T300RS uses power supply with classical transformer and bridge rectifier, DC OUT 25V/2A, all enclosed in tight plastic cover (not good, filter capacitor will be dry sooner)... quite interesting that they don't use switching power supply.

Pedals are fine with some well placed dense foam. A fitted drywall sanding block made mine feel just like the
brakes in my truck. I could care less about a shifter , so the modded stock pedals are a keeper for me.
Yeah my plan will be to try the bungee cords like I did with my soppy DFGT pedals. Similar end result as your foam trick no doubt.👍

I found the T500 pedals here in Brazil for a amazing price... but the shiffter is my priority now, actually is the cockpit that i'm making on my own. Just bought the materials and i'm planning to start it in the next two days.

As soon as i have some money left, i'll buy the shiffter. Really high hopes on this one.

This is interesting but expensive

Frex, the makers of high end sim raicng hardware announced on theirFacebook page a few days ago that their Sim3PedalV2 is now directly compatible with Thrustmaster wheels. They are also stating that they will work while connected to a Playstation 3 and 4. The pedals retail for 138,000 Yen which equates to $1152.02 here in the U.S. That’s not cheap, but in line with other high end hydraulic pedal sets on the market.

Based on their ordering page, it looks like you can get them with G25 / G27 direct connection as well or stand alone USB direct connection.

You can check out a video they posted of it that shows it’s connected to a T300 via the Thrustmaster Windows profile.

Since the Thrustmaster T300 RS, T500 RS and TX all share the same connector, I would imagine this would work with all three wheels and specifically the TX on the XBox One.

Here’s some specs on the pedals from their site:

Aluminum strong stiff and durable construction
Hydraulic Brake system with real hydraulic pressure sensor
Newly developed durable and precise Liner Contact-less Hall effect sensor on Throttle and Clutch
Brake maximum foot pressure can be set up to 100kg foot force
Vibration brake at setup pressure
Clutch diaphragm spring simulated clutch feel
Adjustable spring tensions
Adjustable free play distance of brake pad against rotor
Adjustable brake feel street to race
Adjustable height of pedal
Adjustable travel
Adjustable pedal angle
Adjustable pedal to pedal distance
Auto fill brake fluid from reservoir

Comes with Standalone 4096 steps USB controller for PC

Size:
Width 320mm
Length 400mm (bolt hole to bolt hole) 560mm with controller box
Height 310mm – 330mm
Weight: 11kg

Do any of you out there have this pedal set ? If so, what do you think of it ?

Well this is the only place i could find that was talking about the violent calibration of the T300,new account, first post,Hi everybody.

So is everybody's T300 doing this or just a few, the wheel works perfectly and feels great and also calibrates normally except in the violent manner it does it.Any known way to fix it.

is there a on/off switch that i don't know about.

And if i leave the wheel connected to my PC when i restart or boot it will crash my PC at start up (Win 8.1) anyone else have this issue.

Sorry to be so desperate but i don't know who else to turn to :)

If by violent calibration you mean how the wheel SLAMS against the wheelbase enough to confuse anyone it's an earthquake at 0 and 1080 degrees, then yes, I have that issue too.

I've been on the fence about contacting TM support about it because I don't think there's anything they can do as it's so common and I'm hoping it's something that can be fixed via firmware (?).

Yep that's the same way it happens with mine.I currently have a Fanatec already away for repair and bought the T300 and looks like this will have to be repaired to! .4th wheel in 3 years, can't manufacturer's build a wheel that works :(

Thanks.

i suggest not buying a ps3 for racing games. However i think that only gt6 and f12014 works with the t300. not sure.

I suggest not buying GT6 for racing either... :P (well, not for offline anyway)

If you're into racing, not just driving, then I would hold on and buy a PS4 instead, for Project CARS. Obviously, it depends a bit how much of a hurry you're in.

Feel free to ignore my comment.

If it makes you guys feel any better, the T300's calibration is softer than the TX. The TX sounds like its going to break something when it calibrates yet my TX has lasted over 10 months now without any issue. I had a T300 for a week and I agree that it does calibrate a bit harsh but still not as bad as the TX. I recently sold my T300 though since I have too many wheels and the T300 doesn't really offer me anything that I don't get from my Fanatec CSW v2, T500RS, and TX.

The TX has been out a lot longer than the T300 and they haven't fixed it on the TX yet and its even more violent than the T300. As stated in my previous post though, my TX has never broken after 10 months of use even with the violent calibration.

Thanks. this does actually make me feel a little better.i was waiting for the day my GTE wheel would brake off and role across the floor :) .

Believe me man, I've thought the same thing dozens of times over the last 10 months. Here's a tip that helps though. It always calibrates to the left side first so you can turn your wheel to the left after you shut it down so that when it starts up, it only spins to the right side violently, however you can also simply place your fingers lightly on the wheel rim while its turning and it will slow it down enough that it won't hit the stops quite so hard. It won't affect the calibration at all.

I'm pretty sure any racing game that was compatible with the T500RS is compatible with the T300RS. That should include GT5 and 6, probably Dirt 2 and 3, at least a few of the F1 games back to probably 2012 and the original Formula One game was that released on the PS3, and likely a few more that I can't recall.
