Things You Want To See In GT6 Besides Vehicles and Tracks

What on earth is fun about that? There is a good reason no video game has done anything like you're suggesting, because they know most people will find it pointless. Whether you like it or not GT is a racing game, always has been. It's not a live the life of owning a car game.

And no, i'm not going anywhere, i'm well within my right to say what I think of your ideas.

Listen! I have played all the GT games and it got me to the top 107th in the world on GT Academy 2012 using a wheel. It made me race go-karts in real life and will hopefully extend my racing career.

Even tough I am very good at racing and pretty much in the top 100 in the world, I'd love an idea were you could whip out your nicest looking ride and get out of the car in a car show(maybe even drive it to the car show) and lift the hood and walk around seeing other online peoples rides. This would add a massive chunk into GT called "Creativity" and that is what all of us in GT want.
 
I'm only slamming your idea as i'm allowed to, you're the one throwing out personal insults.

It's nothing to do with technology, it's that nobody wants to do it. You've still not said why you want to walk round your car or sit on the bonnet, what's fun about it? I play video games for fun, something that gets me going and excites me. I love cars and want to drive them, I see no fun in any of your ideas. I would need a very wild imagination to do so.

To the above, that works in real life because cars can be individual, there are millions out there. A game has 1000 cars or whatever, they're all the same. So why would I want to see under the bonnet of your car, it'd be the same as mine. Same goes for the rest of it, the only true unique part would be a livery and I can see that driving, I don't need you to park up and sit on your bonnet.

And what personal insults have we said?

Walking around to see other peoples cars would be a great idea. It would be better than panning and moving a camera. Also other people will be in their GT Avatars racing suits that they chose to wear. So its not all about the cars. Also you could put a screen by your car saying your best laps and best online event world rank with number of cars and milage covered.

This would be a very interesting and great social thing to do. End of.

Same here. I would at least like to be able to park my car, turn off the engine, get out, and sit on my hood. Maybe even be able to walk around. Imagine being able to decorate/customize your car inside and out, and then also be able to go to car meets/shows, and show off your car. You know, park your car, get out, pop the hood open, etc. Then you could chill with friends, chat, rate cars, etc. IMO, that would be absolutely stunning.

With GT5 car selection and physics, and all of the things that you said.

Let there be no doubt, I'm first and foremost a racing driver.


But, a "car meet" idea would be great!


The thing is, I've joined a few lobbies, just to see what other car guys think of the colour I painted my Lexus SC400 dream car & the rims I chose for it.


Now, if GT6 had a livery editor, etc., with even more customization, everyone would show off their cars. I'm not kidding. Look up "Forza Garage" on YouTube. You'll find HUNDREDS of people who do that; they show off their favourite cars.


Even Jay Leno puts footage of his favourite cars on television, Simon. & they're still just pixels. Seriously, Simon K, don't attack... Appreciate, dislike, or make a joke, but don't speak derogatorily of a person with a different opinion.


People will only change their opinions to: stay out of jail, or survive (Jews during holocaust who converted to Catholicism)

I mean, trashing someone else's opinion doesn't make your opinion more attractive.

Well maybe you are just getting on our nerves. Stop being ignorant and narrow minded before you make all the thread visitors furious. Plus you're getting on my nerves.
 
Simon, as you can see, these people agree with my idea. It looks like you're the "minority" that is disagreeing here. Also, you mentioned that other peoples engines would be the same, and it would be no fun to see them. So clearly, you missed the part where I said we should be able to customize our cars and decorate them inside and out. This would allow for countless variations of originality and style. So please, stop you're negative remarks, and let us dream as big as we want, whether it comes true, or not. Everyone has their opinions, so please, stop shooting down my ideas.

You are pushing 4 of us here and just irritating us. Do not make this page full of misery and discomfort. Please just stop. And stop winging saying "But he said I'm narrow minded" That's just childish. Plus We are getting a bit annoyed with you and that's why we are using a bit more pushy words.

And besides narrow minded is not an insult, it just means you are basically not taking anybody's opinion. I have taken other peoples opinion and 4 other people have followed the same idea that I have followed.

You are only staying with your opinion even tough nobody follows and agrees with your opinion.

If nobody follows it, just stop talking about it before arguments reveal themselves.

Make sure you include getting out the car and sitting on the bonnet, I'm sure everyone will cry out for that option.

Good hell, I can't believe you! You are still acting as if you speak for everyone! How do you know "thousands" of people are disagreeing? They haven't voiced their opinion on here, and not everyone who plays GT is a member of GTP. How do you know games haven't included this feature because nobody wants it? Technogy has almost everything to do with it, you are a complete A-hole! And yes, that was an insult, I hope you liked it. I'm sick of you, I've argued with you for like an hour, because you won't shut up and let this go. You are dragging this on, and don't even try to say that I am dragging it on, because I tried to stop earlier. But ignoring a person like you, one that is leaving extremely naive and crude comments is nearly impossible for me.

You'd probably already know this but surprisingly British people like it... But I hate it as I'm half Australian...

1 year before the Olympics there was a huge riot injuring thousands in London and killing a few. The country I live in is nothing like all the world thinks it is, its more of a hell-hole...

I said thousands are not agreeeing, a factual statement.

As for the silly comment about me not liking virtual rain surely you must realise that I'm simply saying some virtual things are fun and some are not? Driving a virtual car with total freedom on a virtual track with virtual lighting and weather is fun. Getting a model to sit on a virtal bonnet for no particular reason - not fun.

He didnt just say getting a guy to sit on a bonnet. He said to walk around and even to see other peoples cars. zylacorps unlocked many things to his concept. This then adds a huge feature called "socialising" and especially "creativity" now stop saying "Oh sitting on a cars hood is fun not not not not" That was only one possibility that you seem to be hating over. you obviously didn't read all of his post as he also said about ways of customization. Its just that you cant edmit to that the rest of what he said is a good idea because you didn't even read all of his thread. Yes sitting on a hood is a bit daft but lets say if your guy/girl player stands next to his/hers own car, lets say after a period of time they automatically sit on the hood. Now please be quiet! And shut the 🤬 up!

LOL, I like your idea, but I meant being able to get out of your car, and maybe relax on the hood, like at a car meet. His choice of words confused you.

I've already said what is wrong with the rest of his ideas and how they add nothing to the game.

Stop telling me to be quiet and shut up just because you don't like what i'm saying. It doesn't work like that.
