Anyway, an update and a (pretty decent) new speed from me
. I've been trying several cars this weekend, but i must say the Gillet and my Supra are the least frustrating cars i've used. Nothing new from the Supra as of yet.
Oh and, slightly off topic, but interesting, did you know that on any session record screen you can press L3, and it will stop the camera roaming around? I found that out accidentally

Anyway, nice improvements, inching closer to the top there! The Supra's ranked third, hope you're still working on it in particular
As for the Session Record camera - I found that out somehow, yeah, can't remember why exactly I did L3 in that menu, but there you go
I seem to remember pressing something else - possibly R3 - resets the camera location, too. That could be utter rubbish, mind

I'll tell you why that was, I'd just got back from a training weekend, so I'd had about three hours' sleep in thirty-six hours of being operational in the field. So whilst it was a really great weekend, I was a bit knackered, and I couldn't see straight due to hayfever either
Now I've got to try and find the previous Supra speed as well, this could take a while with no date reference to work on

I've put the Vertigo speed up, and clocked the Supra one back to 305.00 for now, because I'm pretty certain it was 305.xx. Sorry, I don't have a quick way of finding it now

Yeah, I still have the photo here, 305.82, just to save you a lot of time. Though I wish I had managed 306 with it... My holidays start this Friday, so expect an improvement anyway soon. 👍

Won the 24 Hours of Le Mans recently, and celebrated by whomping on my new toy a bit. Speed (with nitrous) attached.

Congrats Ty, you've inspired me to use the Audi, and maybe i'll do a Non-Nitrous run when my Youtube account's working. And DE, can I ask something? What's the best speed, on the leaderboard, for PAL version? I looked back heaps of pages, which I do when bored. I'm interested in getting a new Nissan R92CP and Audi R8, which both have 7329 and 7568 miles respectively... I got a 3-week holiday now, so Monday onwards, i'll be using those cars

Seeing as nitrous-equipped and 'natural' cars are classified separately, I can put both of those R8 speeds on the Leaderboard. Despite the video managing to cut out the speedometer throughout the run, I think it's still clear enough to count as verification for a non-nitrous run. This, despite mine doing 302 coincidentally, is the first confirmed non-nitrous Audi R8; so, congratulations
All of MasterStorm's speeds are, of course, done on the PAL version of the game - so they're mostly your targets

Small note for FireFox users - I'm running FireFox 3.0 at the moment, and the 'marquee' at the top of the Leaderboard, the scrolling message saying which Leaderboard is in use, isn't displaying properly for me. I'm just seeing a one-pixel-thick line where the top of the marquee would be. Anyone else getting this? I'm hunting through the code to try and figure it out, because the one at the bottom of the Leaderboard detailing the last update works fine. Oddball.

Okay, thanks Metar, I've put in a random quick fix - basically copying the code for the bottom marquee into the place at the top, and changing the text. I'm on my laptop at the moment, on FF2.0.0.14, so naturally it works on this - but I'll check it out on FF3 tomorrow morning and see. I can't think of a good reason copying what should be the same code into place would make a difference; but then, I can't think of a good reason it doesn't work in the first place, so worth a try
No worries Ty, but just for future reference - we like to have the speedo in shot, because that way we can keep track of any fluctuations in speed that might be caused by contact or a minor wheelie, or see silly bursts of acceleration from cheat codes, etc.

Awww 🤬. At least now I know PAL users can manage over 350 miles with the Audi and Nissan! I still managed 343mph with 7000+ miles and severe bouncing, so i'm pretty confident... thanks guys 👍.All of MasterStorm's speeds are, of course, done on the PAL version of the game - so they're mostly your targets

Indeed. Just won it then, but will get some sleep now (2.40am here), and i'll work on it tomorrow. I can get the Audi another time, all I have to do is use my black GT-One...no problems at all. Or I can keep racing El Capitan and sell Minolta's for money .

Edit 2:349.77... 349.87... 350.15!!! The second lowest speed over 350mph, and the third fastest Nissan. Yay! By some coincedence, my speed will be right under your Audi DE . I'll try to get the pics and, for once, the video up tomorrow...it's not easy when you can't use YouTube...

Thanks. Maybe you will have to update your Audi...i'm getting a new one (yellow of course) as soon as I get the money. Rest assured, i'm not wanting to beat just your speed . I just wanted to get over 350mph, as until recently i thought it was impossible...
Anyway, I can post the pics of the Nissan speeds, but the video won't upload here, so i'll do it tomorrow maybe...
All those runs were in succession, and with the same setup, just to prove it depends on the corner speed.

Hey Congrats all you guys on getting your cars passed 300 w/o nitrous! Last time I was inside this thread must have been about 10 or 11 months ago and we were just trying to make TS020's go extremely fast. Anyways... At about 22 or so seconds into the video, your front tires pop up for a second or two. Now I am not Dark Elite, so it is not my call to disqualify your video, but I'm just pointing it out so you can adjust your front downforce on the nissan before the next run.
