Well done doodle! I'm currently chasing your ghost because I know that it's going to be legit. Spent most of the last tt chasing a hacked car that was using sports hard tires.lol.

Finished my first session and got a 1'51.361 for the fastest legit time so far. Lost a tenth in sector 3 from being nervous.

I'd love to have been in the passenger seat for that one!

...didn't know what to expect for this TT (only my 2nd in GT5) w the speeds, hard tires, and important breaking points .. thought it was going to be disaterous to say the least. So my approach is way different than the last (like someone also mentioned in an earlier post) to get a decent base setup and then focus on the driver and not the car so much.

So far just satisfied to take the Gold 1st time out .. Will just cruise for awhile before touching the chassis (other than tweaking the tranny a bit). ...quick lap times are obviously important but consistency is what wins races is what I was taught back in the day .. So I'll try and stay focused on consistency 👍

Followed your ghost as best I could and got a 1:55.888 on my not fully broken in Lamborghini. You really and I mean really pull ahead of me in sector three. Great time doodle and I now need to focus on braking points big time.

...glad I didn't cave and avoid the challenge of the TT!

...did have to make a few chassis adjsts .. more stability and better drive off .. Little by little bumpin up .. To 1:58.164 (Edit: 1:57.917 >> 1:57.476 >> 1:57.347)

Good initial time Skyline... Thinking I will have a tough time catching you on this TT as this is one of my worst performing tracks. Still braking in my car so may take me a day or two to post a better than 1:57 time.

Thanks mate I'm using a basic setup too and also trying to brake the car in too so might spend some time really setting it up later can see a high 52 for me being way to generous in braking zones can brake at least 25 meters later than what I'm doing and I'm not being smooth enough though ascari so it's costing me down the straight

Well I see the cheats have posted some silly times. I'm not sure what they are proving, meanwhile my master plan to hack the server and post a 0' 0.0001" lap is progressing. Then we'll see if they can break the light speed limit and post a negative time, finishing the lap before they started it.

Didn't know you could use that much of the track, WOW! Now I see why i'm at 1:57:695 and where to pick up a lot more time. Nice drivin' 👍👍👍

Just used your car mate great tune adjusted the BB to my liking and also dropped the front end abit and softened the arb in 6 clean laps I dropped I've a second on my first set of runs to 1:53.505

There has been a Fiat 500F driving 1.38.742.Watching the replay it looks like the car isn't legal at all.It has wheels 50cm outside of the car,which looks rather fun,but it seems like it has been BruteForced or something.

I agree, I watched a replay this morning before work, and was amazed how much you can cut some of the corners.

If you look back through this thread Cargorat has a link to an older thread with some tunes on it and some good advice.I am currently using an old pmjg66 tune.

Using Suba's Gallardo I've reduced from 1:56.051 to 1:54.199 pos # 180.
That's a fair bit, and which is totally due to Suba's tune.

PS, it had no miles on it so no dirty oil. And I hardly touched anything.

Had some success with the 458, but it's a bit too wild for my taste. Posted a faster time with the Aventador thanks to its 4WD. Dunno if I'll bother with the Gallardo, as I don't really prefer to use it, especially since so many other people are. I have this thing in which I like to try and be the odd guy and try not to do what everyone else does. Even though I've never come close to showing up in the top 256, I take peace in mind that I did something different.

I think I'm at ~1:57.2xx with my Aventador. If I can get down to 1:55 I'll probably be very happy.

Put my car up on share managed a 1:53.142 with it but there a low 52 with it easy it's a mix of subas gear box and LSD and my suspension

No wing, makes the car over steer for me. I'm using a "Praiano" (Thanks again 👍) tune, tweaked to my liking LP560. The 458 fresh out the dealership, no tune, no upgrade was no slouch either!

Just checked a few of my latest "clean" replays and they would have been dirty according to the WRS standards for which I am used to running. I guess I just have to practice cutting the corners as close as I can before the red time pops up. Pretty lenient on some of the corners they are, but I can adapt...I guess. Not complaining at all, just stating a fact as I have just shaved off about .600 off of yesterdays time just by cutting the corners more. Currently down to 1'54.190, still leaving a lot of time out there.

Yeah it's a TT of how far you can push the corner cutting thou im still pretty clean at least 2 wheels on the track on both chicanes but down to a 1:52.796 so already passed my target for this TT

Yeah it's a fine line I prefer the not exceeding track limits but guess that goes out the window when trying to get as high as you can on the leader board.
Thank mate think it's pretty much on the limit of what a fully clean lap would be at this pp thou I've just improved by 0.150 by taking a lot of kerb on second chicane

Quite liking this TT actually, got a good battle going on on my friends leaderboard with some very quick drivers! Not liking the amount you can cut the corners but as other have said probably best to grin and bear it! Have a 1.52.942 at the moment, think maybe a 1.52.4xx is there possibly? Will have another sesh later and hopefully improve!

p.s. may give your car a go skyline, looks sharp!!
