Things you DON´T WANT to see in GT6.

I was wondering the same thing. Gejabo's reply made no sense to me. He doesnt even want paint in the game?

- No "catch the rabbit" seasonals anymore. They are boring as hell and what kind of race is it, when everyone starts with this stupid flying start system, which gives the first car a 30 second lead.

- B spec mode... Sell it as DLC for people who like it...

I don't want to see:
-More than 5 classic tracks (From previous GT games like GT4 and such).
-rolling starts on every event
-Standard cars

I don't want credits to be easily earned. Gran Turismo was a lot more fun when it was first released and challenging to reach level 40.
Yeah, no it wasn't. Unless "fun and challenging" to you mean "boring and repetitive."

- Opera (or any kind of Classic Music) in the soundtracks.
If GT6 has custom soundtracks as an option again, what difference does it make if PD choose to include classical music?

Rallying
Drag racing

Never been able to see a straight answer to this sentiment.

Why because if you're like me and many others you don't want to waste 24 hours trying to complete a A-spec 24 hour endurance in fact any race that takes longer than 2 hours I'm out of it.

I think AI being part of an endurance race team is different from B-spec.

Regardless I don't want to have any part in those type of endurance races.

In fact I never completed the 9 hour, 4 hour, or either 24 hour endurance races in GT5.

As for the thread I agree an end to every race having a rolling start it annoyed me to no end, and how did B-spec get a standing start I always found that funny lol.

Classic music in a racing game? In my opinion, everything.

GT5 was or should I say is :dopey: a semi-simulation of Professional Racing. Pro racers are essentially gentleman. They're not the typical guy in a slammed hatchback driving through the middle of the town with the windows down and degenerate songs that have no actually musical prowess but just a hell of a lot of bass. Bottom line is some people like that sort of music. If there is to be a free-roam mode then it would make sense to have relaxing music so you could just chill. In my honest opinion, other may disagree but I think there should be not less but even more varieties of music.

Are you sure these are things you DON'T want to see or are these this you do want in the new game?

Yes pretty sure.

I'd like Them to go back to the essentials.
Only time I ever use the paint chips is to differ from my friends when doing a one make compatition online.
But even that I can do without.

I also know this won't happen, but the question is what do You don't want to see in GT6 ;)

Haha ok, I like most of those things, just not nos and cops and robbers. Personally I don't want anymore standard cars, and no limits on credits.

I don't want menu music that you can't change. Namely in the dealerships, tuning, and GT Life. People put hundreds of hours into this game, how did nobody think this could get repetitive?

I also don't want A-spec races that are so incredibly restrictive. I have cars that I love but never race because so few of the races allow them.

- This clumsy Drift Mode with flawed scoring scheme, forcing everyone to use the Speed 12 in CS tires.

I don't recall anyone ever forcing me to use the Speed 12.

Here's my list:

In no particular order

No standard cars
Multiple variations of the same model car
Poor engine sounds
The small selection of rims available (Need a much bigger selection with manufactures too)
That bloody annoying song that cannot be turned off
Classical & lounge music (A racing game needs music that makes you want to race not fall asleep)
The 20 million limit
The level 40 limit
2 used car dealers (Just have one where all cars are available all the time)
The paint chip system (Paint should be available to buy anytime you choose. Even chrome)
The rubbish AI
The boring seasonals (Especially the time trial & drift)
NOS (I know it's not in GT5 but i don't want it in GT6 either)
Comfort tyres (Can't see the point in having these. Have standard car tyres when a car is bought new & keep the sports & racing selection)

I know most of these have already been mentioned & if i think of more i'll add to this list.

Never want to see the following issues from GT5 in GT6

1. Standard cars and tracks
2. Bad selection of cars for every manufacturer
3. Any PS2 content from GT3 or GT4
4. Bland and dull menu's from the 16-bit era
5. Same variations of cars
6. Unrealistic 16-bit vehicle sounds effects

B-Spec. So pointless. The most utterly infuriating part of GT5 was watching bob brick against the Armco into the chicane at Monaco, *lap after lap*. Or keep stabbing the throttle and ruining his rear tires at Grand Valley. Or inexplicably drop a 10-second lead in the last two laps at Daytona. And there's nothing you can do about it except scream at your tv like an impotent jerk.

AI that nearly *stops* on corner exits. On the racing line. While blocking the middle of the track. Sideways.

I think the music is fine - jazz/lounge helps me calm down between races (I'm a metalhead but still enjoy a bit of smooooooth jaaaaaazz :) I never play music while driving anyway. One exception, I don't really like hearing "The Entertainer" looping in GT Auto, not sure why but that song feels out of place.

Standards.
Paint chips.
Experience points and the level system.
Credit limitation.
Different car/tire physics for on- and offline.
''Compulsory'' B-Spec mode.
Duplicates.

I think I'll add agreement that the xp/level system was kinda pointless. Just make the license test tiers correspond with the A-Spec tiers and be mandatory, then give us good strong A-Spec events.

Standard cars - No ****ing way! Waste of time, money and makes a 'modern' 2011 Game at bit old and mind my of the old Nintendo Pixel games, where a pixel is approx 3x3mm.... not cool!

The music is horrible in all GT games. Put new music in and maybe different kind of music.

Cr. limit should be removed + the Car Level-limit..

The damage in GT5 is unrealistic - when you drive up behind a car in front of you, the bumper just gets deformed - no broken lights, shcrates or anything.

15% American??? More like 40% American, 20% Japenese, 25% german. America makes the best cars. No doubt.

Nope, plenty of doubt. They make some good and very good cars but i'm sorry but they cannot match the variety of European and Japenese cars, the first percentages were fine, maybe something like 45% Japenese/Asian 35% European 18% American 2% Australian (12 cars in a 600 car game, 20 in a 1000 car game).

The limit on value of vehicles that can be sent, also the limit on the number of vehicles that can be sent per day.

- standard cars
- standard tracks
- no more than 3 types of each car generation
- no EU, J, US versions of one car (only difference is often only this "J" letter in name)
-Classic music, My Chemical Romance and Dubstep in any form in intro, outro movies, other movies
- (racing) tyres which dont last at least 4 laps on nordschleife at one stint.
- (whole) Menu loading times longer than 0,5s (no pre-race)[/B]
- Menu (esp. GT Auto) animations.
- garage which is impossible to organize with more than 100 cars.
- no drivetrain swaps please
- engine swaps
- Helmets, suits given as a daily/race "bonus". Better be allow us to create our own from scrap.
- Paint chips (same as above)
- museum cards (same as above)
- poor online code
- poor lobby options
- X20xxs
- over 50% japanese cars (are OK, but its not all)
- separate Bspec
- UCD at all
- level system
- difference in online and offline physics
- rolling start
- catch the rabbit Aspec
- elevator music in menus (i feel sleepy everytime, which is not good to play)
- generally no more than 3-5 menu songs, quantity is not quality.
- endurance races where you as yourself have to do 24 hours alone!
- still annoying tyre screech
- very poor car sounds
- PNAU - Baby
- budget limit
- veeery slow load up of the game itself
- AI which brakes when you are at their back and let you pass even in fight for position

Bonus
Online kids, which are only crashing into me, not racing :)

My biggest gripe right now is a B-spec mode that are EXACT replicas of the A-spec mode. If there is going to be a separate mode for B-Spec, at least do things more uniquely. As of right now, it's not deep enough to have its own mode.

Credit limit - If there is one, 20 million is just ridiculous.

Slight variation in car model - Seriously, what's the point of having two cars that look exactly the same thing with no real noticeable differences in performances.

I'm fine with everything else that's mentioned so far.
