Things You Want To See In GT6 Besides Vehicles and Tracks

I'd like a garage area where you could walk around your cars in 3D and in first person. You could then put pictures up on the walls which were taken in game or view trophies won from events and online leaderboards.

If anyone has played Sega GT 2002 or Sega GT Online, you will know kinda what I mean.

Do I have to mention PGR again...:indiff:

I'd also like all of the painting and custom parts to be done in your garage; tuning & servicing is a pointless part of the game full stop.

Although the paint preview is a big improvement on GT5, it's still cr*p and the lighting is woeful as it bears no resemblence to any other environment in the game.

You should also be able to create a driver based on your own phyique - even if it didn't effect the physics it would at least immerse you within the gaming experience that bit more.

also: Custom paints

some more of the Hidden cars (Vision) to be released , why are we waiting ......

tha track maker - be nice to see that sometime before i retire the PS

sharing ... endurance ... mo' money ...

Star-porn fetish? More like turbo-surge fetish.

Ease up on the BOV PD! An Alfa Mito DOES NOT have a BOV like that! It's not a Subaru! It comes with a factory turbo that inhibits the very sound you implement.

It was cool in GT5 when you barely heard it, or on some cars. In GT6, God forbid you have a turbocharged car. I understand if you install a turbo, you'll have that sound due to it being a custom turbo, but that shouldn't happen with EVERY factory turbo.

Indoor photo booth with adjustable backgrounds similar effect to what was in the garage of GT5 when you viewed your car.
In car shots for premiums.
Create your own custom colours.
Adjustable wheel widths, offsets etc.
Add to your own career mode with the ability to create your own championships, endurance races, AI difficulty etc to your home screen. Redo them when ever you want. Including the use of your own tracks. Share them online if you wish with the community or your friends.

Agreed you should only hear that when you do either a turbo upgrade (like Forza) or when you change the intake. Both my STi and my Evo X started sounding like I had an aftermarket BOV when I opened up the intake, especially the Evo X since it's a really short distance from the BOV to the open air filter element.

Speaking of force induction, Superchargers really need to be revisited.

Forza does much better at simulating Superchargers than GT. GT does not take into account differences between types (positive displacement vs centrifugal) which changes the boost/power output profile for example compared to N/A engines positive displacement units have less power off the line, tons of midrage torque and fall off at mid-high revs while centrifugals have a more turbo like power delivery.

For the most part GT treats superchargers like they aren't power adders at all. GT also lists cars that are supercharged as eligible to run in NA challenges (Shelby Series 1 is the most obvious one I can think of).

GAMEPLAY - Photomode
  1. Replays should be able to be finely positioned with more granular <== and ==> buttons, and with a slow motion forward and back capability. (If you have ever tried to isolate the moment of the flash of a backfire, you'll know what I want!)
  2. Ability to name and save a location in a replay to return to it later for more photos of a specific event
  3. The camera should remember the aspect ratio and Mode 1/2/3
  4. It should be possible to move the camera into the following areas to improve flexibility in angles of view, and allow the camera to get farther away from the subject. I find myself forced into using a wider angle lens setting than I like and get too much distortion.
    • Off Track locations including grandstand seats
    • Higher altitude point of view options. Think of some of those wonderful fixed cameras above Conrod Straight at Bathurst!
    • Ability to move the "fixed" cameras in space
    • Areas of the Travel Photo sets which are currently off-limits
  5. Ability to move cars and avatars closer to physical objects. Ability to place cars more flexibly. (I'm thinking of the platform at the top of the steps in Syracuse for example)
  6. Ability to save setups (cars, their positions, the avatar position)
  7. Ability to have avatars wear my face/head, and have the visor lifted and/or helmet removed
  8. More avatar gestures and movements, and make them controllable

I want GT6 to have the ability to move the camera view based on where our eyes are focusing at. For example, when I'm racing with the cockpit camera, i want the camera to focus on where my eyes are looking. If I'm looking at an apex of the corner, the camera moves there. This is better than having the cockpit view fixed. I think we can change the camera movement by using our head and a ps camera in gt 5. BUT...I want it to move with our eyes this time. To accomplish this, I think we need to wear goggles and a special ps camera. It would also awesome if there's a feature the records the eye movement too.

So yesterday I was doing an online race, and at some point in the practice period, a few minutes before the start of the race I was asking myself "what time are all this guys doing?" and I realise that you can only know that if you leave practice (and lose your position),go to watch race and then to the time board.

It would be realy nice if you could see that board wile on track via pause menu, so you can see the times without lose you position on the grid..

These need to be added:

  • Improved Transmission simulation. Eg. High rev downshifting in GT6 does not affect your weight shifting, so you can easily turn and up/downshift with no problems at all.
  • I know ABS was mentioned, but ABS 1-10 doesn't even simulate ABS. It just makes braking easier. It should auto-"pump" the brakes to slow you down instead of just making it a super smooth and powerful braking.
  • Torque steering.
Come on guys, you guys are shooting for the moon and ignoring very important things.

Ability to save part of a replay rather than a whole lap or session would be very nice.

You guys also forgot to add no super grippy BS tires that the AI uses. They'll bump you out of the way with the slightest bump, but trying to pit them is impossible. Not only that but they get speed advantages with how grippy their tires are. If I'm driving the exact same car as every other AI, they shouldn't have a higher acceleration and top speed than me.

Oh, and see them go uphill with zero traction issues while I struggle to maintain composure is BS.

Also:

2-Player racing against grid (at least 6 other cars)
2-Player racing line (my wife is upset that it was taken out)
