Added, both Miura are on share, both have my base tune. Mustard Yellow has no chassis reinforcement, Mariner Blue has chassis reinforcement.

The tune - complete with gearing :


Ballast : 191 kg
Position : -10 ( yes, it's at the front ) - with chassis reinforcement move the position to -4 to have the car rotate easier and front steering a little more responsive.
Weight Distribution : 47/53 ; 46/54 with -4 position.
Weight : 1171 kg
Use 40/60 weight distribution if prefer rear heavy car

LSD :
Initial : 9
Accel : 18
Brake : 9

Power level adjust to max 400PP.

Suspension F/R :

Ride height : -20 -20
Spring : 14.5 15.5
Extension : 4 8
Compress : 2 4
ARB : 4 3
camber : 2.1 1.8
Toe : -0.08 0.16

Transmission :

Reset to default.
Move final 3.900
Move top speed slider to minimum/left most.

set each gearing :

1st 3.900

2nd 2.600

3rd 2.000

4th 1.535

5th 1.250

then move final to 4.000, top speed on the graph should shows 203km/h or 126mph.

The gearing was done with 1st GTAuto Wheel - left most. Different wheel may produce different result.

Then why you haven't accepted my FR ? It still says pending response to my friend request on my friend list. I would have to delete the request if I wanted to send another one, but it's simpler if you just accept it or send me another FR

This happens sometimes with PSN. You have to exit the game, exit PSN and log back in sometimes to get things to flow through. Also happens with names showing up in GT5 Community/Profile. Everything can be accepted and you still don't show up for a while. Have to sign out and back in again.

Haha...now you're talking. I find it bizarre though that the car handles as well as it does with settings I have never used on a car when tuning before...lol.

It may have to do with low power engine at mere 160HP and generally lower speed + grip of comfort medium.

This happens sometimes with PSN. You have to exit the game, exit PSN and log back in sometimes to get things to flow through. Also happens with names showing up in GT5 Community/Profile. Everything can be accepted and you still don't show up for a while. Have to sign out and back in again.

It stayed there after I sign in and out several times, PSN server acting up. Anyway he sent me another FR and worked fine.

Sorry if this is a dumb blonde question, but what is the "borrow glitch"? I borrowed Ridox's Miura (Thank you)but Purple is just not my color and my own pink Miura is running none stop and is still at least a two or three days away from 400pp.

Borrow glitch means permanently borrow the car, means it's yours Search google for borrow glitch app, should only take a few minutes. I have 2 Miura on share now, yellow without chassis reinforcement and blue with chassis reinforcement, both have my base tune, give them a try and you are free to glitch/grab them.

So yesterday, I woke up to about 10 friend requests. I'm scared to find out how many have tried to add me today.

Blue is my second favorite color, so I will borrow that one, even though Pink is worth a few hundreths.

But red or orange is worth at least a few tenths.

Let me know how the tune drives with the chassis reinforcement as I haven't got the chance to drive it with chassis reinforcement installed.

It seems there are only a few cheater at the top 10, I hope PD delete them and now it will be more like 2 car TT with same PP Miura and Camaro.

Is that special tune really that good? Your progress is huge in last two days. I just want your opinion on it, how much is better than the one you shared here with us? I'm just curious because I made a tune similar to your old one, and I'm very happy with the tune but with a perfect lap I could get only 32,8xx.

I'd say what I'm using now is at most 2-3 tenths quicker than the one I posted here, which was based on you0099's car. Remember that I'm not the best of tuners out there.

The setup is different for sure. TC-Touni95 (who is like the head of the team) actually released a version 2 of the setup we've been using (The one I got a .3 with yesterday), and it was definitely an improvement. At least a tenth quicker.

Otherwise, Amo has just nipped me by a few hundredths, with a .221. 👍

My 1st full lap and only 2nd attempt of the day - with your tune - gained just over 1/2 sec to 1:35.831 enough to put me on the board for the 1st time at 202!! 👍

When you do this super dirty oil trick on the Miura does it need too be running at 50 percent on the power limiter and 1180 kg's or will it work at 100 percent on the power limiter and 980 kg's ?

You can run it at 100% and it will work just fine. Once you get the dirty oil, add full ballast and reduce power limiter to 50% (or 50.3% actually) and you'll be at 400PP.

Gave it another go for about an hour and couldn't improve on the time. I managed to invalidate a 1:32.149 and ruined several possible .0s. I'm going to take a break for the day and come back on Wednesday stronger. I know that a 1:31.9 is possible now. 👍

Hi Wayne, when I ran my Miura to dirty the oil I figured that it would travel more miles (in a 9hr or 24hr race for example) if it was as powerful as it could be for the race. Therefore I added all the power bits, titanium racing exhaust etc etc to make it as fast as possible.
If it only travelled at 10km/h it wouldn't go as far in a endurance race as it would if it was travelling at 300km/h.
However I have stopped doing endurance races with Bob as my PS3 is getting a bit long in the tooth and I am worried it might cark it due to overwork. I have already had 3 die.
And GT6 will be out shortly so owning a Miura with dirty oil this late in the game may not be much of an advantage in the very near future.
Of course the generosity of those with dirty oil Miura's who share them can not be overstated, clearly many of us would not even be in the race without them.
