Things you DON´T WANT to see in GT6.

Plus, they are all real races. This is the Real Simulator, you know.

Thx :D

24h races are important in my opinion. They just need to make them more realistic.

For example:
- Add the option to change driver with B Spec driver in A Spec.
- realistic cars on track. No Le mans on 24h Nurnburgring
- different classes
- license GT3 cars like other racing games already have

I just think 24h races are the best part of motorsport in real life and in GT. And everyone can play them in GT. Casual gamer can save the progress after less than 10 minutes. Ok nobody would do that but it is possible. The player can play as long they want to play.

Motorcycles, Cape ring, Chamonix, forced generated tracks (seasonals), GT5 standard detailed cars, travel meter that doesn't count online free run, levels, B-spec, Rally, Nascar, Formula 1, paint chips, karting. And sure some other things.

Just asking, why don't you want Formula 1 or rallying?

What's wrong with the schwimmwagen und kublewagen? jay leno tank car isnt silly, he drives it every day!

Because they are pointless in a racing simulation. Plus:

They don't have premium cars to compete with. PD could have created 2-3 premium DTM cars instead.

In the past the DTM had only 2 cars.

Gejabo
Liverie editor
Rallying
Drag racing
Drifting
Optical tuning
Paint
racing suits
Free roam
NOS
Cops and robbers

1) you spelt livery wrong and
2) Why no livery editor or rallying?!

Everything except Museum cards and cars (but you can't drive them) and make it a collecting game, something like this:
Gran Turismo 6: The real collecting simulator :dopey:

Please tell me what makes them pointless. I have won races in them.

The question was "things YOU (ie individuals who reply) don't want..."
I've named a few cars I don't want. I find them silly, and think cars with no real racing heritage or history should be included in the next game.
I never expected to be grilled on the subject and made to justify my reasons in explicit detail :nervous:

The only reason is: I don't like them at all :sly:

I wasn't "grilling" you, I was asking for you to expand your opinion.

Assuming you meant shouldn't be included that would exclude a helluva lot of cars, since a lot of roadcars in GT5 don't have any racing heritage at all.
Or is it simply that if you did like them you wouldn't even mention those criteria, which begs the question why you've mentioned those criteria in the first place?

Things I don't want? Crappy, braindead AI. I could live with just about every other shortcoming, but if the AI is going to be so bad that you have to give it a minute's headstart then you might as well not have other cars on the track and just call it a simulator and not a racing game. You can't use online as a band-aid for this...

Reasons why KY should consider my one request...
I have been playing GT since the first came out. I drive a great car in real life. After a day of Diablo III, or MW3, or Arkham City, or Resident Evil, I always come back to playing GT.

The one thing I do not want to see in any future Gran Turismo game is the Encyclopedia approach.

Kaz said long again he wanted to make something like an encyclopedia for the auto industry as a game. I'd say he's done a pretty good job between cars I'll never race and museum cards I don't even take the time to view.

Get rid of all the cars that were never meant to be real driver's cars. Cut the car list down by 600 cars if necessary, then re-build without lemons and include as much as possible for each company without being overly redundant, but only with sporting cars.

No more lessons on economy cars of the past. :irked:
(btw, I want to see the R205 and S206, not the subbie 360 from 60 years ago) :banghead:

I disagree, normal cars are part of the main appeal of GT and are often more fun to drive and tune than a lot of the very samey supercars, and I think generally that new super/racecars should be added, but the 'everyday' side of things should not be forgotton, and I am sure many others agree with this. Also, the Car Encyclopedia idea is one of Kaz's main goals for the perfect GT so the chances of him dropping that idea are very slim at best. However I do agree that the Museum cards are a little pointless.

But then again, I've only played GT since GT3 so Kaz will probably choose your idea instead ;)

When I think of everyday cars I think of a the new Honda Civic, Ford Fusion, Chevrolet Cruze, Toyota Camry.

Somehow none of those cars were in GT5!

What are GT5's everyday cars? Dai-crap-sues? Endless variations of Miatas? Everyday cars being a big part of GT is a myth. The truth is the car roster is awful, outdated and only (overly) represents Japanese sports cars. When Forza came on the scene this became abundantly clear.

Why are there more Skylines in GT5 then the entire Ferrari roster? 11 Ferraris but 40 Skylines?

Why does everybody get up in arms when supercars are mentioned? Theres maybe a dozen supercars in the world that if added would quiet 95% of those wanting more. Its not like we want 100 of them

Did you really just say that the Honda Civic is not in GT?
