Sorry but I disagree, If you don't like it then don't buy one ...Simples
Just spent £600 on a smart TV bloody thing's come with a screwdriver oh no surely not! What a load of nonsense, I didn't realise you were the Thrustmaster sales rep.
Hi all,
First post here. I received my T300 GTE on NYE and it's the first wheel I've had since the early PS3 days when I purchased a Logitech wheel that was about 80-100 pounds (can't remember the name). Boy, is the T300 is impressive! I was blown away by its feedback. I've never felt more connected to an in-game car.
However, as I played Drive club I realised there was something not quite right. Being a bit cautious through a corner in a more powerful car I tried to ease the power on and to my surprise realised I was getting no action out of the accelerator until I hit 50% travel... so I tried the brake and guess what, same result. Thinking it may have been DriveClub, I loaded up The Crew and again had the same issues.
At this stage I decided maybe it was time for a firmware update so I turned on my gaming rig and hooked the T300 up and installed the new software. In the TM Control Panel it shows the pedals working fine from around a 10% dead zone (which I wouldn't mind at all). So, now I'm wondering if this is a PS4 related issue and decide it's time to try it with pCars on PC. The feedback in that game is incredible but I was unable to drive how I wanted to due to the fact that the brakes were literally like an on/off switch. When my foot reached 50% travel the brakes would jam on and the car would slow down way more than I intended. I tried playing with the sensitivity settings etc. and still couldn't get any improvement.
The thing I'm confused about is why in the control panel they're showing as working ok? I've seen a review on amazon of a guy who had the same problem with the whole 50% travel before any action but he didn't mention whether this was in-game or in the control panel.
I really don't want to send it back cos I've fallen in love with the actual wheel but is it my best option? I'd just buy the T3PAs if they were available
It also seems to me that in both Driveclub and The Crew, there seems to be an additional default deadzone. In these games I have about 10-20% deadzone, while in GT6 it's almost none (stock T300 pedals).

What you say about deadzone on DriveClub and The Crew kind of echoes my earlier post (only I seem to have less DZ):
New driveclub update seems to promise much for Thrustmaster wheels, including clutch support on the T500. Listed here:

just got the wheel and when playing gt6 i only get 50% brakes and when playing the crew on ps4 i get no brakes anyone who can help me here
dunno if someone already posted this
So I've decided on a wheel I'm going to get the thrust master t300 Ferrari racing wheel. I'm upgrading from my g25 so I can use my ps4 aswell What are people's thoughts? I'm looking to get a racing seat as well but have no idea what type of seat I should get.
Try reading the T300GTE manual and you will see that share button support is present on the GTE rim just like the PS rim of the T300RS. It's available by clicking the manettino switch left iirc....Nice wheel choice. You probably won't be able to use share button or option..

On the PC they are very similar. Differences:Hello! Do anyone know the difference between the Thrustmaster t300 for playstation and the tx for xbox1? i recently bought the t300 gte wheel and is waiting for it to get here
Regards
Vidarmannen
On the PC they are very similar. Differences:
- TX is 900 degrees, T300 is 1080
- same pedal set but different metal pedal faces
- T300 comes with a metal, heavier rim (GTE or PS), TX comes with a very light plastic F458 replica rim.
- TX has an Xbox IR light at the top of the wheelbase, but the internals, belts and motor appear otherwise identical
- TX has an Xbox button, T300 has a PS3/PS4 switch. You can't use TX on Playstation or T300 on Xbox One of course.
I am new to video games, been holding off for years, but finally decided to get a ps4 with the t300.Hope this isn't obvious, but when connecting the wheel to a computer and playing around with the settings(pic below),do these settings only effect games played on the computer or do the settings also carry over my ps4??
If you can add more tension/force tighten it or stretch it more away from the belt.. or rotate the belt to realigned the belt teeth with the motor.
Now I understand what people are talking about when there's a loud notch or click.. it's their belt! Try tingling with it.. move it around or tighten it.. but remember slack is your friend..
