I am driving a tvr griffith and im blowing it away.

I have a long weekend this coming one. I'll see what i can do with the Saleen mate. I'll try and test it out in various championships.

In the Polyphony cup the only the Supra Sz-r shows up. The Sz-r has a little over 200 horsepower while the Rz has 320, which obviously makes a huge difference.

I think the Supra RZ, being one of my favourite cars of all time is a very good car. But it is plagued by the same problem in real life as it is in the game (Referring to the RZ model). The weight balance is not remotely even, the engine is too far forward, the car is too long and doesn't have enough rear grip and doesn't produce enough downforce either. If you tune this car (Stage 5 Turbo?), it has problems with traction so it takes quite a bit of skill to drive. Maybe i should get someone onto tuning one for me... I've tried and i'm useless :dopey:

It is by no means the worst car though, the TVR Speed 12 has a lot more problem with traction.

Oh no..double post! Sorry!

Is it irony that you made a triple post by pointing out your mistake in double posting? :sly: Sorry I just had to mention that :P

The Daimler Motor Carriage. This thing won't even do 50mph!

What would you expect of an automobile (one of the first!) which was made during a time when most transporation was delivered via equine means? :D

Panoz Esperante GTR-1. A complete rip off at 4,500,000cr. The acceleration is bad for a race car, the tyres wear out quickly (even super hard), the top speed is low, and it looks damn ugly.

The Panoz is pretty bad, you would think at over 700 horsepower you could trounce some of the cars in its class.

The Ruf Ctr2 is on the verge of being bad for me. The handling isn't all the way there, and in a drag race it would barely beat the Ctr yellow bird (in a matter of fact, if you rev before starting the yellow bird will beat it)

the panoz is the worst GT1 class car. Its worse than the mclaren f1

The worst car i've ever driven is the Pagani Zonda. (all three of them(not the race car)) they have no handling, no accelaration, no breaking, no nothing. I used it as a bumper car and had more then then actualy racing.

Wow, you're kidding!?! How come I keep hearing this? I entered the lowest-powered Zonda into the All Japan GT not long ago, and actually had to disqualify myself because the car was out-handling everyone else in those corners! Even with minimal power, it was too good. AND it hasn't got modifyable downforce...can't attach a wing kit.
