pejorative sense referring to white people?
Had to google that as its a term Im not familiar with so I meant the former, but also using the meaning that is of crazy, “drving me banannas, nuts, crackers.

As in crazy(crackers) the cheese worker doesn’t know what cheese is.

Calling New York City "the City". - that one really annoys me

Ontario drivers. Bunch of maniacs.

And the "plebes" might all have remarkable talents that you would never know either - because it's a customer-employee conversation and not Tinder or LinkedIn.

All they want is the guy who probably works near the cheese to help them out finding cheese. It's not too much to expect the shelf-stacker to help instead of just looking down his nose at them like he's a Supreme Court Justice.

But it's a customer-employee conversation and not Tinder or LinkedIn, for all they know that shelf-stacker may just BE a Supreme Court Justice.

Can y'all just leave the guy alone?

🤬
My comment was a general one. Not in particular directed at the "guy" but all comments regarding this cheese conversation. And I thought it was a marvellous find of mine that I had to share. :D

BTW some of the more difficult English puns were confusing. I had to read and re-read these comments many times, look up some words on duckduckgo before I even understood what was going on.
Talking about confusion and annoyance.

Annoying people who send you walls of text message but you can't block them because they are a person you have to deal with I wish mobiles had a feature where you can just ignore the texts and have them not come up on screen but still be on the mobile but other people's text get a priority over them and I want the same with phone calls.

I’m pretty sure that’s possible on some phones. I was getting loads of marketing junk from my network and found I could set them to ‘ignore’.

Even better; a "return to sender" feature. But that would be annoying for the other person.

Landscaping crews still coming around at the end of November just to blow leaves around. It's time to let us get some morning rest. Nothing but noise pollution

Right? Why can't people deal with their own leaves on Tuesday afternoons instead of hiring others who work full days, which inevitably means they're going to be making noise somewhere in the morning? Better yet, just let the leaves sit until they either decompose, killing off the lawn in the process, or clog the storm drains so that other others have to spend all day cleaning those out, which inevitably means they're going to be making noise somewhere in the morning.

I had that at work last week. A gardening crew looking after the landscaped common areas around the business park. A guy with a leaf-blower literally spent hours trying to shift leafs off the car park. It's November, so that means in the UK that the air is constantly damp and the ground constantly wet - whether it's rained or not in the past few days, there's just not enough sunshine or temperature for that dampness to evaporate. Doesn't matter how powerful your leaf-blower is, you're fighting a losing battle against sodden piles of dead plant material you are managing to move at a glacial pace. Just use a ******g brush mate and spare my ears. Picking each leaf up one by one and placing it in the back of his pick-up would have been quicker.

Big lies. They are biodegradable and it's only a major issue if they are smothering the lawn to the point that it's like a blanket of snow. It's not that bad around here. Also the grass goes dormant over the winter anyway, and if some dies they always throw down seed in the spring so problem solved.

Yeah, I don't get that. What's more nuts is they're likely paid by the job and not the hour, so they're actually losing money.

They are biodegradable
I'm aware of this, which is precisely why I noted the potential for decomposition.

With crews coming around to deal with the leaves, I imagine it isn't.

Pity that grass seed doesn't flush the storm drains.

It's not an issue because there aren't many trees around here and when it's been windy and rainy they get blown/washed away naturally. I live in area with a well built sewer system so I guess that's not much of an issue here. I'm also close to a main road so there's that. In my specific situation where I am, we don't need them right now. Can't say the same for everywhere I guess.

MANDATORY 2X3 HAIRCUTS AT MY SCHOOL. For oh so long, I have asked over, and over, and over again why is a 2x3 haircut mandatory for school? I get it with uniforms, and IDs. It distinguishes you as a person from that school. But what the hell is the haircut requirement for? It doesn't necessarily distinguish that I'm in that school, nor does it affect my studies. Asking teacher after teacher looking for a good answer, I am given none.
"It's part of the school uniform. Without your haircut you are in an incomplete uniform." But is the haircut classified as part of the uniform? Why is it needed for us to be distinguished as part of this school? Does it even distinguish us as part of this school, when every single school does it?
"Because it's the rules." I. AM. ASKING. WHY. IT'S. IN. THE. RULES.
"Because the school wants to teach you to be tidy and neat." If that's the case, then does having long hair teach me more about tidiness and neatness? Knowing how to ponytail properly, how to put on a headband without any of your hair falling out, doesn't that teach me more about neatness and tidiness than simply cutting my hair and not giving another damn about it? The girls have that rule, so why can't we?

I've constantly gotten into trouble with my hair, and I nearly wasn't permitted to take final exams as well as sign my clearance for me to move on to Grade 12. It's petty, I know, but GIVE. ME. A. STRAIGHT. ANSWER. PLEASE?

Now I'm semi-bald to shut the damned teachers up
Though mandatory haircuts are not a problem for me, I do know how you feel about people not giving straight answers.

Me and my family were at a mall recently getting some lunch, I got two slices of pizza and I was at a table waiting for the rest of my family to come. My dad told me to wait for my mom to come before I start eating. I did for a minute or two, then I thought to myself, they would be waiting on me to finish eating in the end since the slices I had were abnormally large and plus they would probably be cold by then. So I asked him why he wanted me to wait and his only answer was "Because!" and he wouldn't bother to tell me.

Thankfully we explained to him why I needed to go ahead and start eating and luckily I did. It was a good thing too because it took about 20 minutes before my mom arrived and in the end, my mom would've wanted me to go ahead anyways. (she told me) I still don't know why my dad couldn't be bothered to answer me though.

Eating together as a family can mean a lot to some people, no matter where you are eating. At our house we always have dinner together at a certain time and it's just been that way. If someone was a little late getting to the table you waited for them. In your situation your mom (if she has her own cell phone) could have let you guys know she was gonna be late.

Oh I know that, my family is more or less the same way. However in this situation, it made little sense to wait since I already had my pizza, which again the slices were quite large and we had had no idea when she would get here. Plus, in the past if I ever got my food already (from another place I should note) and they were still waiting, much like this situation, they would let me go ahead anyways.

Maybe, but to be fair, it was very crowded at the mall we went to and she probably couldn't have since she had to pay attention to her surroundings.
