Things You Want To See In GT6 Besides Vehicles and Tracks

I think GT5 should take notice of mods. People love them maybe be able to make cars lower in gt6 and remove wings. In Forza I think you can swap an engine to :) TAKE NOTICE GT5

And they should allow all rally & race cars to be painted with any color and allow their wheels to be changed but sadly, PD doesn't even take a slight effort to hear what we want about the car customization.

It's would be nice to be able to do that. If I remember correctly licensing is the issue with that, and not PD's fault.

I would like the game to tell you how far ahead/behind opponents are (other than the leader). I doubt it though.

- Introducing spacer for wheels, hence making 'flushed'-cars

Sorry man, then Im wondering why wheels on drift cars dont fall off going sideways.

I think what Custom878 is trying to say is that it's better to just have a width option for rims and not have to deal with spacers.
I also personally think spacers on the S15 would look bad. Just moving the thin wheels outward will look bad imo, just give it some wider rims.

im sorry if these ideas are already there, but i didnt get time to read them all so...
I would like to see the abilty to give cars names (like idk human names and things)
i would also like to see player damage; if you crash too hard you can injure yourself, limiting you physical abilitys

I would like to see, (like everyone else) a livery editor (allowing you to upload a livery template and attatch it to the car), but also a feature that would allow us to upload our own songs onto our playstation and put them in a radio section that could play in your car as you drive.

DLC of all the D1GP cars.

People moan about the sounds, but its not the sounds that are the problem - its the sounds in "road / dials " view mode that are the problem. The sounds in bonnet mode are really much better, but I need dials to drive, not the horizontal strip. Just re-use the sound samples used in "bonnet" view mode in "dials" view mode, and i'm good.

Actually some of the Drift cars do :dunce:

Here, have a read. Different guys who drift and use spacers:

Anyways I would like to see the options of spacers and other things in my previous post.

Shouldn't have spacers in the game, just a "wheel width" adjuster and a "wheel offset" adjuster in the tuning settings. That's called "doing it properly".

PD needs to start implementing more realistic horsepower and torque numbers along with engine notes. A Nissan Skyline GTR, a Subaru Impreza STi (2.5liters not the jdm 2.0), a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo and a Toyota Supra can make well over 800+ hp/tq with proper modding. Not once have I heard my stock STi sound like a real STi in GT5. Bring the real world tuning, modding and swapping abilities to GT6. It only makes sense to do so. I mean what is so difficult to have swaps and combos? You should be able to have the ability to swap heads from other motors and swap entire motors. Look at the Mazda Miata. I've seen those cars get rotary swapped before (motors swapped in from the RX7). Another thing, why can't we change rear diff ratios? These are the things we want PD. Be more realistic or stop calling your game a "simulator".

1. Just because a car can make x power doesn't meant it can do it reliably

2. How is less power unrealistic? :dunce:

3. The Impreza in GT6 is a JDM model. It uses a completely different motor from the American version and sounds different.

4. Diff gear ratio is in the transmission settings (which is stupid.)

The ratio in the trans part and the STi motor I obviously noticed because I mentioned that I want the USDM version 2.5 as well and cars can be made to have reliable power. Plenty of cars are high powered and reliable. I just want realistic numbers. If we had that sense of realism then hackers would steadily decline. What I meant by unrealistic is that they obviously held back on showing true potential from the cars. Look at Forza. They aren't calling themselves a "simulator" but still manage to get things right. It just doesn't seem right IMO

So you think having realism to the game wouldn't make it fun?

To a point. It annoys the hell out of me when people just dog PD to be realistic in every aspect possible. Realism does not equal fun. It you want to race a car in such realistic measures then go to a local track that does track days. While I am not saying they have to just go to cartoony lengths, such as Modnation Racers or LittleBigPlanet Karting, they should at least balance it out. Make things fun yet plausible. Why can't I put 4 turbos in that concept Silverado? It's possible...it would guzzle gas and corner maybe even worse than the Veyron...but possible. Why can't the Tank Car have a Fully Custom Transmission? The Red Bull X1 does, and that car is fake. This isn't realism...this is logic. I understand why the Tesla and by Concept Car don't have them, but the Tank Car should NOT be an exception. I would also like to see Nitro make an official return and make sure the AI don't cheat and use Super Soft tires...that's just a troll move.

How about a community that doesn't complain about realism? Or better yet, a game that is actually fun.

All these years playing Gran Turismo, all the while i thought i was having fun. Now i have to figure out what fun is.

Going back to the OP and avoiding further sarcasm ...

How about having Pirrelli world challenge as one of the events? There are at least three GT academy winners driving on the league. They have varied cars as well. Should be a cool event. They'll have to bring back Sonoma (Infineon) raceway for this too.

I'd like to be able to aim headlights. The high beams in GT5 don't do any more than light up more around the sides and nothing else in front of the car. Some cars even have better low beams on night tracks.

True, but:

1. You don't really need ludicrous speed power for a decent car.

2. Modifications in gt5 are very limited compared to older games, so I assume gt6 will fix that.

I agree to an extent but logically speaking it would be logical to have realism if GT is set around being a simulator. That's there main pitch about the series. As for nitrous, I can agree on that being implemented but meth injection would be cool too. As for the tires, they're working with Pirelli (dont quote me on this) to make a more realistic tire model so we'll have to see how all that has changed.

Yes but the cars have the potential to reach those power figures and as a game that pitches itself image to its consumers as a "simulator" don't you think it's only fair to reach those realistic potentials? I hope you're right about GT6 fixing mods available because the fact you are restricted from turbocharging or supercharging any car is ridiculous. I wish we could raise the boost levels on our cars and if the motor blows, we are presented with the option to either swap or buy back a stock engine built to previous specs.
