Additional trade slots as a daily login bonus, 5 logins mean 1 extra trade slot.
A "sliding" scale for the AI, as there is in the Arcade Mode, this suits casual and hard core gamers.

Apologies if these have already been suggested.

Leaderboards! I don't understand how you can have a race game without leaderboards. Imagine going to a real life race and nobody knew who won? Doesn't make sense.

I get this to a certain point. Considering the way the seasonal events are, I don't see a problem with the way they are currently.

A single button to turn off all the mics in a room.

Selective application of specific tuning upgrades in tuning prohibited lobbies. For eg. the ability to have tuning prohibited but allow for a 6 speed close ratio transmission and sports exhaust.

Online single or multiple make races with cars chosen by the host.

As above, but with spec tunes provided by the host.

Incident review available to the host after the race.

A list of who had contact and how many times, available to the host.

Toggle switch available to the host for automatic ghosting anytime someone leaves the track, comes back on, or goes backwards or is pointing at more than a XX degree angle to the racing line at any point, stationary or moving. This should occur any time cars are in proximity to you, but not if you are in no danger of making any contact, except for going backwards.

Anyone going backwards automatically ghosts but if they accelerator is also applied for more than X seconds in a reverse direction, you are automatically booted back to the pits and a PM is sent to the host about what happened. Ability to toggle this feature off and on is a given.

If your cars happens to ghost and a car behind is able to gain on you to the point where you overlap, the game should automatically slow you down a little until you are a couple of car lengths behind the car currently overlapping you.

An option available to the host to have cars all ghost if contact is imminent in the first few corners and not do so for the rest of the race after the field is sorted out.

Larger fields available for lobby descriptions.

Separate fixed lobby designations for shuffle, spec, recommended garage, private leagues etc.

The ability of a host to permanently fix certain aspects of the lobby, that can't be changed even after they leave. Things like PP limits, tire limits, tuning prohited etc.

In order to enter a private league lobby, you will enter the room as normal, but the host has an option for 10-15 seconds of rejecting you if he doesn't recognize your PSN ID, and can reject you with one button, while remaining on the track.

More sort categories for Open lobbies, like PP, weight, HP, tires, spec, shuffle etc.

The ability of a departing host to designate their replacement, as opposed to the next person in line getting the job.

Automatic boots (from the hosting spot, not the room) for hosts that are inactive for X minutes to avoid the host that takes over automatically but isn't there.

I would love to see an event generator of some sort make a return to this game, like the one that was in GT2. However, it should be more customizable to where you can choose how many AI to go against, how difficult they are, what track you race on, the ability to choose between a single race or points styled championship etc. Like in Gran Turismo PSP; the harder you make it, the more cash you get for winning.

One thing that always bugged me about GT games was the prize cars. I almost always received a prize car in a color that (I thought) didn't look very nice on it. You should be able to pick what color your prize car comes in. Perhaps PD will develop a better painting system like Forza's or Midnight Club's to where you can just choose your colors freely, no more paint chips. If paint chips must return, make them unlimited, or give multiple uses for one chip so that the very rare and special colors have better meaning to them.

This next thing I'm not super concerned about if it happens this way or not, but I would like the used car lot to be trashed. Make it so every car is available from the getgo in the dealer like in Forza 4. Putting 'standard' cars along side 'premium' cars in the dealership might seem sketchy, but I don't see how that would be a problem if the 'standard' cars had 'premium' external appearances. If the used car lot stays however, I won't be disappointed at all. If it does stay, then PD should bring back the usage of multiple used car lots (one for 90s cars, one for 80s cars, one for race cars, one for very old pre 80s cars etc). It makes what you're looking for less tedious, and in my opinion, more enjoyable to the car hunter. To give more meaning to the prize car system, they could make some cars "not for sale" so that you would have to win an event or meet a certain condition to obtain it. Then it would be free to buy in the dealership (or not, but this brings me to my next thing.)

BRING BACK THE ABILITY TO CLEAR YOUR RECORDS FOR AN EVENT SO YOU CAN WIN A PRIZE CAR AGAIN.
This may just be what ticked me off most about GT5, not being able to win prize cars over and over again for quick money. Yeah yeah I know, there's seasonal events that you can partake in to get rich super fast...but I live out in the middle of nowhere, so my internet isn't good enough for such online features. Earning money to get cars like the 2J or the GT40 race car was extremely tedious and frustrating for me. It seems that nowadays most game developers focus too much on the online community, and not enough on the offline players. When making games, it is imperative that you TRY to make as much people happy as possible so that you can make the most out of your sales, and get results that are numerous. So please oh PLEASE PD, give us offline gamers a treat. :)

Welp, that's my list. Sorry for the tl;dr! XD

Back for some more:

A GTPlanet liveried car to acknowledge the creators and users of this site. Have a vote on which car should be "GTPlanet" liveried.

You really like the Tank Car, don't you? :sly:

On that note, there should be turbo upgrades at least for the Tank. The one in GT5 is years out of date and makes something like half the current horsepower.

You're right, Leno's car is making about 1500.

Last night, I was taking some photos and watching some of my replays (man, there was a time when i was absolutely rubbish on Nurburgring. Now I'm mediocre :yuck:).

And then I thought that would be cool if PD develop something to get your replays to a MP4 file on an USB stick. Then you could, of course, post it on YouTube. This feature could also work on get those GPS based footages as well.

I realize that now is too late on the development of the game, but it would be awesome have something like this. Not everyone have Avermedia cards, and besides, this kind of feature on a PS3 game would be great. After all, quick video posting is something that PS4 should do smoothly, and would be nice to see the old PS3 doing some sort of video capturing.

Yes I do. It's like that kid that is fat but really cool to hang out with despite bumping into everything.

A game that isn't broken on it's Day1 release, that isn't glitchy or far from a true finished product.

There, I said it. :mischievous:

This flip-flop'y behavior from PD lately, combined with the lack of information that was to either be discussed or mentioned or explained, as well as their track-record with past releases, honestly has me considering canceling my pre-order, I'm not going to pay full price for a game that is 80-ish% completed broken.

(Bring on the hate !, lol)

Why you...! That's understandable though. I'm going to wait until prices drop, and look at reviews for the game. See what's what. When I'm convinced, I'll buy it.

I want to see a better filter for online.

Too many types of car were left out. Muscle cars only, left out the RM 1969 Camaro/1970 Challenger models. SuperGT 500 left out the 300 class cars (I understand there is no current way to reward multiclasa cara but, you can race a 300 class car in the SuperGT GT MODE EVENT in A/B-spec).

We should be able to narrow choices down to "Mazdas Only", "Nissan/NISMO Only", "Mercedes Only", etc.

For example: Online room
"Nissan/Nismo Track day"
"Fuji Speedway F"
□Road Cars
□Race Cars
□Tuner Cars
■All types
□One Make Series (type in car name)_________
■Choose from Host garage
□Choose from GT6 Car list

Just a little bit of what I had in mind. Hopefully there is a filter such as this for GT6

Hate? More like high five.

Seriously though, like others before me, I've started digging through code and finding all the items and game-parts that we should've gotten in-game, but never did despite paying full-price, and the amount of content with-held is just... aggravating

🤬 you PD, I WILL put a crazy turbo on my 2JZ Supra for 1000+hp of fun :D

In other words you want a controller with a million buttons, and a lobby that takes an hour to scroll down! Some good ideas though like the first corner ghosting, oh how i get annoyed when someone smashes me off on the first bend!!!

Just about everything I listed is an option available to a host or participant. Nothing requires you to use them and if you don't want to, you don't have to and it will be no different than what you are doing now. As far as the host options go, the chatter since day 1 has been that hosts don't have the ability through lobby restrictions to create the kinds of rooms they want to, to race the kinds of cars they want to. It may take a host a couple of more minutes to set up a lobby, but the reward is better, more tightly defined racing parameters and ultimately more fun for everyone.

I'll add something in.

In addition to a custom color selector, I would like paint chips to remain. However, I would like a couple modifications.

1: You can only gain a paint chip once. Period.
2: That paint chip has infinite uses.

Why #1? Well, I'm sure that there are a good handful of people that have a certain specific set of paint chips they like to use, where the other ones just get forgotten or deleted.

If you delete a paint chip, then you still have the RGBK selector.

Why #2? Because having a shortcut to my favorite paints for my cars are useful, and I don't want to have to spend 5 million credits a day just on paint chips for cars I'm tuning. I like all my 550PP cars to have the Competizione Red from the Alfa 8C.

Why not just have all the paint chips available to everyone all the time, along with the colour wheel and you pay for them when you use them. This is supposed to be a simulator, where in the real world do you have to buy an entire car just so you can have access to a certain paint colour? It's not a well thought out design, belongs in the 90's and that's where it should stay.

1. if you have Ferrari, Porsche or other cars, then have them in every mode or not at all. 2. you got speed up, slow down, maintain speed and pass options for b-spec... how about a DO NOT PASS option for your bob esp when they're on cote d'azur and circuit de la Madrid tracks!!! 3. if there's a gimmick (ie fans or lift flaps like on Mitsubishi concept, then account a realistic adjustment for PP. 4. have trades be confirmed by both parties before final trade is made to avoid having people getting ripped off.. 5. if your going to have limits on trades or gifts then 1 per acct per day 2 per console and 4 per ip address... and 6. no more 50 clones on certain models... represent ALL the great cars out there!!!
